We went there for a covid test as we saw the results would be delivered between 24-48 hours.

It’s been 4 days and we still don’t have the results yet. Every time we call to check, we get the same response. The lab is uploading the results you should get it today. Has been happening for the last 3 days.

I don’t know how this company is still running. Probably because their employees are the best thing about this company but I feel bad for the employees they are helpful but are under horrible management. This company breaks so many HIPPA violations which is ILLEGAL! Beware before sourcing this company.

I had to get COVID test for travel with my parents and the website I had booked test thru was not responsive. I contacted kyla via the app, Paul responded right away and helped me navigate and get my results in a timely manner. He was responsive, polite , efficient and kind! Amazing customer service! Thank you!

It’s been very stressful with my kids going back to school and my husband going into the office. There have been many encounters with sick individuals. It’s been wonderful knowing Kyla is down the street from our home and work. The process is so easy and the results get sent to my phone the next day. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been trying to add my daughter to sign her up for her covid test at school but I can’t unless i give picture of card. We are living in 2022 and don’t carry or keep insurance cards on us anymore. I have all the names and number to provide but not the physician card. How do I proceed forward. I tried to chat but that chat system is so pathetic!

This app is just amazing, super awesome new way to keep track of my health. I get new “cards” each day to make sure I’m in the right path to live a longer, happier life! (Super helpful) And there’s a plus! Im one to not like doctor office’s but with the app I was able to chat regarding some medical concerns instantly and hassle free, with no trip anywhere! :)

Overall a very good app! I really like that there are different options for getting a Covid test quickly and for free.
I’ll definitely keep using this app and will continue to explore its new features related to diet and exercise. The app really does a lot. It’s really nice to be able to get health advice without having to actually go see a doctor. Highly recommend!

I just gave this app access to my medical history and photos of my drivers license and health insurance card but I can’t opt out of Kyla selling it all to its marketing partners. Chat functionality only robotically gathers more information. It was required by an employer as a covid symptom checker but turned out to be a vast overreach into my personal privacy. Avoid.

First, I’m in San Francisco, and the App says nearest location is in san jose, which is definitely not true.

Then doesn’t process my insurance info and informs me the ‘free’ test will be $230. So actually it was never free, that’s completely misleading. Either you pay directly, or you pay for your insurance which pays for the test. Not free.

Looking for other options now…

- Can’t paste a password, so you can’t use a secure password manager without error-prone retyping. Also doesn’t work with the built-in iOS password support

- For each dependent, you have to re-enter the same address, subscriber ID, and take a picture of the front and back of your insurance card, each time. I understand that it could be different, but at least ask if it’s the same and re-use it.

This is the most inefficient company. It operates like it is run by children. The staff that you speak to and the nurses and great but upper management ruins all the hard work the employees do. They have leaked employer PAYMENT information and patient information like dates of births, names, and test results. The CEO only cares about making sales. Many tests are lost and told they are inconclusive. Beware!

I have never written a review for a company but this is so bad I had to.

After submitting my health insurance info it says it can not be verified but asks to submit it to be verified by employees. I’m on day 7 of waiting to get a response. I have emailed support and got nothing. I’ve called and got no answer and told to email them. Does anyone actually work at this company? Do your job.

I have had to pay out of pocket because of this horrible app.

Does this company using offshore testers?
Just simple user experience is not covered.
Adding child as dependent 4 times and cannot skip the insurance information as it’s been found in DB.
If it’s found what should be done? Notify the user that insurance is found and keep adding the child. What we got in the app? I CANNOT ADD MY CHILD. Error shows even if I want to skip adding insurance screen.
Is there a logic problem in the code or testing wasn’t done?
Come on guys, this app must help to register users fast without additional effort from user.
Please test it properly and use some logic in the code.

tl;dr: If you downloaded this app to schedule a covid test appointment, do NOT waste your time.

It seems like all the clinics around me will offer you a free covid test if you "download the Kyla app" to schedule an appointment. Sure. So I downloaded Kyla, created an account, inserted all of my information, only to be presented with a "chat" function that doesn't work! I've tried it so many different ways just to get this "automated" chat function to work and it never works. It'll ask me the same questions over and over again, it won't register my answers, and it's just going in circles. I don't have time for this! I'm just trying to get a test.

