My experience with the Illinois Energy Windows & Siding *** team was excellent! My journey started with my in-home estimate where I received a detailed breakdown of options that I could customize to meet my budget and ended with my new windows and my home looking great!My estimator explained how my current windows differed from what was available and helped me find windows that improved not only my energy efficiency but ease of use as well.My installer arrived promptly and ensured I understood what he would be doing. Once done he showed me how to use the new windows and cleaned up all the installation mess before leaving. Ive had my new windows for about a month and couldnt be happier!

We got quotes from several other window services, and we knew upfront, we only had one or two windows that needed to be definitely replaced, and Illinois energy window replacement gave us a fair and honest appraisal., Other companies either try to sell us "whole house packages" or one company wouldn't even come out and look because I told them upfront we could not afford more than 1 - 2 windows. From day one Illinois energy was fair, honest, and completed all the work in the timeframe they promised. From the salesperson (thanks Derek) to the installers everyone was extremely professional and kind!. When I need the rest of my windows to replace I will call them, and I recommend this service to anyone who is looking!

We have used Illinois Energy Windows twice now and I have to say in addition to having high quality products - the install crews have been fantastic. Everyone knows that a new door or window is probably less than half the critical issue since if the install is poor or has leaks - it's like having no door or window at all. I also like that the company keeps you posted regarding their schedule - calling ahead to confirm appointments after the initial appointment is made, as well as sending out a second representative to check measurements before the item is ordered. The company also worked with us to pay by credit as we try to accrue miles to travel with family living in Europe. The fact that we used them a second time after getting a new set of patio doors this winter tells it all

My experience with Illinois Energy and Windows could not have been more positive. I contacted them for a new front door and sidelight window in June. My initial meeting to full installation took about 2 months - exactly as promised. On the day of install (a Saturday, so I didn't have to take a day off of work) Rob and Paul arrived on time, worked steadily and competently to remove my storm door and the existing front door/sidelight window. They were constantly cleaning up as they went and worked seamlessly to install my new door unit and reinstallation of my storm door. Rob was amazing! His care and concern to make sure everything was perfect made me feel like he would have paid the same attention to detail if it was his own house. They even cleaned off the spider webs from my front porch so the door would look fabulous! I love my new door and appreciate the financing options that were offered to me. You can't go wrong if you choose this company.

Very professional company. We met with Mike S, he spent a few hours covering & explaining the company and what the process would be from start to finish. He took measurements on all of the windows and documented them thoroughly. We have 8 windows in our home, 2 of the windows were replaced about 10 years ago and Mike told us that those 2 windows were in great condition and we didn't need to replace them. He gave us prices for the 6 windows as well as replacing all 8. Another gentlemen (a believe his name was Renee) came out a few days later to re-measure to ensure everything would fit correctly. After about 3 weeks we received a call to schedule our appt for Installation. March 27, 2 Men arrived at our home around 8:30 am and were completed by 5. Both men wore masks and glove (Covid-19) and were very professional and thorough, they laid floor tarps in all the rooms, the stairway and hallways. We received a courtesy a few days later asking us what we thought about the windows and if they're were any questions. We are super happy with the windows, the original windows were 37 years old. A Transformed *** Exterior by *** M *** we hired Illinois Energy to replace the siding and *** trim on our house and garage we had always hired individuals or companies to complete work projects for us who were recommended by someone we knew. Such was not the case with Illinois Energy since we learned about this company via an advertisement, but we are very thankful we chose them. They transformed our *** from white 8 siding with shutters to an amazing-looking 6 blue siding with expertly crafted and installed white trim. We appreciated the professionalism, prompt communications and helpfulness exhibited by all the personnel we dealt with from sales, administration and installation. *** work crew, which included five other men, was absolutely great. They let us know their plans & schedules, performed their jobs well, sought our input for how we desired things to look along the process and made sure we were satisfied with ALL the work as it was being completed. We have commented to each other that its like we have a completely new place to live without even having to move! We would highly recommend Illinois Energy to anyone needing *** work.

Needing to take the time to review Illinois Energy for windows that were installed in my home. I will tell you there is nothing harder than shopping for windows for your home. I can think of numerous things that is easier do like teeth extractions, removing a bot fly from my eye lid, shopping for a car, etc. There are so many companies to choose from and some many options and variations. I cannot tell you this is the company to use. Its the same reason why you chose to buy the car you are currently driving. Yours and my opinions and criteria differ from each other. Thats what makes the human population so unique in the animal kingdom.My wife and I started shopping for windows quite some years ago. We entertained many window companies, some being REALLY expensive and some quite CHEAP. *** at Illinois Energy was one of the representatives sent to our house. I will say, *** is a really nice guy and super humble. He will talk to you like a human being and not down or at you. He will talk to you. Theres a difference. Some guys will tell you, you need, their windows. Others may not. *** was really understanding when he was told that we were shopping other companies as a smart and educated consumer should do. We got our quotes from several companies and decided new windows for the home was out of our pricing range at that moment. Fast forward to present day. We called back the three companies we really enjoyed talking to, as we were financially ready to make a purchase for our home. *** from Illinois Energy really stuck out out in our minds because he was the most succinct and seemingly honest about windows. One company we had over was here for hours and hours. The salesmen, (yes, this is plural), were very friendly and if I didnt like them in my house I wouldve asked them to leave. The big turn off for me was, this is our price scheme, but if you decide to go with us today we can do it for a lower price. Well give you 10 minutes to think about i

