I went to Kosters office to make a payment plan, got it notarized, but then got laid off due to covid. I haven't received unemployment yet and can't get a hold of anyone. I started working part time on May 1st and will be full time on July 1st. I offered to start my payments on June 17th, but Mabey called me and said she's the only one working during covid and wants to charge me an extra $500 for not making payments while out of work. She won't give me the manager's name or number. I told her I'll make my agreed upon payments and that's all until I can talk to a manager about covid messing up my contract dates. Kosters office is still closed due to covid and this one person working there says her mysterious manager and her want extra $500.

This company is bad news, they're sneaky and dishonest. I lost my job due to COVID after taking out a loan and have been struggling to make payments. They moved my account to "legal" without telling me and wouldn't answer my calls. I'm taking care of my sick nephew and can't get in touch with unemployment, so I do my best to pay what I can. They served me papers even after telling me to keep making payments and now they're saying I owe more than I started with. They never told me about any fees and haven't tried to contact me. It's not fair that they're treating me like this when I've been paying what I can. Each store gives me different information and when I tried to set up a payment plan, they told me to go to court instead. This is predatory lending and needs to be fixed.
