These guys did everything advertised, and product just as described. I see a lot of negative reviews for companies like this (depending on where you look). I've ordered from a few of them in spite of that, and experience has always been good. The reason for these reviews is the same reason it's hard to find ammo and other firearm related goods. There is an INSANE run on virtually everything firearm related. None of these companies are set up to handle this kind of volume. Not the retailers, not the manufacturers. So people, just CHILL OUT. Things may take a while. An email may fall between the cracks. The phone may not get answered quickly. If you want to blame someone, blame these idiots out rioting in the streets!

The customer service is 5-star! I made an online purchase a week ago. I mistakenly "text-a-check" 899 forgetting the 0.99 and was worried about the order could be cancelled. I called the customer service first thing the second day, the lady picked up phone and told me she knew why I called and would take care of the issue. Surprisingly to me she already understood the purpose of the call through the caller id and cross referenced my account while I was waiting in the telephone waiting queues. What a great service, what a smart customer service! 1) The price is fair or good; 2)the customer service is excellent, the waiting time is reasonable. 3) Fast shipping. I will definitely recommend KYGUNCO and will do business with again.

Found exactly what I had been searching for, for what feels like ages now, and I couldn't be happier that it was from this company. This was my first online purchase of a firearm and it was as straight forward and honest as can be. Even when other companies, (as well as auction sites with "buy now" options,) were price gouging various industry related products, this company had my model listed at retail price. I jumped on the opportunity and prepared to wait the clearly stated processing delay period of up to two weeks. In a matter of just a few short days, I received a notification that my firearm was on it's way to my local FFL to transfer. I am ecstatically in possession of my new firearm. Again, I could not be happier with this entire entire experience with this company.

From the start to finish, this transaction for my shotgun purchase went absolutely seamlessly. I was a little hesitant about some mediocre reviews I read, but I had nothing to be concerned about. The turnaround from warehouse to my ffl was really quick and I encountered zero problems. Gun arrived ahead of schedule, in a factory sealed box. I opened it at the gun shop, and it was exactly as advertised. The guys in the gun shop swarmed around to see it, because it was such an awesome looking gun. (IWI Tavor TS12) WARNING when shopping online for a gun, be very careful and shop only at a confirmed legit seller, with multiple positive reviews. I found numerous fake sites that looked real, with deals too good to be true. Don't be a victim, do your homework first and avoid being scammed. You can trust KY Gun Co.

I placed an order with KGC with a request in the request box to please not send the package 'signature required.' I have issues with local drivers refusing to even try to deliver any package that requires them to interact with recipients and it's extraordinarily difficult for me or my wife to pick anything up due to some difficult circumstances. Someone at KGC thought it would be funny to send the package COD. So, after paying for the product as well as shipping, I find a pickup note in the mailbox telling me the package couldn't be delivered and that I owe $2+ in additional shipping charges. I'll admit I wrote a nasty email to KGC, and their response was a generic email with links to review sites, including the ComplaintsBoard.com. So here I am, cutting into my luxurious 3 hours of sleep time to write this instead. I'm furious! Real cute KGC, Real cute.

We were in Bardstown visiting from out of state, and went to the Kentucky Gun Company. We found the handgun that my husband had been looking for for months in our state. It was in stock, and on sale, so it was at a much better price than we had expected to pay. The sales clerk was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Because we would be crossing state lines, gun laws prevented us from taking the gun with us, but they explained to us what they needed in order to ship it to a business with an FFL in our state. We gave them the name of a business in our area. They contacted the business to get the required info, and shipped the gun to our local business. The local business charges a $25 fee for the transfer, which we were informed of up front. We were very pleased with the entire transaction. We will definitely do business here again.

this place conducts buisness incredbly fraidulently. i checked out of their online store for $106 and change, when my card was charged i was billed $201 and change. ALMOST double, what my invoce states. ill be requesting a stop payment with my bank tomorrow morning as soon as they open, as this company charges 10% restocking fee for returns even if its their mistake i ordered a 10 pack of pmag 30's arguably one of the most common accessories for an AR/M4 platform. I figured it shouldn't be a problem getting these, but i was incredibly wrong. their site lists single pmag 30's for $9.99 as if the time i was billed, as well as the 10 pack for $94 and change yet somehow i got charged double, close to double? if it was double fine i could deal with 20 pmags sell em gift em what have you but $20 a pop for something they list as $9.99 is just fraud.

