NU Car Rentals review: Car rental

I rented a car in Miami through Expedia at a price of 79$ USD for 5 days.

When I received the car on the 26th of October, 2023, the guy at the counter told me it would be more than double the price. 197$ USD.

I disagreed with him but he said it was mandatory to have liability coverage. I tried to show him my insurance that gives me liability coverage for 1 million dollars with any car I own, rent or drive. He refused to remove it.

Being stuck there with my son and needing a car, I had no choice but to sign the documents to receive the car.

When I returned the car on the 31st of October, I spoke with Lucas who told me I wasn’t charged for liability but for something different that he could not explain. He was unable to remove the costs because I had signed for them.

I feel their employee forced and scammed me into signing something I did not want or need.

I was charged 2.5 times the price that was offered on Expedia!

I am requesting a refund of 118$ USD that I feel was added without my consent.
