I’ve been sending emails for a week with no response. The rent office and Christen at corporate are very unprofessional. I have a hard time getting anything resolved with them. They give the wrong information and don’t respond when it needs clarifying. Since christen isn’t responding to my email nor is whomever the kboland email belongs to I’ll post my email message here. I need to know what’s the cost to break my lease but I see they are going to wait until I pay it to try and get additional funds. Here is the email that was send and the pictures.

Good morning,

I’m reaching out again about my bill and monthly rent amount. I spoke with you all last month and it wasn’t a good call. I was hung up on by corporate and told all the wrong information. I called because of the increase in my bill and I was told that my bill was prorated and was sent a ledger that didn’t show any prorations only late fees that changed my bill. I was told by 2 different people in the rent office and corporate that my bill would go back down to the expected $17 increase without prorations. My complaint was I could not afford $1000 for rent and was assured it was only prorations. Now I receive a bill that’s about $10 more than the last one I received. Now I notice amenity fees and insurance fees which I have provided my own renters insurance for the last 3yrs that I’ve been living here. The bill was prorated and increased due to these additional fees that just seem to be added this year. I’m not a billing agent nor do I work for Morgan properties. I feel as leasing consultants and management or managers if you see I’m calling because of an increase that I’ve never seen before that should have been told to me. No matter whether it’s in the lease or not your job is to provide great customer service and educate your renters when they don’t understand. The corporate office hung up in my face instead of properly explaining the bill and all of these increases. The main office failed to inform me as well. If you see someone is having a hard time understanding prorations that they’ve never seen before the proper thing to do as customer service agents and corporate is to thoroughly explain all charges. Not just tell me I’ve had these charges previously when I haven’t, then to tell me it’ll go back to normal, when you all as the educated leasing office and corporate knew it was way more than a $17 increase and would always be. No one mentioned additional charges or fees. That’s what caused my bill to be that high and prorated, instead everyone was very rude and argued a wrong argument. I know I’ve never seen prorations on my bill and this explains why it was prorated. I’m trying to understand why no one in the main office or corporate was educated enough to explain to me the proper billing instead of telling me it’s that big of a proration from a $17 increase in the rent amount. If it would have been explained then I would have still not liked it but would have understood, I would have been able to make the decision then to break my lease 30days ago instead of being faced with this issue again. I want to know how much it’ll cost to break my lease because this is not what I expected from well educated leasing agents and a corporate employee. I don’t use any amenities. I don’t use the fitness center, I don’t use the pool that took 2yrs to open, I have my own washer and dryer, don’t use Amazon hub, and I was never offered anything to switch internet over so I pay my own internet, and I pay my own renters insurance so I’m not sure why I’m being billed for that. I do know for all of the additional fees and amenities quarterly I have to deal with bowels backed up in my shower and my toilets always stopped up and flushing on their own. I also can never dispose of my trash properly because it’s always overflowing out, almost into the streets. I would like an email response on what I need to do to void my lease. I need every discussion documented. Thanks and have a great day. I’m looking forward to an immediate response and resolution. The issues with this office seems to get worst every time I make an online review or complaint. I really hope this isn’t the issue.

Desired outcome: I want out of lease