Was looking for 6.5 *** hunting rifle. Ran across Kentucky Gun Company on ***. I visited their site and found what I thought were good deals. I continued searching on the web and in local sporting good stores. What I found out is that what I though was a good deal, was actually a great deal. I called KYGUNCO and got some questions I had answered. They were knowledgeable and courteous. After that I decided to make the purchase online. I ordered the TC Compass II in 6.5 *** with the *** Crossfire II 4-12x44 scope on Monday, October 19 at about 5:00 pm. I received a shipping notice on Tuesday at noon, and the rifle was delivered to my FFL on Thursday, October 22, one day earlier than expected. Due to my experience with Kentucky Gun Company, I highly recommend them for their prices and great customer service. I will do business with them again.

I give them one star because there isn't a zero star option. On August 11 I ordered an optic from their site, It showed in stock at time of purchase and they charged my credit card on the spot. On their site they indicate a seven to ten business day shipping time "due to covid". At the two week point I reached out to them (having read the reviews here) and they assured me that they saw not problem fulfilling the order. I reached out again this week on Monday and they apologized for the delay and told me they would get with their shipping dept. to get my item shipped. Today I get an email advising me they oversold the item and cannot get one. They held my money for a month and then failed to deliver. Seems like they are trying to float their business on other peoples money. They suck at everything possible related to the sale. Poor communication, poor time management, poor delivery. Save yourself the pain and buy elsewhere.

Great experience with my first purchase. Made the decision to go with KYGC because of good reviews. I was able to buy the extremely hard to find Henry X .357 model (at the time of writing this review). I've seen this firearm priced up to $1500 at well known gun auction site and way above retail price at other online gun stores. KYGC kept their price reasonable and did not price gouge the customer. KYGC's price was even lower than the price quote I got from a local gun store. Even with the transfer fee from the FFL, KYGC's price was still lower. Free shipping is a plus! I signed up for the email list to notify me when the firearm will be available again (maybe a month or two before this review). I did this with several other online gun shops. KYGC was the first store to email me that they have the Henry X .357 model in stock. It took exactly 7 business days from the time I received the in-stock email to getting firearm in my hands. Good job there considering Covid restrictions, etc. Again, great experience and I hope to do future business with KYGC again.

I was looking for a Ruger precision rifle in 308 caliber. I could barely find this rifle anywhere online. After looking for hours, I found it at an auction website for $1700. Found it here at Kentucky gun company for around $1350. I did not know anything about this company. They're listed in the ComplaintsBoard.com as a fantastic company. So, I took a chance and ordered this rifle Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. going into a holiday weekend. So, that means they really didn't receive the order until Friday morning. They received my order, processed it, and shipped this rifle before close of business Friday ! That's 1 day ! Monday was a holiday and I received my rifle in perfect condition early Wednesday afternoon. They already had my FFL dealer's info on file so I did not have to mess around with getting them paperwork like other companies. Other companies have you're running around faxing or emailing you're FFL paperwork to them and half the time they don't receive it the first time and you have to send it again. The rifle showed up in perfect condition. Over many years I have purchased many firearms online through different companies. But, this was the absolute best experience out of all of them. This will not be the last firearm I purchased from Kentucky gun company, it is only the first.

Richard L Tallahassee, FL I receive the weekly sales email from KGC and the sales ad for 3/22-3/26 stated *** 12 gauge shotgun came with " one 10 round magazine". I ordered the gun and it arrived at my FFL in Tallahassee in an appropriate period of time. The problem started when in open the box to find the shotgun with 2 5 round magazines. I specifically ordered the shotgun because it came with a 10 round magazine. I emailed the company and the reply came from Mary. She said she would look into it and in the same email later stated it was a "typo" and was changed to 2 5 round magazine. So I called the company and spoke with Madison. After explaining the situation she put me on hold to discuss with Mary and others. I was then told that it was a typo and nothing they could do for me. When I questioned how it could be a typo as the keys on keyboard for 5 and 10 are far apart. I was told that at the bottom of their website and literally the last line on the page was KGC is not responsible for printing errors and typos. They refused to do the right thing and honor THEIR mistake or anything to make the customer happy. Basically I was told to piss off and deal with it. I feel that it was a case of bait and switch, knowing they could hide behind the not responsible for advertisement mistakes. Be wary of KGC and their policies before ordering from them.
