Magic Roofing and Siding Inc. did our roof replacement last year and just recently installed aluminum capping. They were really easy to work with, and their prices were fair. The work they did was of good quality.

New roof instaled April 2022. The crew arived early worked all day; polite, hard working and cleaned up nicely. Got a complete GAF system for a good price. *** is available and responsive for any questions. Highly recommended.

Magic Roofing did a great job on my roof and gutter replacement. The workers were professional and friendly. The company salesman walked us through the whole process and taught us about the products used. Amazing company! I would definitely use them for other jobs!

I wasn't too happy with the management and sales, but the craftsmen were great. The clean-up wasn't perfect, as there were lots of nails left on my driveway and lawn. They didn't replace the gutters on the same day as the roof, and unfortunately, we had a heavy rainstorm that night. The water pouring down from the roof destroyed my flowers and caused water to get into the basement. Overall, the whole project felt like a nightmare to me. I won't be using Magic Roofing and Siding Inc. again.

Magic Roofing was very professional, both in the sales meeting we had, as well as when the roofers came to do the job. Everything was well explained to us, all of our questions were answered and the estimate given was fair. When the crew came to do the work, they were here for over 12 hours the first day! They cleaned up so well you could barely find any debris anywhere. They did a great job; we love our new roof. I would highly recommend this company.

Nightmare. I've been dealing with this company for 11 months. *** said he would come and take care of the service that his company was hired and paid for. I called his number besides the office and no return calls. Extremely disappointing and I've been waiting long enough. I'm done with the excuses. He had no problem taking all the money. I would never recommend them to anyone. Before signing the contract, *** told me he guarantees his work, well he lies, not a man of his word. ?

I would definitely recommend Magic Roofing and Siding! They were thorough throughout the whole process of our renovation from our initial call to completion of the project. *** and *** and the staff were professionals through and through. They took the time to listen to our concerns and expectations and addressed them with clarity and honesty throughout the renovation process. We never felt pressured into any upselling like other competitors usually do. It felt like they always prioritized our best interests, and the experience was so refreshing! All the Magic employees seem to take great pride in their work, as if they were working on their own home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was the best I've ever experienced and kept both my wife and me at ease. During the last storm in NJ, the cap blew off my roof that was installed by Magic. I called Lewis at least 10 times, but he hasn't called back or fixed the problem. He's a liar!

Had a new roof installed in June , and it's already March , but I still haven't received the 50-year roof warranty that was promised by the company. I've called them so many times, but they just keep giving me the runaround.

I got my roof done in June (they completely tore it off down to the plywood). The estimate and final bill both said "includes all permits". So, I decided to check the city's online permit portal recently, and guess what? No permit was pulled for my roof. Funny thing is, I noticed that other units nearby had their roofs worked on by different companies, and they all had permits. When I contacted Luis A, the owner, he simply said that no permit was needed. Well, that's not right. Now, I have a problem because Magic Roofing & Siding didn't bother to file a permit for the work they did, which is a breach of our contract. The contract clearly stated that the price included all permits. I need them to file a permit for my roof, and if any changes are needed to make it up to code, they better do it without charging me. I already paid for this roof through a financing company, and as far as I know, Magic Roofing has received the full payment.

We hired Magic Roofing to fix our Yankee gutters on our house. They gave us a quote for replacing 4 sides of Yankee Gutters with rubber roof, putting in new drainage connected to downspouts, and swapping out any rotten wood. The workers came and changed the rubber on the gutters, but we didn't see them replace any rotten wood. Not even two weeks later, the gutters started leaking again in the exact same spot as before. The gutters are draining back towards the house and leaking through the soffit, and maybe even behind the brick or siding. The owner of Magic Roofing yelled at me on the phone, threatening to take me to court for the money I owe on the job. I told him I wouldn't pay the remaining balance until they fixed all the leaks. He promised to come and inspect the work, but he never showed up on multiple occasions. Right now, we just want the job done properly to prevent any more damage, but it seems like Magic Roofing doesn't want to or can't do that.

