The worst company to ever do business with. I live in St. Louis, MO and I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years. Everything is fine, as long as you're spending your money. They pretend customers safety is important they pretend like they're really trying to help us but they only care about the money. Oh don't have a problem where your so called warranty kicks in, they will refuse to honor it. I have been trying to get them to replace my battery for the last 2 days and they refused. I have my receipt and it's still under warranty. I told them it read bad battery at every auto store I took it to. However, Pete (from Jiffy Lube) insisted I get a printout and come back the next day, when the District Manager will be there; he also added that it's possible that the DM might still may say no. He told me they aren't able to replace it unless it reads bad on their computer. Ummm hello if its reading bad on everyone elses computer and not yours then obviously yours is rigged so you don't have to honor the warranty or you're doing something incorrect. So, I went to get the printout but they don;t do print outs unless the battery is detached so I took a pictures for the guy Pete and planned on coming in this morning like he suggested. O'Reillys reader immediately read "bad Battery". This morning I came out and everything is dead in my car. The battery is dead, no lights, no electricity whatsoever. He should've just changed it yesterday then I wouldn't be stranded this morning. I am left trying to find both a ride to and from work, not to mention I'm going to be late. I also have to figure out how to get it towed to Jiffy Lube when I get off. I don't want anyone to jump it because I want them to see it like this so that they can't possibly tell me that the battery isn't bad now. Also, I called Pete this morning and explained to him what was going on and he told me his hands were tied and it isn't their fault because he showed me that their reader said the battery was good. I guess he forgot that I asked him to reposition the reader so that it could get an accurate reading and he told me no, that he had it on right. After he explained to me how his hands were tied, he had the audacity to hang up on me. I was nothing but polite to him. Also, he obviously lied yesterday about the district manager coming in because he told my friend the DM doesnt come into the stores. Terrible customer service and this experience needs to be addressed. I will never ever do service with Jiffy Lube again after this and if it isn't resolved, I will be sure to report my issue everywhere, even the BBB.