We purchased a modern Castleview custom entry door in March 2022. There are many unresolved installation problems with this and original storm door. The entry door has gaps around it; the door has popping loud noises the same time everyday which is threatening and annoying, sounding is if someone is trying to break in; bottom rubber is wearing out because it is rubbing against the threshold. The company removed my original functional storm door during installation and, without permission, refuses to reimburse to replace. The initial install of the entry door was well encased in aluminum, appeared to operate fine. A few days later there were noticeable opening and closing problems, a visible nail/screw left unpainted inside the side panel of the new entry door. The company sent another installer to adjust the door hinges. Still remained, problem with closing and opening and digital lock not performing well. Company to send installer, if, as directed, to purchase a storm door and they would install it at no charge. We, hesitantly with no recourse, purchased a new *** "hidden closure" storm door to replace original. The Company sent another installer to install the storm door and fix the opening closing problems. On installer's second visits, he completely: Destroyed the looks of the Castleview custom entry door by removing the initial framing and aluminum casing; made a wood frame for the prehung "hidden closure" storm door, then poorly hung the storm door, leaving gaps and openings around the storm door. Summary, the company refuses to honor the lifetime 100% warranty to repair, replace, or service the Castleview Entry door, unless we deny their involvement with the install of the *** "hidden closure" storm door. Company says, all our requests to fix, repair, replace the entry door and costs of replacing original storm door are unreasonable. Unfortunately, other means to have company perform within terms,including, complete customer satisfaction is warranted.

BEWARE YOU ARE BEING SOLD THIRD PARTY PATIO DOORS WHICH ALL WILL DEVELOP DESICCANT ACCUMULATION IN BETWEEN THE *** PANES AS PER GM *** ADMITTANCE*** RUN OF THE *** DOORS, GREAT SERVICE *** After sales was done for a replacement front door and patio door because they had the best products, the best installation team and overall the best guarantee in the business (which is what sold me), I put 50% down payment, a long time went by before the doors were installed because you know covid, the installer was very professional and well not very careful on installation, it was done during winter 2021, well, the front door hinges squeaks, the frame around the door leaked like a sieve, and had a seal failure on the sidelite of the door, the patio door had air infiltration on the slider door on top and bottom of the inside corners of the frame causing all kinds of condensation on the lower part of the door I was concerned because this would cause mold to grow, I was told this was normal specially if it was close to the heating register and closed the curtains at night, (funny thing is that after a technician was sent to fix this issue, the condensation magically disappeared!) even more important the were some very sizeable particles in between the glass panes, called in and about four months later get a second set of replacement panes with a lesser amount but still present of so called desiccant, here is where the fun begins, *** and I start having a conversation about the issues, and tries to convince me that is natural, and I was adamant that I would not be looking at these flakes for the next 20 to 30 years, (black seal with whittish desiccant flakes) and every solution I offered they were all rebuffed as essentially no way, no how, not going to happen, and at the end one of the solutions I offered was adopted for my problem, I firmly believe that my problem was solved quickly because I was still holding half of the remaining balance

We had 5 windows and a sliding glass door installed and we couldn't be happier! I keep saying "we have the Cadillac of windows" and they defiantly are with their quality. The windows frame my backyard perfectly! They were fairly large so we were nervous but they are stunning and you can feel zero heat transfer inside! They are trimmed out beautifully too! They'll be so easy to clean with the folding-in function and the child lock is very helpful with my 7 month old who is messing with everything. The sliding glass door I cannot get enough of; CROWNING GLORY! I can move the door with my pinky with ease. It has a kick lock which is too strong for my son to activate but easy for me. Before I had a wood kick plate outside which was rotting away but now we have a beautifully cased door with a vinyl or waterproof material that will last the lifetime of the doors. The installation process went so smoothly. Team of 3 men and they rocked out those windows like pros! They even took their shoes off EVERY SINGLE TIME they can in and out of the house. They laid down rugs to protect my floor and cleaned the windows and back area up when they were done. You couldn't even tell we have anyone working in our front lawn; everything was cleaned up so well. They even reinstalled my blind hardware before leaving which saved my husband a ton of time! They were polite and very good about wearing masks and keeping social distance. We couldn't have had a better team and I hope we have them again when we finish the other house windows! Payment options were great too; the price for windows was more expensive then competitors but I can DEFINATLY tell the difference in quality of product and customer service. Their finance option was even cheaper than my Credit Union! The warranty is also better with IL Energy than the main brands we've seen on TV. The windows are covered 100% EVEN WHEN WE MOVE OUT the warranty is transferrable to the new owner! #Lifetime of the house.. who else does that; NO ONE! Window parts & pieces, installation, labor, seal warranty, unlimited glass replacement all 100% covered! I would recommend IL Energy to a friend, neighbor, colleague and family because everything from start to finish was exceptional!
