terrible bedside manner

Horrible customer service. Had to cancel due to a medical emergency and when I called back they said I need to seek treatment elsewhere. Don't waste your time here. * response to below comment. I " no showed" to this appointment that day because I had to go to the ER due to a car accident, ( I was hit by a car that day) . I called the office the next day to explain what happened and they just dismissed me as a patient even though they already had my 80$ deposit. I even explained to them I was willing to pay another deposit but they wouldn't hear me out. My father is a doctor in the Sacramento area and has been for over 30 years with an immaculate reputation so I know what go bedside manner and Dr. Kauffman's staff has none. I cannot speak to the skills of his surgical expertise but it was clear from the start I was willing to drive 40 min out of my way to make this appointment and had no control over what happened to me when I could not make it. Please if you are wanting someone with compassion and empathy choose to go somewhere else. There are many surgeons out there who are understanding of people who go through things they cannot control.
