I did not sign up for my fitness pal subscription and I was being charged $20 for 3 months! I went on my app and I wasnt even given the features I was paying for so I dont understand why Im being charged!

Since you purchased the subscription via the App store, you would need to contact them directly regarding any cancellations or refunds. Apple controls all of their services. It's their policy that all iTunes purchases are managed solely by them. We have no way to access your initial payment information or subscription on our end. Only Apple can help assist with any cancellation or refund requests for subscriptions started on iTunes.

For months I have been getting emails from people accepting my friend requests on my fitness pal. The only problem is that I never heard of my fitness pal and never created an account so I would like to know who created an account with my email address and why I am being pestered with all this c*** I want that account closed immediately and all my personal information if any deleted.

I have paid for premium service but cannot access the premium service
I have paid for premium service but cannot access the premium service. I have contacted MyFitnessPal multiple times through customer service and no one responds. I have tried to reset my password to see if I log in under a different email and I never receive the link to reset my password - and I've checked all of my folders, including my junk folder. I paid for an annual subscription to Premium and haven't been able to use it or reach anyone at MyFitnessPal for months. I want my money back and I want to make sure others are not victim to the fraud they are causing by charging a fee for premium and not providing access to it.

- 2.21.2019 - you successfully upgraded to a year MyFitnessPal Premium via the App Store
- 07.2019 - possibly due to being logged out of the app, or perhaps updating to a new device, you logged in to an alternate account that did not have Premium attached
- 07.21.2019 - your email to our support team triggered an automated reply with suggestions for solving your account access problem, but you either did not receive this auto-reply or did not respond to it when it failed to resolve your issue. I apologize that we did not successfully engage with you at this time to fix the problem
- 10.27.2019 - you reached our support team and began a correspondence with ***
As of this morning it appears you have successfully accessed the Premium account in question.
The remaining issue is the roughly four months during which you were not logging in to the account for which you'd paid for Premium. We'd like to make sure you get at least a full year of Premium access. Unfortunately, because the subscription is via Apple/iOS, our options are limited because Apple does not give developers direct access to extending memberships or offering refunds. Two options present themselves:
1 - we will be happy to extend your membership for an additional year when it expires, to accommodate the inconvenience of the past four months. If you prefer this option, please cancel your subscription via iOS and reply to ***'s latest email letting him know you'd like us to extend your membership when it expires next February. We cannot cancel your subscription for you, but if you cancel it now you will still have Premium benefits until the end of your purchased year, and *** will make a note to grant you an additional year at the expiration date. PLEASE LET *** KNOW IF YOU PREFER THIS OPTION so that he can make sure yojavascript:void(0)u have instructions for canceling the subscription and that we have made note of the expiration date so we can manually extend your membership once your iOS subscription runs out in February
2 - if you would prefer a refund at this time, please know that Apple's policies prevent developers from refunding you directly. You can request a refund from Apple via https://*** or by phone ***. Apple retains total control of their refund policy and we can't guarantee a refund will be granted, but if you prefer this option hopefully they will work with you to satisfy your request.
I hope that one of these two options will make things right, and I apologize again for the frustration you've been experiencing since July, particularly that our initial auto-reply to your July complaint either did not reach you or did not make it clear that we hoped you'd reply for further help if the auto-response was not effective.

We responded swiftly to alert users and have since required all MyFitnessPal users who had not changed their passwords since that March 29, 2018 announcement, to reset their passwords. As a result, this list of passwords released from the 2018 breach is no longer valid because the passwords used before then were reset on MyFitnessPal.
We continue to encourage strong password practices including unique and complex passwords for all their accounts to enable users to further protect themselves.

I contacted your company in Feb
I contacted your company in Feb. 2020 and today in response to Ticket *** regarding a bug in which my diary entries for food and/or exercise are being deleted without any way to recover my information.After using your service daily since Jan. 2016, and being a paid "Premium" member for most of those years and to this day, I observed in Feb. 2020 that my diary entries from Feb 12, 2016 to Nov 23, 2016 were deleted. Support acknowledged the issue and stated that it would be investigated and fixed.Today, there is no stored data on my account from before Jan. 2018. Further, Q1 2018 consists of incomplete diary data entries.It is standard industry practice to store data indefinitely for active users, and I am extremely upset and distraught to have spent so much time meticulously entering data into your software, only to have it deleted without any chance for recovery.The "Premium" export feature does not export all the food/diary data in an account, so it is not a solution.

Depending on your Android device, typically you should be able to cancel the auto-renew by doing the following:
- Tap the Play Store App
- Select the Menu
- Select Subscriptions
- Select MyFitnessPal Subscription
- Cancel Subscription at the bottom
Once you have done that and the subscription has expired, please do the following:
