If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst customer service! Had our brand new furniture moved across country and received them damaged, as well as they gave us a quote and raised it after picking up items, and paying deposit and half of the initial quote! It took Mission Transportation 6 months to fulfill claim and they send $100! Scam artists! The delivery people were sketchy as well!

This company is reliable and the movers weee great i used then to travel to the east coast and had a great experience i wouls definitely uae them again and recommended them to famiky and friends all over the price waa good and came quickly with no damage

I feel it is Fraud Company! Do not use! Company did one low quote estimate to get business. On day of move raised the price by $5000. Company stated 3-5 day delivery. It took seven. Charged by cubic foot. I understand that to be illegal. They demand half payment up front. They demand full payment prior to off loading truck. No government agency can help you after you hire this company. The cost to sue is more than you possessions are worth. Again, recommend Do not use.

Chris texted me and said, and I quote, "call me i have a truck going to NC in Sep my price will be half the other movers". Well, we went with MissionTransportation because of this. My stuff didn't leave San Diego until the November and they charged me twice as much as what was promised (as compared to half the price of another quote I got). I told him what I had and he gave me a quote without offering an in home estimate. Therefore the estimate was WAY off and when they got 90% of our stuff in the truck they told us it would be 400 sq feet more - TWICE the $$$ what we were originally quoted for 750 cubic feet. The movers showed up for pick up 2.25 hours late, 2 days after originally agreed. I told them what day we would be ready for delivery and the mover said nothing abut that date. He did not make it clear that my stuff would be delivered 7-14 days AFTER the first available delivery date. The day I expected delivery- 30 days after pick up- it was still sitting in storage in SanDiego! The whole premise for getting half price ( sharing a truck with someone in September, was a LIE). My stuff showed up 21 days after that date, 54 days after pick up. On delivery day, the delivery driver of *** said that his boss didn't want him driving his $150,000 rig on our gravel driveway ( even though Mission Transportation said that they *** our address and it should be okay) so they threatened to put our stuff in storage unless we paid them $700 extra to rent a $39.95 for a 20 foot "shuttle" *** truck. They took two trips to deliver our stuff down the driveway. One of the movers, bless her heart was probably a 12 year old girl, their daughter. She worked hard but this factor definitely slowed thing down. I get that there is extra labor involved to put it in a shuttle but it was not our problem that we had space for 80 feet of parking in front of our home, for a 53 foot truck, as was in the contract and they show up with a bigger truck and decide they don't do gravel, and make us pay more. Also they would not put one thing in the shuttle until we paid them in full- and this was ridiculous because they could have just driven away with our stuff. I was very concerned about it but he threatened again to put it in storage and deal with the court system- so we accepted his deal to hold onto his drivers license and we give him the money. Adam, the owner of the company thought he was doing a good deal by charging us $4.00 a cubic foot instead of $4.40 ( a $700 "discount" that the delivery movers just ended up charging us for the shuttle, so there was NO discount for being late, lying and fraudulent). So the fact is we still ended up paying $3,423 more per cubic foot than what we were told "half the rate of other movers." Totally out of integrity. Rude. Threatening...that bait and switch is called fraud. I do not recommend Mission Transportation at all. The only reason why I gave them one star is that the mom from *** was very nice and her kids worked hard.

We then got on the phone with the owner, Adam, who was absolutely no help at all and could give no explanation to why we were given such an inaccurate quote. All he had to say is "I don't know what to tell you. If you want this stuff moved, you will have to pay the $4000." These guys are scam artists who will try to severely up-charge you at the last minute, once they can back you into a corner. We ended up cancelling the delivery altogether because these people are NOT trustworthy. After reading all these other horrible reviews, I'm not surprised. We will take our business elsewhere. What a big fat waste of time and energy dealing with these people. Do not hire them.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst customer service! Mission Transportation I feel it is Fraud Company!

