MandM Direct MandM Direct Review: Poor Customer Service and Unfair Returns Policy

I just gotta say, MandM Direct is not impressing me right now. I was gonna give them zero stars, but I guess one will have to do. Lemme tell you what happened: I paid for a returns label in advance, but decided to keep all the stuff I ordered. No biggie, right? I've done it before with other companies and never had a problem. But now MandM is saying that I can only use the label for stuff I bought at the same time as the label. What kinda nonsense is that? It's like getting a stamp at the post office and then not being able to use it on a different letter later. I didn't see nothin' on their website about that, but apparently it's hidden away in some FAQs somewhere. So I asked for my money back, but they straight-up refused. They only took ?1.99 from me, but it's the principle of the thing, ya know?

Their response was so childish and unprofessional, too. I mean, I read their other reviews and people say they're just laughing at you when you have a problem. And it's starting to feel like that's true. I'm pretty sure what they're doing is against the law, too. I know there's rules about online purchases and stuff, and they're definitely not following them. I'm not just gonna let them treat me like dirt and get away with it. I've spent a lot of money with them over the years, and this is how they treat me? No way. I'm gonna fight back and show them that they can't mess with me or anyone else like this.

The worst part is that they don't seem to care about their customers at all. Other reviews I've read say their customer service is terrible. Except for on Feefo, but I don't trust those reviews 'cause they're controlled by the company. So I'm warning everybody: stay away from MandM Direct if you don't wanna get ripped off and treated like garbage.

MandM Direct MandM Direct Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Communication

Yo, so I've been a big fan of MandM Direct for years now. I just made an order for my bro's bday gift, but it took a while to ship and I had to email customer service twice to get an update. They finally got back to me saying that my order wouldn't be fulfilled due to a flood in their warehouse. Not gonna lie, some notification about this would have been nice. So now I had to scramble to find another gift since my original plan fell through. A few days later, they email me saying they're back up and running after the flood. Cool, but why didn't they tell me about my cancelled order?

I shot them an email today asking if they were doing any GWG (good will gestures) for customers who had their orders cancelled. I wasn't just inconvenienced - I straight up thought my order was gonna ship until I had to email twice to get an update. But when I talked to rep Harry, he said no GWG since the flood was unavoidable. When I pointed out that I hadn't been notified about my order being cancelled, he tried to shift the blame to my spam folder or blocking their emails (which is just not true). Then Jeanette chimes in and says the flood was unavoidable again.

As a business owner myself, I get that unexpected stuff can happen, but it's all about how you handle it. MandM Direct just dropped the ball here. Loyalty is hard to win, easy to lose. And they definitely lost mine with this whole situation.

MandM Direct My Terrible Experience with MandM Direct's Returns Policy: A Warning to Customers

I want to tell you guys about my experience with MandM Direct online store. It was not very good, to say the least.

I had ordered a lot of items as I wanted to try them on at home and then return the ones I did not like. When the items arrived, they came in two huge boxes but there was only one returns label. I checked their website and found out that each parcel of returns is limited to an insurance payout of ?50 if it was lost or damaged by their courier. But I needed to return merchandise worth ?800.

I emailed their customer services to ask for clarification, but they accused me of being a trader who was selling their items on. This was not true at all as I had no intention of selling their items. I was just a regular customer who wanted to return some items. I had to write a complaint to them and finally got an apology from their customer services manager who also acknowledged that I was not selling on their items. However, they told me that I had to pay OVER ?50 postage to return the unwanted items.

There was also an issue of under-refunding when they tried to refund me ?15 less than they owed. It was a hassle to make them pay the correct amount as they kept questioning it.

Overall, their returns policy was a complete misrepresentation of a "no quibble" and "hassle-free" returns service. It ended up costing me over ?60 and about six hours of my time. I will not be using their services again.
