I purchased the Jungle Scout Freedom Builder, which included the research tools and extension tool
I purchased the Jungle Scout Freedom Builder, which included the research tools and extension tool. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with the product research tools and reported them. The tools provided inaccurate information. For example, I did not receive the same query results with revenues on two different devices. Additionally, the product revenue seemed to be inflated, and the dimensions and weight were incorrect. Furthermore, the Listing Builder did not import the description from a listing. The company did not inform customers about these glitches unless a ticket was opened, and even then, they only acknowledged the issue without providing a solution. The claims they made about their research product turned out to be false. I spent $999 on training and the product research tools during the Covid pandemic, hoping they would help me make informed decisions. It is frustrating to face hardships during this time and be taken advantage of. I am requesting a 30% refund and do not wish to receive any additional offers from Jungle Scout. Thank you.
I was charged for a subscription that I did not sign up for. $50 per month for 6 months that I did not notice until now. They told sent me the following email regarding this matter "***?, Thank you for reaching out to us. I'll be happy to explain what happened. When you enter your MWS keys to sync your *** Seller account and unlock the Seller Features, it starts a new Seller plan in order for you to be able to use the seller tools, such as Launch, Sales Analytics, Inventory, etc. I have reviewed your account and, unfortunately, I'm not able to process a refund for all the months billed. I am truly sorry. We are a subscription service and thus have to bill for access to our service and not based on usage (similar to the gym). However, I was able to receive approval from Management to refund the last three payments processed. You will see this credit back on your card within the next 5-10 business days, if not sooner. I have also canceled your membership so any scheduled future payments are canceled right away. If there’s anything else that I could help you with, please let me know. Have a great day! They were offering 14 money back guarantee on their website. Then they changed it to 7 days money back guarantee AFTER I paid for my subscription. Now they say that I only had 7 days money back guarantee and they are not willing to issue me a refund.
Sometime around the 20th of April *** enrolling in the Jungle Scout program i selected to be charged monthly and somehow Jungle Scout charged me for the entire year instead. I reached out to Jungle Scout via email a few days later after seeing the charge and requested them to cancel my subscription immediately.I am in the process of beginning to speak with my bank as i now see another charge coming through my account from Jungle Scout.I am requesting Jungle Scout to cancel my account and refund me like I requested because I never chose to be charged yearly in one lump sum payment.

I was charged for a subscription that I did not sign up for. I just noticed that I have been charged $50 per month for the past 6 months. They sent me an email explaining the situation. They said that when I entered my MWS keys to sync my *** Seller account and unlock the Seller Features, it started a new Seller plan. This plan allows me to use the seller tools like Launch, Sales Analytics, and Inventory. They reviewed my account and unfortunately, they cannot refund all the months that were billed. They apologized for this. They mentioned that they are a subscription service and have to bill for access to their service, not based on usage, similar to a gym membership. They assured me that I will see this credit back on my card within the next 5-10 business days, if not sooner. They also mentioned that they have canceled my membership and any future payments. I canceled my Jungle Scout account months ago— they don’t send any confirmation email when you cancel. My account still renewed for the annual price even though I haven’t used it in over six months and cancelled it. Again— they don’t send an email when you cancel your subscription most likely to avoid a paper trail when the charge gets disputed. I contacted customer service via email (they dont have a phone number; red flag) and they said they will not refund me because I didn’t cancel within seven days of it being renewed. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT GOT RENEWED UNTIL I WENT TO PAY MY CREDIT CARD BILL. I plan on leaving reviews about them everywhere I can until they refund me.

I purchased jungle scout yearly membership in 2018
I purchased jungle scout yearly membership in 2018. I went into the website on April 30th, cancelled my membership and never used the website or downloadable extension that came with it ever again. fast forward to March 28 I was charged $97 fee from jungle scout for yearly plan I had cancelled. I contact my bank they try to issue me a refund but jungle scout demands it was a permitted charge. I try to email jungle scout they are unwilling to issue me my refund for the 2020 plan I did not wish to continue.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Below is an overview of our communications with Renata Pereira. In summary, at the time, we unfortunately were unable to refund the funds being referenced because they were on hold from a dispute the customer filed with their bank.

Customer contacted our Customer Support department noting that she believed she had canceled her account two months ago, but had recently received a charge from Jungle Scout. Our Customer Support Representative (CSR) was unable to locate a new charge on her account. The last charge we were able to find was a disputed charge from March 27, 2020. The CSR replied to the customer with a screenshot showing the billing history and requesting additional information. We did not hear back from the customer, so our CSR reached out three additional times and did not receive a response from the customer, so the ticket was closed.

Customer contacted our Customer Support department requesting a refund, noting that her bank would not honor a dispute filed unless she could prove she requested to cancel. The CSR explained that the customer had cancelled the Jungle Scout web based application subscription, but did not cancel the Extension, and that is why she was charged. The CSR offered a prorated refund minus the one month fee. We did not hear back from the customer, so our CSR reached out four additional times. The customer responded after the fourth attempt, noting that the bank had sided Jungle Scout in the dispute, but the dispute had not finished processing yet and we did not see that in our system yet. The customer was requesting a refund.
Jungle Scout reached out to Stripe (our payment processor). To avoid the customer receiving a double refund (once from our refund and once from the bank dispute), Stripe recommended that we not refund a customer's money while a dispute is in progress (it had not finished processing yet). It was explained to the customer that we have to first let the bank settle the dispute before a refund could be processed.
The customer requested proof that she had cancelled her Extension previously, however, we were unable to provide such documentation as our records did not indicate she had canceled. There were several additional emails exchanged. Jungle Scout offered the customer a partial refund after the dispute is resolved, but we did not hear back from her after her bank lifted the dispute.
