Off the Record I would honest give NO STAR for this company

I would honest give NO STAR for this company. I started my ticket case with this company on this January. The court date was originally in February but has been extended to September 10. Today is September 18, I never received any update from this company who charged me to resolve my traffic ticket. Now I not only have to deal with my fine but the penalty that *** cost me me thousands of dollars for not showing up for my traffic ticket. Off the Record told me once I pay them to work on my case, I dont need to worry about showing *** in court. Once you pay for the service, they are done with you, they are negligent and fraudulent. Now I have to deal with both the court and this irresponsible company.

Off the Record I got pulled over for 33 over 70mph

I got pulled over for 33 over 70mph. Go to court got fined 750+ probation I asked for dash, body, and lidar cam as evidence to prove my car couldn't do that due to a transmission that can't shift past 4th gear. I had to plead not guilty to stay the fine and go to trail. The attorney was c*** and OTR said it was the best deal when the fine under law is 450. The attorney didn't even show up to court then spoke 15min with prosecutor and got me the deal OTR stated was the best deal. Then they closed my case without giving me proper representation. I never spoke to a supervisor, and what's worse is they always say they don't no the law. How can you direct people to the right attorney without knowing the law. Then tell me the nature of an offense is correct in the fine without evidence. Innocent until proven guilty.

Off the Record Terrible!

Terrible! This business is a complete joke! Absolutely do not trust this business. I'll explain; I received a speeding ticket. I was doing 89 mph on a 65-mph freeway. That calculates to 24-mph over the speed limit. If the speed is under 25-mph, you qualify for traffic school, I know that already. The fine for the infraction was $367, and an option to take traffic school for $59, for a total of $426. The lawyer that went to court for me did a crap job, because I was still found guilty and the court is now charging me $461. I contacted Off the Record to establish getting my refund and was told that I do not qualify for a refund because I received the option of traffic school. I tried arguing that I already had the option of traffic school and the lawyer did not earn it. Off the Record argued back saying that the lawyer did earn me traffic school because traffic school isn't guaranteed. What a total crock! So, I lost the $200 Off the Record fee and not have to pay the courts $461, for a grand total of $661! I could've only paid $426 and been done. Also, if Off the Record comes back and says "once you make the option to fight a ticket, you waive the right to traffic school" they can shove it! All the lawyer did is keep asking for extensions for the court date. I filed with Off the Record on July 31, the lawyer pushed this to February 6. I received a letter from the County on July 20 stating that I qualify for traffic school. Being an experienced lawyer, he could've told me that the ticket was a wash and that he had no real tactics to fight it and that I would be better off paying the fine that they gave me along with traffic school. Nope, they stole $200 from me. I urge everyone reading this to not do business with Off the Record. If I could attach all the documentation I have to this review, I would; to prove what I ask stating is 100% real and accurate.

Off the Record My attorney made me feel ghosted and not worth his time

My attorney made me feel ghosted and not worth his time. Im a first generation American doing my best to find legal resources for myself. I was ticketed for looking at directions on my phone, in a city I dont live in, in traffic, 3 blocks out from where I started driving. He not once asked for my story, only a picture of my license and 6 months later then told me my results in not even a full sentence. I would regularly check the app, reaching out every month to hear updates and it was only then I would get a delayed and brief answer. After the results, I actually ended up calling the court to pay my ticket because I still had to pay for it, and when I did they let me know that this ticket was actually never going to be on my record in the first place and verbally stated there was no need for an attorney for this. I was really surprised and distraught, as Im paying $300 now and most of that is going to the attorney. I also asked for a phone call with my attorney to discuss my ticket and he showed up 40 minutes late to our scheduled call - which is consistent to his regular communication. I was really stressed about the call and after waiting for as long as I did, it felt like a continued sign of disrespect. He made me feel in the dark, just like a number who isnt worth his time. When I shared my feedback to OTR, they gave me an invalidating response siding with my attorney and so here I am just hoping my voice will be heard. This entire experience felt unjust, another company taking advantage of peoples money, and keeping you in the dark about the process, and then giving you a result 6 months later without ever talking to you. As a person of color and first generation American, this is not the support I needed it was a mirror of our society, and why its so hard to know our rights. I learned more from *** and calling the Court more than I ever did - and so, thank you OTR & the attorney for teaching me to be more resourceful on my own.

Off the Record About four months ago I was coming out of a parking lot and started to go down the road then I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a State

About four months ago I was coming out of a parking lot and started to go down the road then I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a State Trooper flying up to me so I gave it a little more gas from 40 to *** all the way through the community for more than 5 minutes. He was so close to me you couldn't see his headlights and I was going the exact speed limit. I tried to make a left turn down the block so he can pass me by because I thought he was in a rush but before I can make the left turn it looked like he was trying to cut me off on the left side so I stopped the car and didn't make the turn. When I saw that he wasn't going to pass me I continue making a left turn and he also continued to tailgate me down the block so I pulled over and then about 5 to 10 seconds later he put on his lights, got out of the car and started talking nasty to me. He was asking me question after question why did I stop he said, when I went to answer he talked over me and said I picked up fast I told him I did not pick up fast. He then gave me a ticket for stopping, picking up fast and not using my blinker. I didn't do any of these things except not use my blinker because I thought that the law is ***'s that you do not have to use it. I found the website OFF THE RECORD, and thought I would give it a shot, keep in mind that I haven't gotten a ticket for over 30 years and my license is spotless. Anyway, after waiting for more than 2 months for my ticket to be handled I finally get an email saying that I didn't get any points but I still have to pay $200 for the ticket so now I paid $200 for the ticket and $144 for the off the record lawyer. This lawyer couldn't even get my ticket taken care of even though I haven't had a ticket in over 30 years, I find that impossible, I don't think this lawyer did a good job at all he just wanted to take. My money. Other people are saying the exact same thing so be careful for the OFF THE RECORD they're a bunch of scammers. This is easy money for them. They must make at least $5,000 a day scamming people like this. I wish I could tell you the lawyer's name but it's probably against the rules of the ComplaintsBoard.com.My advice to you is stay away from OFF THE RECORD and just pay the fine and go to traffic school you will save at least $100 or more.
