Noah G has made two visits to our home concernin plumbing repair and sump pump maintanance. He is always courteous, thorough, and represents Korte in highest professional manner.

Ryan came out for our annual generator maintenance. As a part of this maintenance, I wanted to simulate a power outage to make sure everything works good. Because my business is home based, he made sure to notify me and accommodate the test around my needs.

I called Korte to come over and we talked on the phone about the price. After giving me the initial price for the job, she mentioned there might be additional charges. I asked what those charges could be, and she explained that it would depend on whether they needed any extra parts. They called to inform me that they were on their way, so I asked about the price once more. However, when they arrived, they suddenly wanted to charge double the original price because it was now considered overtime. On top of that, they mentioned sending someone tomorrow for more work that I didn't even request. I decided to send them away. I was really frustrated and called them back to express my dissatisfaction. It seems like they don't really care about their customers. I honestly don't think they deserve even one star. Korte Does IT All 89 Now.

They charge too much for their service! I asked the service guy how much it would cost to fix, and I thought he said $45. But when I got the bill after the job was done, it was $485. When I asked why the rate wasn't mentioned in the preauthorization, he said he always adds it later. I called the office to complain, and they said someone would call me back. But nobody ever did, so I had to call again. When I asked about the rate, they said it was fair. I told them I disagreed because their tech didn't mention the rate in the preauthorization, and I thought he said $45 for the installation. The part itself is only $50, and the tech was at my house for maybe an hour, with the installation taking about 30 minutes. Even if you add a markup on the part and include the service call fee, it should have been $200 at most. The service manager refused to do anything and said it was a fair rate! I won't ever use this company again.

We so happy to say: We had the ‘A’ team from Korte removing giant old furnace and replacing it with new furnace and A/C. Caleb and Tim and crew were amazing, truly. They were so fun while working so efficiently on the removal and installation all day long. Many hours of going up and down to basement installing and removing while also removing outside A/C unit and installing new Carrier unit and flues. These guys really know their profession and work very hard as a great team. They went out of their way to keep the hallway and stairs covered and clean as they worked…which I very much appreciated. They gave great instructions on the new digital-wifi thermostat, furnace, and A/C making sure all questions answered before they departed after a great big job very well done! Thanks, Caleb and Tim and crew for all of your great work. We thank you very much. I recommend them to anyone who needs this work done.

I'm really not happy with Korte. Last week, the pilot light on my water heater went out and I couldn't get it back on myself. Since I have a warranty for my water heater and furnace, I called the warranty company. They told me to find a 24-hour provider in my area to fix the issue. I called Korte and they connected me to a technician within an hour. When I asked how old my water heater was (10 years), they basically said that they tend to go out after a decade before actually seeing it in person. When the technician arrived, he managed to relight the pilot light and mentioned that the area around the water heater needed to be clear of debris, which we did. But the next day, the pilot light went out again! We called another company, and they informed me that the pilot light keeps going out because the element is broken and needs to be repaired. Korte never checked for this. Now, I've been without hot water for the past four days and I'm waiting for a part to be ordered. If Korte had addressed this issue initially, it could have been avoided. I left a negative review expressing my frustration, but they deleted it without apologizing or trying to resolve my concern. I want to make sure this review is seen this time. I don't appreciate how they're hiding bad reviews instead of trying to find a solution.
