I am a 63 year old disabled woman who was forced into early retirement in lieu of harassment, bullying, and retaliatory tactics toward me by HRA Administrators. I was told that I think I am "Privileged" because of my disability and I sought help from my union Local 371 which was to no avail, I was basically thrown under a bus. I therefore chose to submit 2 DHR complaints against my administrators and Local 371 which was in May 2023. I also had to submit a complaint to the NYC Dept. of Investigation to request assistance with "Whistle Blower Protection" while I waited for DHR to investigate my cases. I hadn't heard anything from DHR and I decided to call the Brooklyn office on Friday, Dec. 7, 2023, and I was informed of the following, "An Investigator has yet to be assigned to my case and therefore my case is still pending!" Needless to say, I was extremely disheartened because per DHR procedure it stated that it takes 6 months to receive a decision from DHR regarding a person case. I also took offense because Director William Lamot, of the Brooklyn Office, was adamant about me submitting documents and my rebuttal in a timely fashion (of which I did), to only find out that absolutely nothing has been done with my cases thus far. It further upsets me because the parties that subjected me to these harsh injustices have gone unscathed and were not subjected to any consequences for their lack of professional actions. I submit this complaint because I would like to know how much longer it will be before my DHR cases are investigated? I did all that was required of me by DHR, and I still feel that I am being penalized for being disabled.

Desired outcome: I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact the DHR office in Brooklyn, talk to Mr. William Lamot as to why my cases have yet to be assigned an Investigator, and how much longer will it be.
