Lifestyle Home Products I give Lifestyle Home Products 2 stars because the windows look good

I give Lifestyle Home Products 2 stars because the windows look good. They replaced five windows and some metal capping, but it took them two days to install because of an order issue. When they installed the capping, there was a gap between the vinyl siding and the framing, and the cap looks like it was trimmed poorly. They agreed to remove some decorative pieces, but it was a challenge because they didn't have a tall enough ladder. There is a communication gap between sales and customer service, so it's hard to get a straight answer. I'm still waiting for them to fix the capping deficiency. The product is nice, but everything else was terrible.

Lifestyle Home Products I needed a new door for my basement, so I called Lifestyle Home Products

I needed a new door for my basement, so I called Lifestyle Home Products. I've used them before, but wasn't totally happy. They came to give me a quote on March 13th. The salesman measured, but said the installer might need to measure too. We waited for the installer and he measured too. They said the door would come in October, but then it got delayed. They finally called in November and said they were coming. The installers came, measured, and said the door wouldn't fit. They left and called a few days later to say the door had to be remade and wouldn't be ready until February. I hope they can do it right this time. I don't want to miss work for nothing again.

Lifestyle Home Products I've been talkin' to the sales and admin folks at Lifestyle Home Products 'cause I bought one of their sunrooms for a whopping $70,000

I've been talkin' to the sales and admin folks at Lifestyle Home Products 'cause I bought one of their sunrooms for a whopping $70,000. But let me tell ya, if their sunrooms are anything like their ability to return messages or voicemails, I'm gettin' real worried. I ain't the type to bug people with a bunch of messages, I just leave a quick one with my info and question. I expect someone to get back to me within two business days, but every time it takes two weeks or more. Even before I bought the sunroom, it was the same deal. I got a follow-up call after a sales visit and told 'em I'd been waitin' a month with no response, even though I emailed the sales person directly. She said she'd look into it and get back to me, but she never did. It took another two weeks before I heard from her. But when I do get 'em on the line or in person, they seem like they know what they're doin'. Still waitin' on a start date, so fingers crossed. I'll give a final review when it's all said and done.

Lifestyle Home Products Lifestyle Home Products was recommended to us by *** of Kitchener for a warranty repair on a busted window in our sunroom after

Lifestyle Home Products was recommended to us by *** of Kitchener for a warranty repair on a busted window in our sunroom after five years. I was shook when I found out that I had to pay a $300.00 "installation fee" for a warranty repair, but the window had to be replaced.

After waiting for a few weeks, we were given an installation date of May 27th, but shortly before that date we got a phone call saying that their installer had a "medical emergency" and that our install date would have to be rescheduled.

Later, in June, we were told that there had been a cancellation and that an installer would be able to complete our repair on June 18th. We rearranged our schedule, in order to accommodate the installer, but no one ever showed up. There were no phone calls or e-mails of explanation or anything else that a reasonable, customer-focused company would have provided, just a no show.

I e-mailed the customer service agent, Anya R., who had originally e-mailed me regarding the receipt of our $300.00 installation fee and her apologetic reply indicated that someone would be contacting us with a new installation date.

A week has since passed and I have heard nothing.

I phoned them this morning at 9:30 a.m. and left a message. I have not yet heard back.

Lifestyle Home Products In Feb2019 we bought a sun room and front door

In Feb2019 we bought a sun room and front door. It was all good until the pandemic came. We called many times in the spring of 2020 to get our front door fixed. They said someone would come after the pandemic was over for lock down, but nobody came. Now it's winter and our front door won't close properly. I have to tape it to keep out the cold. We paid 6000 for the door.

Lifestyle Home Products I bought a window from Lifestyle Home Products on August 18

I bought a window from Lifestyle Home Products on August 18. They installed it on December 6. The sales rep was Michael S. I paid $4,463 for it. The problem is that the window makes a really loud popping noise all the time. It's even worse when the sun shines on it in the morning. The company sent some technicians to check it out, but the popping sound is still there. I sent them some recordings to show them the problem, but they haven't gotten back to me since November .

