We purchased an Evolution golf cart from Matts Naples location. The staff was helpful in selecting a cart that fit our requirements. We were pleased that this was not a high pressure experience and our salesperson was efficient in answering a number a questions we had regarding warranty, maintenance and cart performance. The cart price was very reasonable considering standard equipment fitted on the model we chose.

We bought a 2022 Classic 4 PRO Evolution Blue cart. Prior to purchase, we exchanged messages with Matt. He responded in a timely manner and directed us to the Naples location where he had inventory for the cart we wanted to purchase. Caroline was extremely helpful with the purchase along with Miki.

Prices are very competitive, the carts have a classy style to them, and they provide free shipping. We fully intend to market Matt's Custom Golf Carts in our new Fort Myers community.

I can not tell you enough great things about Matt's Custom Golf Carts, I shopped around to different places and learned more about golf carts than I ever needed to Know. Anthony at the Naples store and his manager treated me with respect and were very patient with all the questions I asked. They did not pressure me in any way and explained every detail about the golf cart we purchased. My wife and I can honestly say that it was the right decision to go to Matt's Custom Golf Carts.

We moved to the area and was looking for a golf cart. I went to several other golf cart businesses but finally found Matts Custom Carts on Metro Pkwy. Went in several times and each time was greeted promptly and directed to the showroom where we were allowed to look around as well as ask questions and get educated on some of the new features that we did not have on our old cart. I have gone back a few times now and each time they are eager to help me with any of my new questions as well as a test drive. Matt's custom golf cars built me a custom built golf car. I still am in shock how beautiful Matt and his team built it for me. His office girls not only are knowledgeable but take their job serious and are very polite. When Matt was showing me out back in the mechanic bay I was in utter shock on not only how organized it was inside and out. He has from what I could see 5 mechanics and everyone was working very hard and proud of their work. Matt also showed me the process that they work in, I won't give away all his secrets. You won't be disappointed in your build. Just be patient with them, if something is on back order due to the virus it's not their fault. Gotta go so I can go enjoy my new Rose (golf cart)

We had the pleasure of Meeting the owners and their amazing staff. My husband and I had gone to a lot of different dealers and this was by far, hands down, the BEST Golf Cart store around. They are very polite, they wear masks when dealing with customers, they have inventory and lots of carts to choose from. If you want a specific cart, they will order it for you. We purchased a 2021 Evolution and can't wait to get it. They have 2 stores and we went to both just out of curiosity. You must go and check them out you won't be disappointed.

My family and I purchased a Golf Car from them and I was so blown out of the water on the amazing service I told them I would not only recommend them to all my family and friends but I would share the AZAZING SERVICE I got all over social media. From what I gather, they are a Family owner and operated business. You get to personally deal with the owners. They take their time and answer all of your questions. (My husband had a million) and go over every detail. The girls in the office are so sweet. I think our dog loves the golf car more than us, lol... If I could give them 20 stars I would! You won't be disappointed by going there. Even if your just starting in the adventure of "looking" for a golf car, Go there 1st. I promise you, you will go back and back...

I purchased a golf cart from Matt's almost a month ago. The cart was in stock and I was told they had to check it over and clean it, they told me two weeks. At this time there were 28 carts in front of me. I stopped in the store about a week later and was told there were only 8 cart in front of me. I called them two weeks later and was told me cart was still not ready, I told them this is not satisfactory to me. I received a call at 5:00pm last night to tell me my car would be delivered today, I have waited most of the day and no cart. I called the store and they told me I was contacted at 5:45pm last night and told my cart would not fit on the truck. This is not true, I did not receive any additional calls from this company, and the really frustrating thing is I live less then a mile from the store. I will not recommend this company and will advise you look at other companies.

This is my second time purchasing a golf cart from Matt's Custom Carts and let me tell you, it was the best experience I had with any staff! They are very knowledgeable, explain all the features and answered every question I asked! I have a golf cart store a half mile from my house and been there a few times and I left feeling like I was bothering them. I never got that from Matt's store, everyone was happy to help you or answer questions you have. The whole process of picking out the Golf Cart and applying for financing was very smooth and quick! The store is huge and as tons of golf carts to choose from and tons of accessories. I purchased an Evolution Pro 4 Plus and what a sweet looking cart! It has all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Their customer service is number 1 in my book as well as the mechanics. Their customization is clean and well fit to the Carts they sell. You couldn't ask for a better golf cart dealer than Matt's Custom Carts. I have been to several dealers close by and the long trip to Matt's is worth it!

If you are in the market for a golf cart, GO to Matt's Custom Golf Carts! They have two locations (Ft. Myers and Naples). This review is about Ft. Myers.

