The bookcase, once I got it all set up, was really great. But man, let me tell ya, the instructions for putting it together were a real pain in the you-know-what. It's like they expect everyone to be a pro at this stuff, but not all of us are DIY experts, ya know? It's frustrating when the folks who write these instructions forget that not everyone has their level of know-how.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the end result was totally worth it. The bookcase looks awesome in my living room and it's super sturdy. Finally, when I managed to put the piece together, the holes were all messed up and broken. I couldn't even reach the company to complain, so I decided to just give up and chuck it in the landfill. Definitely not worth the cash I shelled out for it.

Only thing was, one of the chest of drawers had a mark on the inside, but it's all good since it's on the inside. Putting together all the furniture was a breeze with the clear instructions. I went for solid wood because I reckon it'll hold up better than that laminated MDF stuff. When I saw and touched the wood, I knew this furniture would last for ages. The price I paid for it is about the same as what you'd shell out for laminated MDF at those fancy furniture stores.

If you're lookin' to catch some Z's on your bedroom floor for a good few weeks, then go ahead and buy a bed from Mercers! I'm tellin' ya, it's been a right nightmare dealin' with these guys. We did all our research beforehand, thinkin' they were a proper professional company that would deliver what we ordered. Boy, were we wrong!

After waitin' a solid 2 weeks for delivery, guess what showed up? Not the bed we ordered, that's for sure! But hey, no worries, we thought. We'll just get the driver to swing back 'round and collect it before he heads back to Rotherham. Well, that was wishful thinkin' 'cause it didn't happen.

We weren't too concerned though, 'cause we figured Mercers would sort it out. But oh boy, were we mistaken! When we contacted their office, they just brushed us off and said we were mistaken. Can you believe that? They had the audacity to suggest that maybe the manufacturer changed the spec and that we should just add some bolts ourselves. Like, seriously? Drill into the bed and magically transform it into the completely different bed we actually ordered? No thanks!

So there we were, stuck without a bed, bein' told by Mercers that we had to wait another 2-3 weeks 'til they were in the area. Talk about inconvenience! We weren't too thrilled about that, so we asked for a refund. But nope, they wouldn't give us our money back until they collected the bed, which wouldn't be for another 3 weeks. Can you believe it? They had our money for a grand total of 6 weeks!

They said they'd sort out a courier, so I stayed in all day waitin' for the collection. And what do ya know? The collection never happened! So now we've wasted not one, but two whole days dealin' with Mercers' incompetence. And let me tell ya, we've made countless attempts to have a civil conversation and find a solution that works for both parties, but they just don't seem to care.