Lifestyle Home Products I paid 5923.10 for our front door, but they put in the wrong one

I paid 5923.10 for our front door, but they put in the wrong one. The door they did put in was busted up. They said they'd fix it, but we want a whole new door. Plus, we're still waiting on a screen for our patio door. They took all our money, but can't give us a new date for when they'll fix it. They keep saying it's a "production issue". The owner won't give us a discount or tell us when it'll be fixed right. We gave them our cash in April and still nothing's been done. We want our money back or a discount.

Lifestyle Home Products I had a bad experience with Lifestyle Home Products

I had a bad experience with Lifestyle Home Products. I bought 2 sets of patio doors, but they leaked water and wind and didn't close properly since they were installed over a year ago. The lockdowns caused by covid 19 postponed the installation. Their techs came out many times and replaced many parts, but the doors still leak. The leaks caused damage to my hardwood flooring and substructure. The cost of the doors was $5950.00. The owner wants me to sign a waiver and not take any responsibility and waive all warranty. In return, they will add another set of storm doors. The warranty for their doors is "weatherproof," but the doors leak every time it rains and continue to damage my home. They have offered free storm doors if I waive all their liability. These issues need to be corrected before the installation of storm doors as they are in direct relation to the doors' damage and lack of weatherproofing.

Lifestyle Home Products We bought a motorized awning from Lifestyle Home Products about 4 years ago for $4500

We bought a motorized awning from Lifestyle Home Products about 4 years ago for $4500. I saw two small holes in the awning in June , and the stitching holes along the panels had rotted out. I contacted the company on June 28. It took until November to get someone to come out and look at it. When the technician finally came to remove the fabric, he said that the thread was rotting away (there is a 10-year warranty on the material). I contacted Lifestyle again on December 13, but the service manager said they would not honor the warranty. To replace it would cost $1500. We keep the awning rolled up most of the time, and we are away in the states for 5 months, so it is not exposed to weather most of the time. We are extremely disappointed in this company's response. We like to deal with Canadian products and companies, but we're not so sure now.

Lifestyle Home Products I recently got some new windows from Lifestyle Home Products for my whole house, which is four windows in total

I recently got some new windows from Lifestyle Home Products for my whole house, which is four windows in total. They said they were guaranteed, but one of the windows has a big crack in it that goes from the frame all the way up to almost the top. I called to get it fixed because it's new and guaranteed, but they said they don't cover glass and now they won't call me back. Nobody told me this when I was getting quotes or when I paid for the installation. It's really frustrating that they won't back up the most important part of their product, which they made themselves. I can't find any contact information to talk to someone higher up than the standard quote/booking line, and they won't call me back when I leave a message. I just want to talk to an owner, but it seems impossible to find any information to contact them.

Lifestyle Home Products I got my front door and back door from Lifestyle Home Products in July

I got my front door and back door from Lifestyle Home Products in July . They kept cancelling, but finally came in March to put them in. The front door is great, but the back door has a problem. We got an outward swing door instead of a sliding door, so the sil is in my kitchen. I ordered a white sil, but they put in a black one. I told them it was wrong, but they didn't listen. I called the office and they said they would fix it, but the manager called me the next day and said they wouldn't do anything. I asked for the right door or my old one back, but they won't answer my calls or emails.

Lifestyle Home Products Lifestyle Home Products built a roof over my back door and stairs, but they said they would keep the existing railing

Lifestyle Home Products built a roof over my back door and stairs, but they said they would keep the existing railing. Two measuring visits didn't change this promise. But when the installers came, they said they couldn't install the pillars and keep the railing. They told us to buy some railing and they would put them on. We called the company and the installers, but no one helped. We found railing kits, but the installers said they didn't have time to use them. Brad W., the installation manager, said the space wasn't enough for the railing, but we were responsible for the problem because we bought the kits. He promised $300 in compensation and said he mailed a check, but the email said it would take two weeks. I don't believe them. The materials cost $521.43, not including installation. Lifestyle should be responsible for the roofing project with a railing. I would pay $14,432.50 to their financing partner if they did it right.

