Mills Air fixing my AC

fixing my AC. I was sweating like a pig before he came and now I'm chillin' like a villain. Mills Air is the real deal, y'all. They know their stuff and they get the job done right. I highly recommend them if you need any HVAC work done. They're the bomb dot com.

ANDREA F...3/4 Jay did a great job and his customer service was good. He showed is what needed to be done to our A/C and explained it to us... We have other service people come to do our A/C over the years and did not do a good job. Jay is a keeper...I have told some friends about the service already...

Hunter did a great job! He found the problem fast, worked with his office to get warranty repairs, got the part fast, put it in fast, and made sure the whole system was working good! Hunter's my AC dude! Thanks, Hunter!

Mills Air kyle was my guy for today's call

kyle was my guy for today's call. my ac wasn't coolin' right and he said it was a freon leak. he gave me some choices for fixin' it - fixin' it up, gettin' a new one just like it, or upgradin'. kyle knew his stuff and was real pro about it. way better than other ac companies i've dealt with lately. thanks mills air!

Mills Air Don't use Mills Air for big jobs or installs!

Don't use Mills Air for big jobs or installs! They did the houses in my hood and most of us have big problems. Almost none of our return air vents work in our central air setup except the one below the unit (I mean ZERO draft whatsoever). Rooms with 10+ degree difference on top of it, air not properly circulating in a house when paid for what is supposed to be a correctly setup, each room return air, central air. Called them out often for a fix, most they offered was to put 'blocking' in my vents for a charge. I showed them that outright closing vents off didn't make much of a difference in the issues but .. well after finding out the REAL issue below I get why they are running from their VERY badly done work.. After having a few other companies come to check everyone says the same thing. They did a TERRIBLE job with our runs in the attic and the ONLY way to fix it is to completely re run all the duct work. It is a spaghetti mess of cheap flex duct. This turns out to be quite a common issue when people notice their return air vents are not functioning. Currently in our hood, due to poor responses and bad service in regards to these issues, many of us are seriously considering our legal options. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY FOR ANY MAJOR WORK. VERY LITTLE ETHICS IN THEIR FINISHED PRODUCT! RARELY DO I SEE A COMPANY SO UTTERLY FAIL AT WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXPERT IN AND REFUSE TO DO A THING TO RESOLVE THEIR OWN ISSUES IN INSTALLATION / LACK OF KNOWLEDGE / CHEAP UNSKILLED LABOR / WHATEVER THE ISSUE ITS ON THEM. IF YOU EXPECT A GOOD JOB TO BE DONE, DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE!

Mills Air Mills Air really let me down

Mills Air really let me down. We got a new house with two units, but the main one wasn't working right. We called Mills twice, and the technician came in October . He didn't use any fancy tools, just a temperature reader. I told him we set it to different temps, but it wasn't working. He said it was fine and lectured me about HVAC not being like a light switch (I'm an engineer, by the way). We had the same problem again, and the same technician came back and said it was fine again. This was during the warranty period. When the warranty was almost up, we were out of the country for a few months. Our neighbor with the same house came over and said it was really hot and our electric bills were high. This was a few months after the warranty ended. We called Mills again and said we didn't want that technician. Another guy came and did some tests and said we might have a leak and put in refrigerant. He said the previous calls were related to this. He didn't give us an estimate or anything. Now we got a bill for $492. They didn't even fix the leak. The technician didn't say how much it would cost. We didn't change anything, and our family of four was the same. I checked the electricity usage and it was much higher before they fixed it. They're asking us to pay for refrigerant and a diagnostic fee. They didn't give us an estimate. We called twice before and have witnesses. A good company would help their customers, but Mills Air didn't.

Mills Air I called Mills Air back in Feb to fix my NEW air conditioning unit that wasn't cooling properly

I called Mills Air back in Feb to fix my NEW air conditioning unit that wasn't cooling properly. They came out and charged me $400 for a new drain pan and pipe flush, but it didn't fix the problem. They came back and charged me again, saying the coil system needed to be replaced for $1500. But 90 days later, my house is still having the same issue. They came back and said the coil system they installed was faulty and leaking oil. They said it was under warranty, but now they want me to pay another $500 for labor. The manager has no customer service skills and is refusing to service our home. I've hired a new company to fix the issue, but now I have to pay for another coil system out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They scammed us for services for the past 4 months and have yet to fix the issue with our air conditioning unit.

Mills Air Mills Air, Inc

Mills Air, Inc. is a total rip-off. My A/C has been acting up like crazy and this is the fourth time it's happened in less than 5 months. And get this, it happened AGAIN less than 24 hours after they supposedly fixed it. I mean, what the heck? I had it installed on 01/28 and it's already giving me so much trouble. Don't waste your money on these guys.

I got my AC put in by Mills Air on September 6th and they gave me a 10 year warranty. They're supposed to be open all the time for emergencies, but I called three times and the dispatcher said they wouldn't come out after 10pm. I asked about their 24/7 thing and she said "that's just how it is." Right now it's 93 degrees in my house and I gotta go find somewhere else to stay cuz it's too hot and humid.

Mills Air We got our new house from Mills Air in December

We got our new house from Mills Air in December . When we moved in, we noticed that the house was hot everywhere except under the return. We called Mills Air, and they came over and found out that they installed the air handler backwards. They fixed it, but it looked a little different. Since then, we've had a lot of problems. First, there was a leak in the coils in the air handler about 2 years after they fixed it. Mills Air charged us $400 for the freon before they found out about the leak. They fixed the coils for free, but now they say any other problems are our responsibility. The unit is under warranty until 12/6.

Mills Air was supposed to help us with our HVAC, but Jason, the tech, said we needed to replace all our ductwork even though we just did it last year. We still had problems after they did the work, so I contacted the owner, Leon Mills, who said they would fix it. But after months of emails, they still haven't done anything. My electric bills are super high and it's really uncomfortable in my house. Another company, Certified Climate Control, came and said there were a lot of issues with the ductwork and the systems. They said the ductwork was fixed before, but there were still problems. They also found some sensors that weren't hooked up and some big runs that didn't need to be there. I think they could have done a better job with the ductwork.

Mills Air I got a new AC from Mills Air last year for 5K

I got a new AC from Mills Air last year for 5K. When we came back from a weekend trip, the house was super hot, and the AC wasn't working. Mills said they could come from 1-6 pm that day, but they scheduled us for the wrong day. I asked them to come as soon as possible because I have a baby, but no one showed up on Monday. When I called on Tuesday, they said they tried calling me twice at 9 pm, but no one called. Finally, a technician came on Tuesday at 5 pm and said the blower motor was broken. They didn't have an emergency part, and we had to wait for the shop to order it. When my husband called on Wednesday, they didn't give us a definite answer on when it would be fixed. When my mom and I called, they said they would call me back that day, but they didn't. They were rude and dismissive, even though it's their warranty. No one called.