I was exposed to Covid and have tried for two days to schedule a Covid test at urgent care. The first time I was told I would need a consultation and nothing occurred after two hours. I opened a new case and was told to expect a consultation within 15-30 minutes. I never received anything further. I decided to schedule directly with my local urgent care and was sent back to the Kyla app. When I log in, I get a blank screen from multiple computers. (Yes I cleared my cache) There is no number to call or chat function with a live person. The only thing that will work is for me to pay out of pocket instead of going through insurance. Bottom line is they really just want me to pay for my test. Healthcare at its worst

I found Kyla while searching online and thought it would be cool to do an at home test with quick turnaround. I received the test almost a week after I ordered it (ordered Friday, received the following Thursday) and sent it back on Saturday after testing Friday night. UPS told me it would have to be sent out Monday and Kyla would receive it Tuesday. So, I took the test on 1/7, sent it out on 1/8, and now it is 1/19 and I have zero results. Every time I go into the chat, I let them know I haven’t received my results and they say to hold because they’re connecting me to a nurse. Nothing happens after that and I can no longer write in the chat. I submitted a support request and am currently waiting for that response but I do not feel hopeful. I feel like just ordering antigen tests at home would be better.

This is a great app! I had to get a COVID test for work & traveling & was recommended this app. It was super easy to set up an account, enter my insurance information & speak with a doctor to get my COVID test for FREE. Not only this they have so many facilities around the Bay Area it was very easy to get my test completed. The whole process took less than an hour including driving & getting my COVID test. My test results were even sent through the system within the timeframe the nurse had told me. The doctor was extremely nice, took the time to speak with me and put my anxieties at easy during my consultation. While on this app I also explored it’s other features related to diet, exercise & lifestyle. This is an amazing app that you allows you to access a doctor at the convenience of your house and because of the Kyla app we didn’t have to pay anything. I would highly recommend this app to anyone needing a COVID test or for someone looking for easy access to helpful information & doctors at a push of a button. I’ve used this app more than 5x and have nothing but positive experiences. Thank you!

As a covid testing center they got the job done but I did not get results within 24h as advertised, which was the whole reason why I paid money to use this company. The app is a garbage user experience. If you have the option, don’t use this covid testing company! You will need the customer support line: [protected].

Pros: The testing process was quick and easy. I was seen in under two hours from the initial Zoom screening. Drove right up to a local urgent care. No line. No employer referral needed.

Cons: Getting results back was hard. The chatbot was silent for hours. I had to call the urgent care clinic to get the customer support number. The support agent said “actually it’s a 48 hour return period, not 24, and the database is having a problem today so I can’t access your record.” After asking for a manager, I did eventually get a callback with results. I know 2 days is still fast, but I needed a 24h turnaround to not miss work.

The app is terrible. The chatbot is terrible. The wellness parts of the app are laughable. The call center is mediocre. The medical staff are good though. Once you get through to an actual human, it gets better, but the app has all the hallmarks of something slapped together in a hurry to have a minimally functional product, with corners cut to save money at the expense of usability. I also skeptical about the security of my data after being forced to sign a Marketing Agreement where they can sell your info. But I was desperate, so I allowed them to charge me the $95.

Requests a ton of personal information and payment up front and then no available appointments!

It keeps showing me that update is required even though I updated the app. It is not usable right now

With all the time I spent chatting with the dumb robot, I could’ve graduated from MIT and built a spaceship and immigrated to mars.

This app is pretty much useless.
After I enter all the info it wipes out my address info and then barfs an error message.
Is not worth even one star

Support is non existent. App is a pain. Covid test result is missing report and no one there to help. Is a trap to sell and then leave you on your own

Chat is not working. Which is the only way to find an appt apparently. I keep answering the bots questions and it just doesn’t respond. Don’t bother with this app.

No Support! Can’t make the things right. Awful interface. I do not feel safe the ways they handle personal info. I save my words here and leave my best review- Don’t use it!

I recently did my COVID test with this app. The app is showing result test, but the report is missing. They don’t even email report. I need it for travel urgently, and now don’t see any way to get it.

I just went to an Urgent Care, just do they could pass me off to this app. I’ve been on hold in this “15 minute” app for over an hour. Why would an Urgent Care pass me off to be ignored in this app? This is a pointless, ridiculous system!

I only have this app because work requires. It’s a pain to use, once you start a “task” you have to complete it before doing anything else, the system interrupts you when you’re trying to type a message. Overall one of the worst medical apps out there.

Absolutely no notification of my COVID test results. Not in email, not my phone, not through the app. I needed them for a flight. I finally found my negative results after manually scouring the app… a week after my flight. Never trusting this company again.

This is a horrible app. Entering all the information possible only to get to a bot chat and then in a loop of “get a COVID test without an appointment” go to the app, there is no QR code - just a continuous “get the app!” When I’m in the app….ugh. Nightmare. Fix this.

Tried to use it to register for a COVID test. After uploading all of my personal documents and information, the app me in circles and never let me sign up. The bot that was supposedly support just gave me the same response over and over. Horribly designed. Waste of time

We’ve been waiting for the results for our mail in tests for a week and a half, which means they’re completely worthless now. I have submitted several support ticket inquiries and never received a response. If this app didn’t exist, I would have at least known to get a test elsewhere.
