Business expansion line of credit
Walter Trock and Michael Lanza are working with Genie Investments NV; David Hughes, to inform borrowers there is a Business Expansion Line of Credit or a BELOC. I wired them an upfront $7,800 "due diligence" fee and then after informing me I was approved for a 3 million dollar loan. I signed a Bridge Loan agreement. The bridge loan was 20% of the 3 million which I then needed to wire Genie Investments NV prepaid interest. I wired over $80K to Genie in the beginning of 2023. Until till now I haven't received one cent of the loan I was promised. These 2 companies went silent and I haven't heard anything. After months of lying, Michael Lanza tries to divert borrowers by saying there is a delay in funding due to the "capital provider" however, no name of any capital provider is given and McMann commercial lending has gone silent. They NEVER offered a refund or a recourse because of this "mistake" with the capital provider.

We had several phone conversations in August, and the McMann team convinced me that they could support our project. I sent them a fee of $7,750 through a wire transfer. But then I found out that the information they gave me was false and misleading, which is why I made the payment.
On October 28, 2022, I emailed McMann to ask for a refund because of the false and misleading information. On November 1, 2022, McMann replied and said that their documents "clearly state" that they don't give refunds. But before I sent them the $7,750, we never received or signed any document that said that. McMann didn't deny that the information they gave me was false and misleading. My bank, *** Fargo, NA, is also trying to get the money back, but they haven't been successful so far.