I feel it is Fraud Company! Do not use! Company did one low quote estimate to get business. On day of move raised the price by $5000. Company stated 3-5 day delivery. It took seven. Mission Transportation Worst service I have ever had

Worst service I have ever had. Broken furniture and bad communication. It started out with one quote then ended up being 1,000.00 more once our things were already on the truck. Were told we could pay by credit card prior to delivery and no one answered the phones to be able to pay before the driver came. We talked to someone named Chris who had gave us a $1500 guaranteed estimate for moving some items from one storage unit to another. On the scheduled moving day no one showed up. They ended up coming the following day, and suddenly the price went up to $4000. They claimed that we had more items than expected, however we were VERY VERY explicit and clear with the exact dimensions of our storage unit and EXACTLY how much stuff we had. We then got on the phone with the owner, Adam, who was absolutely no help at all and could give no explanation to why we were given such an inaccurate quote. All he had to say is "I don't know what to tell you. If you want this stuff moved, you will have to pay the $4000." The moving company quoted me the best price compared to all the competitors solely because the military discount. The contract we agreed upon said the items would be delivered on May 10th or before 45 days after that with continuous contact and updates provided if any discrepancies were there. Today is July 5th, 55 days after the first date. I have had no contact from the company and upon reaching out my calls are always pushed back or not answered. Finally reached the company today and was told we are trying to find a driver still and was given no time frame at all. I am extremely displeased and have began pursuing legal actions.

I scheduled a move with this company and they told me my stuff would be delivered to mom new address within 2-7 days. No one ever called to give me an update. When I call they tell me they dont know when I will be getting my stuff. Now they wont answer the phone at all. I still havent received any of my furniture

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! I used a third party agent who led me to a contract with Mission Transportation. They packed my stuff August 25th and I was told me stuff would come on September 3rd to September 10th. It is now October 12th and they have not left ***. They called me a couple of weeks ago telling me my stuff would be leaving in a few days. Never got another call. My stuff never left and they told me 'they didn't know why'. I moved up to *** where the seasons are changing. They have my mattress, clothes, school supplies, everything I need. I have already spent over $1,000 buying things I already own. Two weeks ago I called about a refund so that I could have someone else come and pick my stuff up. They never called me back. Now every time I try calling I only get a busy signal. I'm at a loss and this has been a huge financial and mental burden. It seems they have no intentions of moving my things. This has been the worst company I have ever interacted with.

The Company failed to deliver all items listed in the contract on 4/27. I made several attempts by phone requesting missing items. I was told by *** owner to file a claim. I submitted written Claim dated 6/25 requesting compensation for all 19 items that were missing. The Company can also make adjustment to my final charge. *** signed certified receipt and confirmed claim received by telephone on 8/8. I last spoke with *** in Claims on 8/27/2031 who CC me email sent to ***, still no response. I sent email to Company requesting status. I cant get no one to provide me a status of my claim with receipt #*** MC ***.

Please dont book with them. They gave us a date they did not keep. Then they ensured we would have same day delivery. Turns out *** who was working with us has no experience with booking so he was just all talk. They said we would get a refund because they missed a date leaving us at our old home. They never gave us a refund and didnt work with our bank. Now they have a $100 for doing no work at all. Believe the reviews because this is the worst moving company! They will take your deposit and not refund it regardless of not keeping their word.

I called them the first of July for them to deliver my furniture to me in ***. The lady *** said she would I knew that my 30 days of the free storage would be up by the 26th of July. *** told me that my belongings should be on a truck by the first of aug. I called back again around the first part of aug and she told me it would be the middle of aug so I called back on the 10th of aug the operations manager told me that they were loading my stuff on the truck as we speak. I called back on fri to see when the truck would get here and the operations manager then told me that my things are not on the truck I would have to wait this has been the worst experience for me all my sons school clothes r on the truck and he told me there was nothing he could do I had to wait mins u this move has cost me *** dollars or more

I hired Mission Transportation to move my staff from *** to ***.In the beginning they told me that its gonna take 3 weeks to deliver but now it is more than 2 months that I am waiting with no delivery.I called them in many occasions but with no results when my staff are coming.I am afraid that they wont deliver my boxes specifically there are boxes that my wifes business uses.She is loosing $20k a month.Last communication with them was come and pick up your boxes from the storage.I dont know what to do now.Please help.Thank you

We hired Mission Transportation Inc to pack and move our items from *** to *** on 15 May . Outside of being late on arrival to pack our goods and taking two days instead of one, they destroyed our door in the home and have yet to pay for the damages, costing us our $3k deposit and $2200 dollar *** to repair. They still have not paid for the repair.In addition to that and more importantly, we still dont know where our items are, and its two weeks after their pick up. We are here in another state without our household belongings and Mission Transportation Inc is now demanding upwards of 40% more than their quoted price and are holding our items hostage until we pay them. We have no idea where our items are, and we receive nothing in writing from them. When we call them we are either lied to or bullied with veiled threats that we will not receive our items. We want our items delivered and damages paid.