Lifestyle Home Products Lifestyle Home Products was a bad choice for our window and door installation

Lifestyle Home Products was a bad choice for our window and door installation. We picked them because they seemed like a good company with lots of good reviews, even though they charged more than other companies. But it was a mistake. We've had lots of problems with leaks and damage to our siding, drywall, and flooring. The workmanship was really bad and we had to get it fixed multiple times. We even had another installer come in and they said the windows were installed wrong and not water tight. The Lifestyle installers covered up their mistakes and lied to us about them. We've told Lifestyle about all of this, but they haven't done anything about it. We're expecting a baby soon and we still can't get our home finished after 8 months.

Lifestyle Home Products I had a contract with Lifestyle Home Products on Dec 27th

I had a contract with Lifestyle Home Products on Dec 27th. They texted me on Tues May 17th to check the site next week and start digging on May 25th. They got electrical site approval and returned to digging on Wed Aug 10th. The electrician did the electrical set up on Aug 25th. However, my backyard was littered with debris. In mid-July, I noticed mice and chewing in the attic and got it assessed. They found out that a sunroom was to be built on the left side of the house, which I didn't use, so I didn't notice. They discovered large holes dug under the house where it had been left dug up around the sunroom area. Upon inspection, they found new rats nests in the crawl space under the house. They recommended blocking the attic and crawl space completely around the house as there seemed to be a large infestation. They delayed attic and crawl space insulation due to rats.

I was informed on August 31st that the installation would be at the end of October. On Sept 1, I complained about the timeline, mess in the backyard, lack of updates, and delays in projects due to not having a proper timeline. I was informed on October 15th that the installation would take place. However, rats and mice entered my home several times. I sent an email on October 5th detailing the problems and requesting reimbursement for my costs. Tammy Currell asked for photos and emails on October 11th for someone to come out and see the property on October 13th. Brad Whitley, the original cement pad contact, arrived on Oct.13th. He did a walk around and informed me that they might have some responsibility for the part they dug up but not the entire animal control costs, nor the crawl space holes that had to be filled from underneath. I felt dismissed, casual, and not overly concerned. I was not thrilled with the meeting nor felt at all heard. He asked me to send him the receipts for the work done and mentioned that he would have preferred I contact him, not the office.

I contacted them on Oct 19th for follow-up. Brad had a meeting on Oct 20th to discuss with the office. I resent the info with receipts and complaint to T. Currell. I requested updates on Oct 26th, Oct 29th, and Oct 30th, but there was no response. The installation was delayed until Nov 1, and there were no updates.

Lifestyle Home Products I went to Lifestyle Home Products to get a quote for a 4 Season Room and a 3 Season Room for my backyard and porch in March

I went to Lifestyle Home Products to get a quote for a 4 Season Room and a 3 Season Room for my backyard and porch in March . A guy named Mark Prudy came to my house in May to take measurements and gave me a quote for the backyard that was way too expensive. He also showed me a picture of the 3 Season Room and pressured me to sign a contract that night, saying the wall thickness was 4 1/8 inches and that it would cost $7000 with a lifetime warranty. I had to pay $1750 upfront and the rest after installation. He gave me a yellow sheet without his signature and said someone else would come to measure and show me the materials. The installation was supposed to happen in mid-September, but it didn't. I tried calling and emailing Mark and Samantha, but got no response. Finally, Samantha emailed me to say the installation would be on October 13th, but no one showed up. The next day, three guys came with cheap materials that weren't what Mark had shown me. I emailed Mark to complain, but he didn't respond for three weeks. When he finally came, he said it wasn't the same product he had shown me and finished the job with the cheap materials. Now I'm disputing the cost and incomplete work. Someone named Bill C. emailed me to say I have to pay the full amount, even though the project wasn't done right. I'm attaching an email I sent to Mark about the product and blind. Thanks, ***.
