I’m disabled Bad left leg. Can not walk but with walker can move about 15 ft. I use a 3 wheel scooter that I paid for out of pocket & now need a replacement as the anti roll gear is shot and the electrical parts are fraying. With my scooter I can get out of the house & drive for groceries,to Dr appointments and clothes shop & get into places like Home Depot without help. I tried using wheelchairs at Drs offices but most don’t work properly or have missing parts. It was explained to me that when they have better equipment it gets stolen. I used a battery scooter at a large grocery chain store. It broke down in the store & I had to wait over an hour for another one that was not in use. I don’t need it at home as my bedroom bathroom & kitchen are close to each other & the walker with its seat works fine. I have grab rails too. My Dr put in a request order for a replacement scooter as directed by the Humana website. I called Humana to follow up & was told the request should have gone to them & not the supplier. For 6 weeks I’ve been going back & forth with my Dr & Humana Dr request to Humana has been sent several times. I was told a decision would be made in 48-72 hrs by Humana representative. Called after this time & representative couldn’t locate any information. Was told to have Dr send request to company that is contracted with Humana. This is what Dr did originally. My doctors office is frustrated & I’m stranded at home. Nothing but the run around from Humana. This is so wrong
