I loved the whole process in getting started with It's Just Lunch! Everyone I talked to was so personable and positive! I'll admit I was a little hesitant to join at first because of the cost, however it's worth it to find quality matches. I am currently in a relationship that is heading towards marriage with someone I met through IJL... and he checks all of my boxes! I am excited for what the future holds for us.

I've been using Its Just Lunch for several months now. Rachel is my client adviser and is really nice and pleasant to work with. She listens well, takes feedback both positive and negative to help improve the fit I have with future matches. The dates have been made to fit my schedule at a central location for both. They take care of making reservations as well. Its been a positive experience and a nicer alternative to online dating.

So far an extremely pleasurable and comfortable experience. I have zero complaints. The women, Kathleen and Morgan are very attentive and proactive as to my needs, always asking ways to refine and make things better. I've had 5 dates always taking into account my schedule if there has been a technical issue it was corrected immediately. The business has been everything that was promised and I have no intention of ending my subscription!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with my client manager Morgan. She called me with updates and information about matches in a timely manner. I felt that she asked the right questions and really took the time to get to know me, which I greatly appreciated! Ultimately I reconnected with an old flame and ended up cancelling my membership, but I would recommend these services to single friends who are looking for a relationship.

It's nice to relax about dating! I've found other services (i.e. online dating sites) to be brutal and emotionally taxing, and I'm too shy to walk up to a stranger in real life. In contrast, IJL lets me just show up and enjoy the experience of another person's company. *** at the *** office has been great to work with. If you can afford a bit of upfront cost, and you can be patient to let an investment in yourself come to fruition, I would highly recommend It's Just Lunch.

This has been a great experience, *** and *** have been so attentive and supportivethank you!I wish I would have done IJL years ago then have dealt with online dating sites. I really like the strategy IJL in how they plan the first dates. With my busy schedule, its great to have someone plan my first days and actually meet people. It is an investment but worth it. The important components for it to be successful is to be completely honest and 1) come with an open mind, 2) try new experiences, and 2) not have such a long list of wants in a person.

I am so disappointed in this service I could cry. I was very clear, in writing, how I could afford the second payment, as I was Just starting a new job. I specifically communicated in writing daily to show good faith. It is sad that they felt the need to violate my trust and just pull $2100 dollars from my account while I was ill with no notice. So I have paid over $4,000.00 for one extremely poorly chosen date that lasted about 30 minutes. I am well educated, however I tend to be too trusting. Even my work as an *** Department physician could not prepare me for this kind of sales tactics. Fortunately I have a lovely hobby that is standup comedy. The folks at Its Just Lunch have provided me with a ton of new material for that over $4,000.00.

So far I have had a good experience with ***. *** and *** have been very flexible with communications and have been prompt with responses. They are professional and friendly and I feel that they listen to my input and try and incorporate that into the dates that are set up. My matches (3 so far) have been consistent with qualities I communicated during the on boarding interview, and I can see that they are discerning in their selection. Having used dating apps previously, I was initially disappointed with the total number of matches, however I have to remind myself that this is not a speed dating service and I trust that the team has my best interests in mind. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for serious relationships.

These matchmakers could careless if you find love. They are extremely unethical and morally corrupt all they want is your money. I only went on one date with a guy who was a reckless *** then got stalked at my gym at 6:00am by a guy they tried to set me up with who I never even met! They claim they dont show your photo or say where you live which is unbelievable how else would this guy find me.*** couldnt even remember what I did for an occupation and Vanessa *** even know the color of my eyes to tell people correctly.I am telling you they dont screen people well and will take anyone and everyones money. They will set you up with unqualified people who are borderline sociopaths.They also charge everyone different prices depending on how much they can get from you. I have heard ranges from 2k-12k. They will claim they have been in business for 30 years but they are a complete scam.

I joined It's Just Lunch due to it's good reputation. I do not know where in the system, the problems originated from, however they made many promises that they were unable to keep. I understand if due to the pandemic they did not have many prospects. However they told me there were many. Unfortunately they were barely able to introduce me to one match a month. I had to contact the primary matchmaker multiple times to get them to contact me about matches. I asked for a new team and they ignored my request. I was able to have a heart to heart with the primary matchmaker however the problems continued afterwards. I wish they would have been honest with me. I contacted the company for a new team and they referred me back to my team who ignored the request. They told me that I should be getting 2-3 matches a month. However, that was not the case. I asked for clarification as I wanted to understand the issue and possibly hold my membership until a future time when there may be more options. I again was ignored. I was told there was a match and then they said that the person had paused their membership. Please do your research before joining this company. I am very disappointed in this company for promising me something they could not deliver on.

