So, I had a bit of a problem with Midnight Velvet. I bought something from them and they charged me twice! Can you believe it? I was so mad. But when I tried to get my money back, they wouldn't do it. They said I had to pay for it twice! That's not fair, right?

So, I refused to pay and then they got really mad. They sent me to a collection agency and even put it on my credit report! Can you believe that? I was so upset. But I didn't give up. I talked to the collection agency and the credit bureau and explained what happened. And you know what? They listened to me! They understood that I was right and that Midnight Velvet was wrong.

The collection agency even sent me a letter saying that they were satisfied with my explanation and closed my case. And the credit bureau took it off my credit report! I was so relieved. I don't think I'll ever shop at Midnight Velvet again, but at least I got my money back and my credit report is clean.

My mom signed up with Midnight Velvet and they gave her a $100 limit. She bought some luggage and paid her bills on time until she fell and broke her hip. Then they started sending her mean letters. She only owed them $20 more. I called them and talked to someone and told them what happened. They said she still had to pay. When my mom got home, she called them and they made her wait on the phone for 15 minutes. They said her bill went up because she was late. They told her how much to pay and she sent it in. Now they won't leave her alone and keep asking for more money. This company is worse than people who try to trick you.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Midnight Velvet's online payment system. When I logged into my account, I noticed that my balance showed as zero, which prevented me from making any payments online. I tried to resolve the issue by sending a certified letter to the company, requesting that they fix the account information so I could pay online. Unfortunately, my request was not fulfilled, and to make matters worse, my friend Ginny's account was also affected by the same issue.

I reached out to Midnight Velvet's collection department to try and resolve the issue, but was told that I could not make payments online for Ginny's account either. This left me feeling frustrated and confused, as I was unable to make payments for either account due to changes that Midnight Velvet had made to my payment method.

To make matters worse, both Midnight Velvet and Ginny began calling me repeatedly, demanding payment for the accounts. This only added to my frustration, as I felt that the issue was not my fault, but rather a result of the company's poor customer service and collections practices.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Midnight Velvet. The company's lack of attention to detail and poor communication left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy online retailer.

I recently placed an order for 12 Duffle Bags with personalized names on them from Midnight Velvet. The delivery was supposed to arrive on November 18th, but I only received 4 bags on the 19th. To my dismay, one of the bags had someone else's order in it. I have been waiting every day for the remaining bags to arrive, but they are nowhere to be found. Fed Ex claims that they have delivered the bags, but I have not received them yet.

I have tried calling customer service, but it has been a terrible experience. Even talking to a supervisor did not help me resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Midnight Velvet. I will never order from them again once I get this situation sorted out. The 12 bags cost me over $389.00, and they will not credit me anything. They claim that they cannot credit shipping or processing fees. They did not offer me anything to keep me as a customer, so they lost a customer who would have spent a lot of money with them.

I highly recommend that you do not order from Midnight Velvet. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not care about their customers. I have had a terrible experience with them, and I do not want anyone else to go through the same thing.

So, I got this email from Midnight Velvet saying that I'm a gold member because I always pay my bills on time. I was feeling pretty good about myself, you know? But then, life happened and I was a little late on my payment - just seven days! And boy, did they come down hard on me. They messed up my credit and everything, but they didn't even bother to let me know what was going on. I only found out because I got an email saying I needed to make a down payment on an order.

I was so confused and frustrated. I spent hours on the phone with them, but all they did was pass the buck. I mean, come on! They called me a gold member and then treated me like garbage. I've been shopping at Midnight Velvet for a few years now and I gotta say, those folks who complain about them just don't know what they're talking about. Midnight Velvet has always been super nice to me and I've always been happy with the quality of their clothes and other stuff. I just put in my second Christmas order and Elizabeth was so nice to me. She even told me about some really great sales they had going on. Of course I ordered some of the stuff that was on sale! We had a really nice chat and she wished me a Merry Christmas. Everyone at Midnight Velvet has always been really nice to me and they've always helped me out when I had questions.

I give Midnight Velvet a 5-star rating and I'll always order from them. Their stuff is great and their people are even better!

I ain't never bought nothin' from Midnight Velvet, but I read all them reviews and I gotta say somethin'. As a business owner myself, I know that you gotta respond to all them reviews, good or bad. If you don't say nothin', it makes it seem like all them bad things is true. And if they is true, then you gotta speak up and make it right. You had years to fix them mistakes, so why ain't you doin' nothin'? You could at least send an email or make a phone call or somethin'. Maybe even give 'em a free gift or somethin' to make it right.

