My 19 y/o son, Joshua, was found dead in Amsler Park/McGregor, Tx on Feb. 16, 2006.
McGregor PD did NOT investigate.

It's been 7+ years. You wouldn't believe what I've learned, but not with the cooperation of McGregor! He didn't die of an overdose.

I don't think this is the place to complain about something like that. You need to go over their head. Mayor, Senate, something. Investigate yourself on WHO to contact that is above them. Take it to your local news media and see if they would be interested in some investigating theirself.
But depending on how your son died plays a big factor in investigation. If he died of an overdose or something to that nature, then there will be not investigation. Was there an autopsy performed? What did it say?