We are new Florida residents, were looking for a cart, received a mail coupon book, saw the add for Matt's, and checked out the company via Facebook. We watched a FB video review highlighting the Evolution Classic 4 Plus and Pro carts giving the cart features, the many available colors, base price, and store location information. And, they had 2022 carts! After watching the review, we knew we had to visit a Matt's location.

Off we went to the Ft. Myers location where we were politely greeted by Jessica. Who then introduced us to Anna (who I just want to say is very kind and professional, knows the cart features and explains them, guided us to the available carts, and even told us if we didn't see what we wanted they had a truck of carts arriving the next day ... bottom line is She Knows Her Carts).

We made our cart selection and decided to do a little customization. Oh, but wait, there is more, once again the Matt's Custom Golf Cart staff (Anna and Jessica) kicked into gear helping us make seat color selections, again explaining the process, timeline of delivery, warranty, etc.

Go to Matt's if you want 5+ Star Custom Service, A large selection of carts to choose from and Staff Knowledge of those carts! You will be happy!

BUYER BEWARE*** better hope you don't have problems after they get your money and you're out the door. Lots of good looking carts in the show room and charging BIG money for all the bells and whistles with promise for quality - they got me for over $28,000 .. but the cart is not mechanically sound. They build a good looking cart, but mechanically it's sub-par and it has all kinds of mechanical issues. We've spent a lot of time on the side of the road broken down. It broke down the first day after we received it from being built, they gave us recommendations on fixes and after we kept having issues and demanded it be repaired, it took over a month to get them out to pick it up for repair (and that was only after multiple calls and emails to the owner and staff). Really - 30k and you can't get a running cart or it fixed without threats. You would think they would have been out next day, picked it up, fixed it fast, and had it back to us to quickly after selling such a big ticket item. To make matters worse they no-call, no-showed me on pick-up. Once they finally picked it up our cart spent the first week in line to get worked on and after two weeks in the shop came back and we continue to have the same problems with the cart breaking down and just stopping /a short / losing power? All I know is that it broke down the first day back on the road. Maybe a fluke so we tried again using it July 4th weekend downtown .. and if you happened to be downtown that weekend you probably saw us on the side of the road with four of our children on the back and then having to tow the cart ourselves back home (again). This place is growing really fast, with the new second location in Naples, so my guess is they have gotten a little over their head and they're selling stuff they just really can't support or stand behind. I've asked for a full refund. The cart is dangerous when it loses complete power in traffic and even worse when pulling out into traffic leaving you exposed to oncoming traffic and no way to get you or your family out of the way of oncoming cars.

Got me an Evolution Forrester last year from Matt's Custom Golf Carts Inc. But dang, it's been in their shop like 5 times already. And now it's got less juice than ever before. Today, it only took us a mile before it died on us. We just crossed state road 80 too, so it's lucky we didn't get into an accident or something. I'm really frustrated with their customer service. Can someone help me out with this?

Matts custom golf carts had my golf cart for 2 weeks to fix a problem they said they fixed. It's been sitting for a week and they keep saying they can't deliver it like they promised. The problem was their fault. I bought it new in August and it's been nothing but problems. They refused to fix it many times. After I bugged them enough, they finally agreed to fix it but now they can't tell me when they'll deliver it. I'm really mad they don't communicate and now I want my money back.

I bought a brand new golf cart from Matt's Custom Golf Carts in June. But within two months, it started turning off while driving. Obviously, something was wrong with it. So on September 13th, I had them come pick it up. They had it until October 23rd, but nothing was done on it. So on the 19th, I called them and told them I was going to come pick it up. I didn't want it left out in the weather for no reason. I told them I would keep it at my house until the parts came in. Then on the 21st, they called me and said it was fixed, even though I was told parts weren't coming until the 22nd. So I asked them how they fixed it, and they told me they took a part off another golf cart that was there to be worked on.

I have a warranty for my golf cart, but instead of using new parts, they put on used parts. I don't think you can do that, let alone tell the owner what you did. On October 23rd, I rented a trailer to come pick it up. They said it was fixed, and they supposedly put a new/used battery management system in it. It seemed like it worked at the shop, but after I got it home, the next time I took it out, it turned off on us again.

I think we were sold a lemon cart. It was brand new with no miles on it, and after 350 miles, it doesn't run right. Hopefully, they do the right thing and get this figured out. I filed a complaint with Evolution in Ocala already, but I think Matt's Custom Carts needs to be held responsible. They're selling and working on the carts, and if they don't know the correct way to diagnose and fix the golf carts they're selling, maybe they shouldn't sell them. I'm an unhappy customer.