I ain't gonna let my family, friends, or employees shop from Midnight Velvet if they ain't gonna fix their mistakes. Me and my husband are the only ones who respond to complaints and stuff, 'cause we know that without customers, we ain't got no business. All them business owners out there better remember that.

I had a pretty wild experience with Midnight Velvet recently. It all started in early November when I got a notification that an account had been opened with my credit. Naturally, I was pretty freaked out and immediately contacted Midnight Velvet to see what was going on. They told me that I didn't have an account with them, which was a relief.

But then, on November 13th, 2019, I received an email saying that my order was on its way. I was devastated because I had not ordered anything from Midnight Velvet and I had never applied for credit with them. I was really confused and didn't know what to do.

Eventually, I found out that my neighbor had actually purchased the items. I was relieved that it wasn't some kind of scam, but I was still pretty upset. I mean, how did Midnight Velvet get my social security number? And why did the order have my first name but my neighbor's last name? We live in the same building, but different apartments. It just didn't make any sense.

When my neighbor contacted Midnight Velvet to try and sort things out, they told her that they had a lot of new employees. I mean, what does that even mean? How does that explain anything? And why didn't they notice that the information on the order didn't match up with the information on my credit report?

To make matters worse, when I tried to leave a review about my experience on their website, they deleted it! I couldn't believe it. So, I've attached a screenshot of what happened after I submitted my review.

All in all, I would say that my experience with Midnight Velvet was pretty frustrating. I think it's important for people to be really careful with their credit and to watch out for scammers. You never know what kind of weird stuff might happen!

But when I called customer service, they told me that none of the items had been replaced. I spent almost an hour on the phone with them, and they still couldn't fix the problem. They said that they were going to credit my account for all the items, but when the credit finally showed up, it was thirty dollars short because of some "restocking fee." What a load of baloney!

She was a mature African American lady who was really polite and tried to help me out. But the other two were useless. One of them created a whole new order for me, even though I had already approved and received the initial order. And get this: because of the new order, they were going to charge me an extra twenty dollars for shipping! What a rip-off.

I tried to get everything sorted out, but it was like trying to pass a law in Congress. It was just too much of a hassle. So I said forget it. The only good thing about the whole experience was that one customer service rep who actually knew how to do her job. She understood that without customers, there wouldn't be any business. Midnight Velvet could learn a thing or two from her.

I recently bought a Carita wig from Midnight Velvet using my credit card on November 2, 2020. However, after receiving the product, I was not satisfied with it and decided to return it. I contacted the company and was advised to use their return label and RMA # to return the product. But, after making several calls, I was given conflicting information about how I would receive my refund.

One representative told me that I would receive a check in the mail for $65.54, while another representative stated that I would receive credit to my bank visa card for the same amount. I was also informed that it would take 28 to 30 days before the refund would be processed and in my account. However, after waiting for 30 days, I still had not received my refund.

When I contacted the company again on March 8, 2021, I was told that the refund had been sent out by mail, but it had been returned to my bank visa account. I informed the representative that I had not received the refund and was promised that I would receive it soon. However, the company did not keep their promise and did something counterproductive and rotten.

I had paid a $40.00 payment and only wanted what was rightfully owed to me. But, the company representatives continued to say that they would refund me $65.54. The last representative I spoke to informed me that I owed them a 38% restocking fee, a $10.00 late fee, $7.95 for the label, and an additional $1.82, which totaled to $38.32.

I mentioned that I did not receive any return product information, only the return label. The representative referred me to the middle of the catalog, under terms & agreement, where the return information was supposedly located. However, I found no information or instructions on how to return an unwanted item. This is deceitful and rotten.

In conclusion, my experience with Midnight Velvet has been disappointing and frustrating. The company's representatives gave me conflicting information about my refund and did not keep their promise to refund me. Additionally, the lack of clear instructions on how to return an item is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

When the new items arrived, I was pleased to see that they were in perfect condition. The umbrella is sturdy and the shoes are comfortable and stylish. I've received many compliments on both.

I never said they could send it to me and I'm not happy about it. I won't be buying from them again and you should be careful too!

Well, not so much. See, someone stole one of these catalogs from my mother-in-law and used the code to open a line of credit and buy almost $800 worth of stuff. But when we called customer service to report the fraud, they tried to make it seem like it was our fault! Can you believe that? And to top it off, the inquiry showed up on our credit report. I mean, come on, Midnight Velvet, that's just shady. It's like they're preying on the elderly or something. So, my advice to you is to stay away from this place.