I hired this company to pick up and hold my items from a house in ***, , and then deliver to Eagle, *** once I purchased a home. There were numerous issues involving pickup, storage and the amount charged for storage. They spent quite some time in my home, opened every area and told me I had roughly *** cu ft to store and never off by more than 100 cu ft. Same as my neighbor who also used them, same model home. After they have all my stuff they claimed to have *** cu ft. My boxes were all filled, mixing heavy and light stuff to equalize weight and make sure every box was filled. They upped the charge significantly for storage. On top of this they failed to deliver 14 boxes with high end electronics, purses, along with a missing barstool. They delivered someone elses footboard, which I had them take. They told me they had *** and never did after numerous contacts, nor did they even call to discuss these issues.

Hello, We hired Mission Transportation in late October to transport our home belongings from *** to ***. We were promised a date of arrival November 1st, and our items did not arrive until December. Once arrived, many items were missing or damaged, boxes marked with 'caution, breakable' were smashed and the piano leg was broken and taped without telling us about it. We paid $7,125. Further more, on the day of moving, one of the workers demanded additional $3000 on the spot, mentioning our items will 'not fit' in the truck, even though we have given a clear description. Once we refused to pay extra and asked him to stop at a storage place, he demanded extra payment of $400 to his personal Venmo account, which later the company refunded. We have tried tirelessly to communicate with this business, and have been ignored. We are asking for a fair compensation for our damages and also hope this will prevent others from using their service.

The driver who drove and unloaded the truck was *** fact he had to wait in *** for another helper to ride with him because the *** highway Patrol would not let him drive the truck alone too young. I overheard him tell the other movers about this. I wonder if he got in an accident and that is why *** Highway Patrol was involved and would explain the amount of damage done to our belongings. Everything was damaged and looked like it had been moved several times. Everything that was packaged by you was damaged. We waited two months for our belongings and got the run around every time we called, never got a call back, but instead had to call multiple times. When my husband finally got so frustrated at the lack of return calls, he yelled at the lady answering the phone, Not OK, but frustration was high at this point. That is when we got a call back telling him not to talk to them like that, but they did actually get the ball mov

1st I want to preface by saying I had an in home estimate, not a zoom call. *** spent 2 hours at my home. My move included packing as well. I informed He informed me it would fit in 1 truck and one day to pack and move would be fine. I was paying $20 a box to pack. Llittle did I know they would use small book boxes for the kitchen to double the count and cost to me. My estimate was for a full truck; however, 1/2 way through the move I received a VERY nasty call from ***, telling me my move was going to cost me another couple of thousand dollars for using a full truck and up to another 6k if I went over. When I tried to explain, he stated I was making a big deal over 5%. It was 50%, not 5. He also told me he could leave the job or leave anything over 1 truck at my old house. First truck arrived and severe damage to items they packed, including shattered tv. Now I have to wait over 1 month for balance of items when I was told a few days after 1st shipment. Fraud from day 1!

Mission Transportation Company sent three workers to my home on May 15 to load my personal belonging from *** to ***

Company sent three workers to my home on May 15 to load my personal belonging from *** to ***. When the truck arrived an unloaded my belongings, I noticed there were two tall heavy duty work ladders missing and, my adjustable queen size mattress had been removed from the bubble wrap and was soiled. A complaint was filed with Mission Transport and I spoke with Mr. Adam D (Operating Manger) regarding the claim. After weeks of not receiving the check as I was told my Mr. D had been mailed, I was eventually received *** for $100. I then called Mr. D regarding the extremely low amount of $100 for my two heavy duty work ladders and adjustable queen size mattress of which I was told by Mr. D was base at 60cents per pound. The weight of mattress, 130 pounds, *** 14 ft. ladder weigh approx. 68 lbs. *** 19 ft. multi position ladder. weigh approx. 47 lb $40.80, $28.20, $78 = $147.00 not $100

Everything I own was loaded into a truck On July 16 by mission transportation. With the promise by both the broker company who had hired them and the drivers from mission transportation that my delivery would happen within the two week agreed on time frame. I was charged an additional fee for a direct delivery. *** a warehouse in *** and had not been dispatched to *** yet. I asked to speak to a manger because this was not the agreement and was transferred to *** who assured me my items were still on the truck which in fact was a lie, and he would call me back in a couple of days to let me know when they could find a driver. Another 2 weeks went by and I called again this time being told by *** that my things were being loaded for delivery. When they did arrive I found that pictures were missing from frames or frames were missing and items were damaged. This is theft. *** refuses to re

