We had Interstate Heating & Cooling put in Mitsubitshi minisplit systems upstairs in October . Rick Daino told us about NYS rebates we could get for installing the system. He said his wife knew all about the rebates and would apply for them. These rebates could be worth thousands of dollars and would help with the $16,200.00 cost of the system. I called in November and talked to Nicki, who was supposed to handle the rebates, but she didn't know how to fill out the paperwork. She eventually talked to someone who could help, but now they won't answer our emails or calls. The company has to apply for the rebates, so we can't do it ourselves. The rebates were for 2020, but it's 2021 now.

his company came to fix my septic line on Feb. 9th. They used a snake to unclog it, but it didn't work. They said they would come back with a longer electric snake, but they hit something hard in the line. The next day, they came back with a power washer, but they thought there might be ice in the line. They said they would use heat guns, but it would be expensive. They suggested replacing the pipe instead. I agreed, and they charged me $776.02, which I thought was a bit much. After they left, I noticed they broke two moldings on the back of my trailer. They also didn't secure the toilet to the floor, so it rocks back and forth. They didn't mention any of this when they left, and they didn't say they would come back to fix it. They call themselves professionals, but I'm not so sure.

I had a problem with my heat in the kitchen and bathroom, so I called Interstate Heating & Cooling on Dec 2, 2021. They came and fixed the baseboard heater and the temp gauge on the wall in the bathroom. They ordered a new baseboard heater for the bathroom, which they installed, but it wouldn't shut off and the wall was too hot, so we had to turn off the breakers in the basement. They came back and ordered a new wall temp gauge, which they installed, but it still wouldn't work properly. They ordered a new one, but it still didn't work. They said it was the heater itself, so they ordered a new one, but it still didn't work. They said it was the babbles, but they couldn't get them. They ordered a new baseboard heater for the kitchen without asking us first. They were supposed to come today with the parts, but they didn't have the part to fix the bathroom heat. We declined their offer, and we still have no heat in either room. It's freezing in here, and we have to keep the living room heat on 80 to keep the kitchen and bathroom warm. They've been here 4 or 5 times, and we still have the same problems. I told them I'm not paying until they fix the heat, but they haven't done anything yet. It's now Feb 2022, and I'm sick of playing games with them and sick of no heat.
