Longbridge Financial was the servicer of my prior reverse mortgage and I liked their reporting. I found the financial terms of a new reverse mortgage with them to be superior to other opportunities. *** was a terrific account person on securing the new mortgage, always informed and courteous.

I contacted a number of Reverse Mortgage companies but I landed on Longbridge. *** was very helpful and very knowledgeable as I had a number of Zoom sessions where he really helped me understand reverse mortgages and how they would benefit me. Once I decided to go ahead the process went smoothly and *** prediction of the time to complete the process was very accurate. I would highly recommend Longbridge as there customer service was excellent.

After interviewing two other Reverse Mortgage Professionals I went with ***, with Longbridge-Financial. His knowledge of the products and the process were far and away superior to the other two. No stumbling around when my "helper" asked him technical difficult questions. He has worked both in the corporate office and as a CRMP for Longbridge-Financial which was helpful during the Underwriting process. Longbridge is a crisp professional LLC that knows their business well and can take you through the process...successfully...to get your Reverse Mortgage. Having an experienced, highly knowledgeable, kind, charming and sometimes humorous personality to guide me through was invaluable. Highly recommend.

I think they are very close to the worst mortgage company I have ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. They took my insurance money I received for a new roof and in spite of the fact thet said in writing . . If I overnighted all paper work and enclosed a prepaid overnight for them, they would overnight my money back to me. They have held my money in their account for approximately 10 days now and said they will overnight it once they cut me a check which coukd be up to 10 more days. In the mean time, my roof still leaks into my house and I can't do anything about it even though insurance has paid for it already. It is my insurance, I pay for it, I pay the taxes, it us my house. . I am responsible for upkeep and Longbridge is holding my money so they can make money on it while I set pans out under the leaks!"

Long bridge financial was not my first or second company that I contacted about a reverse mortgage however I am so grateful that I did not give up and gave them a call the person I spoke with was very precise and explained all of the questions that I had that totally lined up with what I was told in the required counseling session and the state laws, my experience with the other companies were they basically were not that clear or play word games semantics When it came time to sign all of the documents there were no hidden items that I was not informed of everything stayed consistent from beginning to end. The loan officer I had went strictly by the book, the professionalism, the courtesy and integrity was exceptional. When doing business transparency is the key for building a trusting business relationship even if the information giving will not lead that customer to do busy with your company. I feel Longbridge is a great example of transparency and integrity.

The job of this "business" is to "service" ***. That is, if you are the homeowner, you service your own loan. They have a tendency to lose items they request form the homeowner. Also, if the homeowner send in something, that is not correct, they do not contact the homeowner. the homeowner must contact them numerous times time see if the item was processed. In regards to teh ***, which is required every year, if it is not received in a certain time period they will call your loan. They claim they call homeowners to rectify situations, I can personally attest they don't. I have logs of every call made to my home.I personally have sent in an *** via ***, e-mail and upload, and they lost all three of them.When called, they claimed the certificate was received, then they found it in the wrong file. If I did not call, they were going to call the loan in about two weeks. I am amazed they have a 3.5 star rating. This "business" is designed to trip up homeowners with teh goal of calling the loan. You constantly have to call them to make sure thye are doing their job. *** needs to investigate these people

If I could give more stars, I would - *** and Longbridge Financial LLC, have given me an ideal reverse mortgage with a low interest rate, FHA approval (guaranteed no value loss below $0 for my heirs), and an upfront and easy to understand process I always felt comfortable with and in control of. But this is what I would hope a great reverse mortgage company would offer (I was not disappointed, ever).What I didn't expect was the compassionate understanding, thorough walk-through, and attentive 24/7 service *** provided, from the very first email we shared. My situation proved to be challenging (it took over 8 months to finalize from start to finish), yet *** was upbeat, confident, straightforward, and utterly professional throughout the entire process, understanding my setbacks, redefining obscurities, and keeping me updated on every movement he made.I have nothing but great things to say about *** and Longbridge. I am a single mom who has had to be creative throughout my 24 years living in my home. I've faced bankruptcy and job loss and was always, as I have realized, under the pressure of losing my home. I lived just on the cusp of 'making it.Now, for the first time in my life, I KNOW, I have a roof over my head for as long as I want it. The security of this knowledge is priceless, and I couldn't have it without *** and his team of professionals. The comfort is unimaginable, yet, I have it!