BEWARE. I unknowingly hired a brokerage service to movement things, they contracted the job to Mission Transportation. When Mission transportation arrived to my pick up location a man named *** tried upping the moving cost from $6700 to $12000 for a 650sqft apartment and said I needed to pay half now otherwise my things would be taken off the truck. I told him I'll wait to see how much room is taken up on the truck then we can talk about pricing he said "call me back when the movers are done, you're going to feel really stupid when you tell me I'm right." He then kept calling me and I told him I wouldn't talk pricing till the truck was loaded and he responded "OK I'll remember that when you want your s*** and I don't deliver it to you." I spoke with the owner *** who said there was nothing he can do. Mission Transportation My Family and I were in the process of moving to south Dakota

My Family and I were in the process of moving to south Dakota. we used a Third party administrator to set up the moving arrangements for our belongings in our house. They did not share who the movers were that they used so I was unable to research beforehand. our third party used Mission Transportation Inc as the movers. I had let them know that I would be leaving my house on Aug 25th and need the items picked up on the 23rd or the 24th. they showed up on aug 26th, stated that the we had more items then what was in the original contract which isn't true and upped the price. i told the gentleman on the phone that i was unable to pay that he said fine we won't move you. when i called him back i said that i needed something in writing that he refused to move us. he lowered the price ***. i had them load. each status call they have lied. and then today they said that the truck has broke down but won't tell us where and won't answer the phone. they are now a month past orig contract del da

Mission Transportation On May 7th I signed a $2,158.70 contract with and paid an $833.80 deposit to *** (out of ***, **) to move 286 cubic feet

On May 7th I signed a $2,158.70 contract with and paid an $833.80 deposit to *** (out of ***, ) to move 286 cubic feet of items from my former house in ***, , to our newly-bought property in ***, . I was assigned Mission Transportation from ***. A pickup date of May 10th was promised by Mission, but they kept moving the date until movers finally showed up at 9 pm on May 17th. The moving crew loaded up their truck and then told me that I had exceeded the cubic footage that I paid for by 100 CF, although they never proved to me how they came upon that figure. The owner of the company, ***, called me to say that I had to pay an additional $1,000, but that he would discount $200 for the 1 week delay. I pointed out that my contract rate was $5/CF, so he lowered the extra to $500 (with no $200 discount). They have had my items for 6 weeks with no idea when they will deliver them. They also will not let me see my items in the warehouse. Please help

We are shocked and confused why the cost increased dramatically when your team was at our home loading our belongings. Would there be a way to communicate with the driver to plan for the arrival of the truck? Contracted this company to ship my HHGs on 10 Aug from ***, *** to ***'ve had numerous issues with it's operations manager/Partial owner ***. It began when I was charged $1,192 for the storage of my items. I called on Oct 4th, 2021 to set a date for delivery for my items. I spoke to *** and let him know that I'd be signing for my new home on the 18th and would like my HHGs delivered on 21 Oct. Called again on 9 October as I had been told to call back on that day to get a better estimate on a date of delivery, at which point *** told me that he would not be able to make that happen because he ran the risk of having the items here before I signed for my new property; when I told him I wasn't happy with that result he then told me that I needed to pay him an additional storage fee of $1,192 to store my items till 11/10. I had previously paid storage that carried me out to 10/9. I told him that on the previous conversation he had told me I wouldn't have to pay any additional storage as long as I called him before the storage end timeline with a delivery date, which I did. He then began to berate me and say that he " would put my s*** on a truck, if I wanted". I just hung up the call. Since then, I've called the company at least 8 times, each time I was given a story such as "your stuff has been dispatched, and will be assigned to the driver returning next week. You should have your stuff in 10days or so. Then I call back and it's the same story. Today 11/2. I spoke with *** again after I was told he'd be contacting me days ago. I asked what kind of discount could he possibly do, I shared with him that at this point, had it not been for my families memories and my military awards, I would no longer purse the stress. He told me " why would I give u a discount if your not going to be happy anyways". I was also told my items wouldn't arrive for two more weeks. This company is extremely unprofessional. I think the ComplaintsBoard.com needs to hold them accountable.