If you are looking to expand your horizons, learn more about yourself, learn about new people, increase your skills and do it all with the support of a professional and encouraging team, IJL is a great option. Not to mention, the Zoom dates provide the perfect way to continue meeting people in a real way despite the restrictions of Covid. Conversations and dates (even virtual) provide the opportunity to meet new people on a deeper level than through datings apps by facilitating actual conversations. . If you are intent on finding the perfect person you've imagined for yourself as quickly as possible, you may find yourself disappointed or wanting faster results. However, if you're focused on using the experience to cast a wide net, grow and challenge yourself as a person, you'll be happy you invested your time and money in IJL. It's been a great experience meeting people I never would have inside my own social circle and I've been surprised to learn that what I thought I wanted may have lead me to miss out on some great people. I credite the team for really listening and keeping me open minded! I've enjoying being part of the game, even at this time when the world has been on lockdown. I have been matched with confident, professional, intelligent, driven and beautiful ladies!My matchmaker ***, and the team at IJL are always upbeat, listen to my feedback and payed attention to my concerns in the beginning So, that they can match me up to the best possible match in their circle of amazing ladies. *** enlightened me to my positive attributes I displayed during my first couple of dates and the areas that needed improvement. After thinking about it for quite some time, I finally gave it a shot back in November and registered an account with It's Just Lunch. The service is certainly not cheap, but if you can afford it, it certainly does put your mind at ease. Gone were the days of endlessly browsing online matchmaking websites. No more online window shopping. The work is done for you. After being a bit anxious and excited for my first few virtual Zoom dates, they really did not go very well. The women I met were not fits for me. I had one person fail to attend the date and a couple dates were interrupted midway through. At times I was disappointed and questioned whether this was worth it. However, what I like about the service is that after each date, I was able to speak with Morgan, tell her about my experiences. What worked, what didn't. As time has gone, I feel that the IJL team has done a better job curating my matches and I've been able to meet more compatible women. I'm now nearly 5-months into my membership and I have to say, I've been satisfied. Some of the virtual dates have led to subsequent physical dates. At the time of this review, one seems very promising and I'm hoping it blossoms into something special. However, I know that if it doesn't, the service is still there and these matchmakers are going to keep working at it until something works. I would definitely recommend the service.

is the most deceitful and unethical company I have ever hired. The saleswoman assured me that they had men of a similar education level and income with whom to set me up. After the first few dates it became clear that she had lied. When I asked my matchmaker to set me up with men of a similar income and education level, she referred me to the saleswoman from *** (***), a subsidiary owned by the same woman. The *** saleswoman told me many lies- including that I could turn down any dates I wanted and get a refund for them. See my ComplaintsBoard.com complaint against *** (based in ***). If *** had not lied to me about having matches, they wouldn't have had the opportunity to upsell me (with more lies) to their more expensive and equally deceitful company! In summary, the dates both *** and *** set me up with were often men of poor character, and none were good matches for me. (I consistently find better men on ***, *** and through ***) The *** and *** matches were so poor that of the 12 dates I paid $35k for, I forfeited 6 of them because I don't want to waste my time. I also don't want to work with this dishonest company.I believe the disparity in reviews is due to the fact that the saleswomen tell everyone who calls that they have people in their demographic, whether or not this is true. People for whom it's true are happy. People for whom it's a lie are unhappy- and we are burned twice because they lied about the refund option.If you read my complaint against ***, note that there is one lie and many misleading statements in the company's final response. They said I was happily dating someone they set me up with which was not true. I went on 4 lunch dates with one man who initially said he wanted to be friends and then said he was looking for casual ***. I told them from the start that dating him wasn't going to go anywhere, but they encouraged me to give it a few more dates. And then they wrote that lie. Shameless.

I was told I'd get the 3 matches I wanted, but it hasn't happened. I'm a black woman in my 60s and I specifically asked for a Black Man with Christian values. A. First date was with a Caucasian Man who stood me up. It was humiliating and embarrassing. B. Second date was from Africa, not American. C. Third time was the same guy who stood me up before. He stood me up again, but this time it was even worse. I was devastated. Why would you do that again? D. Then it was a Hispanic man, never asked for or dated a Hispanic before, and he wasn't religious at all! I still haven't had my black date. E. They didn't want to give me a refund. After lots of conversation and battling, I asked for at least 3 more dates. I signed a contract with them in May or early June. Now I'm back at square one. I haven't heard from anyone. I used to hear from them often before the confusion and mistakes. I'm requesting a full refund of $2000. If they want to subtract $666, that would be a refund of $1334.

After a long sales talk with a matchmaker from Its Just Lunch, I was promised to be personally matched with successful professionals who aren't on regular dating sites. They claimed to have plenty of ideal matches for me. I paid $4300 upfront and $99 per month for their service. However, the first two dates they promised never happened. The first date they offered was completely different from what was described, so I called to express my concerns about the lack of proper matchmaking. The matchmaker admitted she hadn't even met him and he came from a different office. The other office matched me without knowing anything about me or my profile. They suggested I give it a try anyway. After a Zoom call, I immediately contacted my matchmaker, but she was suddenly unavailable and passed me off to an administrator. I gave direct feedback that the match was unacceptable and not what I was promised. I asked about a refund since I wasn't getting what I paid for. It took three days of trying to reach my matchmaker before I finally spoke to her, only to be told she doesn't handle refunds and passed me back to the admin person. I spoke to them and they said refunds aren't given, but they had a better match for me. I agreed to give it a shot while still discussing a refund. Unfortunately, the new match was just as disappointing. I've been consistently asking for a refund, but I'm getting nowhere. I'm increasingly upset and strongly believe that the promised matches don't actually exist. In my last phone call, I expressed my desire to escalate my dissatisfaction and explore the possibility of a refund. They said they would talk to a manager and have them call me, but I haven't heard anything yet.
