let the public know about this breeder. This 6 month old pup came to me when I attempted to purchase a psychiatric & emotional support dog after loosing my first pug to natural causes. I was referred to Jahred Boyd in Minnesota by a personal contact and mutual friend. I paid a good amount for her thinking I would be getting a healthy & happy puppy. Little did I know, she is a victim of poor breeding practices, and came to me with a genetic defect of aseptic necrosis. He neglected to tell me of any pre existing conditions, he got her vet health check when he let her go from his care at 4 months old to his show dog handler. I didn't know and wasn't informed of her condition until I took her to the SPCA in California at 6 months old.
Aseptic necrosis is a bone disease that results from poor blood supply to an area of bone, causing localized bone death. This is a serious condition because the dead areas of bone do not function normally, are weakened, and can collapse. she is now 7 months old. The surgery to save her leg costs $3000! I can't get pet health coverage for this. I am starting a fundraiser to help save Aura's right leg. With deep sympathy- Raquel LLamas [protected]
