My entire experience with MyCostaRica was fantastic. From the moment I first contacted MyCostaRica, they stayed in communication about our trip. Kristel, Lorena, and their team planned a fantastic experience. In a world of booking everything online, I was hesitant to make arrangements, and send deposits not knowing exactly what would come of it. All the reviews here gave me peace of mind, and I could not be happier that we used them. I simply gave the team our budget, and an idea of the kind of hotels, and experiences we were looking for. I then asked if they had other recommendations for experiences/excursions we had not considered. They sent several itineraries, and we picked the one we thought was best for us. What they arranged was everything we could have hoped for as a first trip to Costa Rica. We took their recommendations, and used the transportation services they offered. We were so relieved not to have to drive while there. The drivers for each of the excursions were prompt, if not early most days. We booked our excursions with them prior to our trip. We left a couple afternoons open in case there were things in the area we wanted to explore. We had no problems with any of our reservations for excursions. MyCostaRica truly made this vacation the most carefree vacation we've been on in a long time. All we had to do was show up, and everything else was up to them. We commented all week about how everything ran so smoothly. Just prior to our trip, they sent a recommended packing list, and gave detailed instructions on where to meet their team once we arrived. Once we were in country, they checked in to make sure we were not having any problems with the trip. My friend got sick during one day there, and the direct number they provided allowed us to update them on our plans. I highly recommend, without any hesitation MyCostaRica to anyone considering a trip to Costa Rica.

We just returned from our family vacation that we booked through MyCostaRica and it was the best family vacation we've experienced. From the beginning of the booking process all the way up to the day we departed the beautiful airport in San José and had to return home, we did not experience anything negative or complicated on our trip. We really had nothing to worry about. We were a little worried about missing our return flight but MyCostaRica and the Whatsapp was so helpful and reassured us that we would be fine, and of course - everything was fine! Our final driver, Juan, was so comforting and assured us we'd get there in a perfect time and we did. Everyone we encountered on this trip, the drivers, the hostess at each stop, concierge at each hotel, everyone in town, our guides, and everyone at MyCostaRica was just great! Maria and Carlos and fellow staff at MyCosta Rica helped us plan to see so many beautiful things that Costa Rica has to offer, the animals were so abundant and each Costa Rican resident we encountered made it their goal to show us any animals they spotted. Example, we saw a baby sloth on the side of a path at the Arenas del Mar and the driver immediately pulled over to show us up close before it was guided to safety by professional staff. We were also lucky to have such great drivers spot animals from their tourist bus and pull over so we could see it. Costa Rica residents are the best, they really want you to love what they love about their country and it is so beautiful to be a part of. Very easy to communicate with and the WhatsApp was so helpful for any questions we had but everything was so detailed and went according to plan. Very comforting! If anyone is planning a trip to Costa Rica I highly recommend MyCostaRica. It was such a relaxing experience and everything went according to our itinerary without any hiccups. We cannot wait to go back and use this company again.

We scheduled a trip with My Costa Rica back in April 2022 for an end of the year 2-week trip to the Central Valley and Pacific side of the country. We had absolutely no experience with travel to Costa Rica and were looking for help. My Costa Rica had excellent reviews, so we reached out to see what they had to say. We were not disappointed. We talked extensively with their travel expert initially who really sold us on the country and their travel service. We had always heard that you needed two weeks to really enjoy the trip, and he definitely agreed. The travel expert spent a lot of time on the front end with us to find out exactly what we wanted to do so he and his team could set up a very personal and focused itinerary to cover everything we wanted. It was amazing. We realized most of what we wanted to do was primarily on the Pacific side of the country. We covered seeing two volcanos (Poas and Arenal), tours of a rescue sanctuary and coffee plantation, zip lining and waterfall rappelling, a Cloud Forest park tour in Monteverde (Santa Elena), an amazing stay on the coastal beach town Manuel Antonio and tour in Quepos, a stay at Drake Bay for a tour of Corcovado National Park and deep sea fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling at Cano Island. Then we took our final trip back to San Jose for a tour of the city and one last overnight stay before we had to head home. We can't say enough good things about My Costa Rica. The travel expert closely worked with us months ahead of time to make sure we were good with the schedule and made any changes we requested as best as they could. While in Costa Rica, the travel expert checked on us often to make sure we were ok and were available 24/7 in case we needed anything. Because of their careful pre-planning, we didn't have to call them once. We highly recommend using this service. They had everything covered so we didn't have to worry about anything. It truly was the best trip of our lives.

