I recently stumbled upon Leaf & Clay and I must say, if you're a succulent enthusiast like me, this site is definitely worth checking out. They have a wide variety of unique and interesting succulent types that you won't find at your local nursery. Plus, they offer the convenience of mailing the plants directly to your doorstep.

One thing I really appreciate about Leaf & Clay is that they send their plants as bare roots, rather than in small pots. Leaf and Clay is a great place to buy succulents. I've made a lot of purchases from them and most of them have been really good. The plants are always healthy and strong, which is great. However, I recently bought an Alocasia from them and it wasn't so great. It came from somewhere else and it was over watered and packaged poorly. It was in the UPS system for over a week and it was really stinky and root rotted when it arrived. It was really sad to see such a beautiful plant in such bad shape. I think Leaf and Clay should stick to succulents because they seem to know what they're doing with those. They need more experience with tropicals. I'm going to take a break from buying from them for a while and try some other companies that do a better job with tropicals.

I gotta say, the plants I got from Leaf & Clay were lookin' pretty good. They seemed healthy and all that jazz. But when I got the package, I was like, "What the heck?" 'Cause it was this tiny little box, like the size of a piece of jewelry or somethin'. And I knew there were supposed to be two plants in there, so I was a little freaked out. But I opened it up and sure enough, there were two little plants in there. The thing that bummed me out was that they didn't come with any soil or pot or nothin'. Like, come on, guys, it wouldn't have cost that much to throw in a little pot and some dirt. And then on top of that, it took over a week for me to get the package after they shipped it, so those poor little plants were just chillin' there with their roots all bare and exposed. Not cool, man. And the price for these tiny plants was already kinda steep, but then they hit me with this big ol' shipping cost, even though the package weighed less than an emery board. I don't know, I might still check out their website for info on plants and stuff, but I don't think I'll be ordering anything else from them anytime soon.