I signed a contract with Magic Roofing and Siding Inc. on 11/16, but nobody gave me a timeline for the work. Finally, on 3/19, I received a call from them saying that the crew would come on Monday, 3/22, at 9:45. I texted them twice, at 10:45, but nobody showed up. The owner responded, saying that he was testing his workers for COVID. I understood, but my wife had to stay home instead of going to work. He even sent me the positive test result, which I think is a violation of HIPPA (4/2). I texted him again, asking for a timeline, and he said it would be next Friday, 4/9. However, they didn't call or show up on that day either. Finally, at 10:22 PM, he texted me saying they would come on Monday, 4/12. I texted him at 7:20 to confirm, but he said they couldn't come due to rain and rescheduled for 4/13. Again, they didn't call or show up. I texted at 10:04, and he replied that the window guy was sick, so they had to come on Saturday, 4/16. I texted and called just to make sure they would come, and a woman in the office confirmed it (4/17). They finally came for the installation, but they were short 2 out of the 15 windows. Additionally, one window was the wrong size, and another one was broken. The installer said he had informed the owner about what was needed, but I can't get a call back from them regarding when the job will be completed (1 month ago).

I made a deal with Magic Roofing. They were supposed to start working on 11/3. The roofers came and left because they claimed there was a layer of metal on my roof that required special tools to remove. I called the company to ask how this could happen when they never even got out of the van. The salesperson said they would call me back. After waiting for 2 hours, I reached out again and the salesperson admitted that he had underestimated the cost of the job. He told me I would have to pay an additional *** in order for them to start the work. I reminded him that we had a signed contract. He then had the owner call me and the owner said that because he would only make 300 on the job, it would be better for him to walk away. The owner also claimed that my signed contract meant nothing because he hadn't signed the work. I tried to explain to him that if I had signed the contract but could only pay a portion, would that be acceptable. He said the only way to get the job done was if I paid him more money. I told him that I had used his finance company, so going to another company would negatively impact my credit rating and future rates.

In October , Magic Roofing put a new roof on my house. The owner of Magic Roofing was late, and I had to call them multiple times to find out why there was a delay. The job started a whole day late and took three days from Thursday to Monday to complete, with the whole weekend in between. Some parts of the job were never finished. Additionally, the contractor made a mess of my neighbors' roofs and property, but they never took care of it or cleaned up, even though the job contract stated that they would place a dumpster in front of my house and do a magnetic sweep afterwards. Instead, they walked on my neighbors' roof throughout the entire job and threw all the trash off their roof or right in front of my house, causing damage to the front of my home and my neighbors' home. The owner verbally harassed me and even threatened me when he didn't realize I was paying with financing. However, as soon as he realized he was paid, he stopped responding to my questions about why there were still several issues with my roof. I'm scared that this person might physically retaliate, and I really don't need that. I'm considering whether I should file a police report as well.

George from Magic came out to my home on 11/4 and checked my roof through ***. He said I had a leak from my shingles and replacing them would fix it. On 11/10, I wanted to cancel because they had a $2000 off promo they wouldn't give me. George said I couldn't back out since I signed the contract and had three days to cancel. On 11/19, one of the workers stepped through my ceiling and knocked it down. When I called George, he tried to say the ceiling just fell and that someone was overseeing the job. When I went to find the supposed overseer, the workers said no one was there and the person left. I told them to stop working until someone competent arrived. The supposed owner, Luis, was very rude and told me to let them continue. I told him no work would be done until he gave me written assurance that they would compensate me for the issues and damages. Luis gave me a contract showing $1000 off, no charge for plywood, and payment only after everything was done and my ceiling was fixed. Once I got the new contract and he showed up, I let them keep working. I waited for the company to call me when the work was finished so I could check it. My credit card company contacted me on 12/18, saying the company charged my account the full total of $6600.00. On 11/23, 11/30, and 12/15, I asked for proof that the work was done and questioned the unauthorized charges. I also sent an email on 12/27. On 12/25, I told Luis my roof was still leaking. Luis came on 01/06 and said the counterflashing and flat roof were causing the leak in the same spot they supposedly fixed. I pointed out that step flashing, aluminum custom flashing, and pipe flashing collars were in my contract, but he won't honor it.