Wildlife Everywhere we went, we were surrounded by incredible wildlife. From monkeys swinging through the trees to sloths lazily hanging from branches, we were in awe of the diversity and abundance of animals. Our guides were able to spot animals that we would have never noticed on our own, and their knowledge and passion for the wildlife was contagious.7. Food and Drinks The food in Costa Rica was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed traditional dishes like gallo pinto and casado, as well as fresh seafood and tropical fruits. The drinks were also a highlight, with refreshing cocktails made from local ingredients.8. Overall Experience Our trip to Costa Rica with My Costa Rica was truly unforgettable. The country's natural beauty, friendly people, and incredible wildlife made it a destination like no other. We felt well taken care of by the My Costa Rica team, and their attention to detail and personalized service made our trip seamless. We can't wait to return to Costa Rica and explore more of this amazing country. Thank you, My Costa Rica, for an incredible experience!

My husband and I are going to Costa Rica for our 3rd time in 2022. The 1st time was March , and the 2nd time was Feb 2018. Both trips went flawlessly thanks to the work My Costa Rica did for us. The hardest part of it was the waiting period for the day to come for the start of our trips. We are done planning our third trip and are anxiously waiting for the date for our 3rd journey to begin.

Before our 1st trip we went to several travel agencies that seemed to only offer pre-packaged trips. So, you did not get everything you wanted. It looked like we would have to pick what plan best suited us even though all included some things in the package that we were not interested in. Then I came across My Costa Rica on the Internet. They whole business is based on making your trip YOUR TRIP! Not only did they make both trips the way we wanted they changed it several times to fit in to our budget and additional places I wanted to see after still doing more reading about everything Costa Rica has to offer. My Costa Rica was phenomenal at making new suggestions to meet my new interests. The beauty of working with My Costa Rica is you can go strictly on their suggestions, do partial suggestions, or do your own suggestions and they will make a plan, so you get the most out of your trip. We have utilized all three options, our 1st trip we relied on My Costa Rica to plan our trip based on our interests. The 2nd trip we relied on My Costa Rica and did some of our own plan as to where we wanted to go. This trip we pretty much said where we wanted to go & My Costa Rica made all the arrangements, accommodations, and transfers.

Each destination for all our previous trips My Costa Rica and his team planned out activities that we were interested in to do in the area. And all transportation to the activities and to new locations were planned out for us and could not have gone any smoother. It really gave us peace of mind to have all the arrangements made for us. All the accommodations were great and the staff at each location were awesome. We were treated with respect and appreciation for staying at their lodge and/or resorts. The staff taking us to the different locations were also incredible. Very professional and also very friendly. I anticipate we will have the same level of smooth and flawless transitions with our upcoming trip. Upon arrival we were greeted by a representative with all our transfers and a phone number so we could contact My Costa Rica 24/7 if we needed ANYTHING. Another great peace of mind feeling! I am truly glad I read the reviews for My Costa Rica and took the step to working with them because of the great reviews I read. I am pleased to say the reviews are accurate. This is a great travel agency to work with. They listen to what you want to do & see and offer suggestions based on your interests and budget. They are very quick and thorough with the itineraries they create and excellent with answering all questions. I would highly recommend working with them if you are thinking of doing a vacation in Costa Rica. I would rate them higher than a 5 if that was possible! My Costa Rica is the best!
