Worked with Kim G in Minnesota to help Mom sell her home after Dad died and she decided to move into Senior Apartments. She and Homestead Road were caring, honest, and awesome to work with. They did exactly as they said they would do, and the selling was SO easy and efficient. So grateful we didn't have to empty and clean the house. The offer was very fare and more than we expected. Made my Mom very happy. I especially liked that they based the offer on a formula that takes into account multiple factors (including market trends) and fair costs to them.

This was the only way to go for me, and I was really happy with the entire process. I worked with DiAnn T, Senior Acquisition Manager. She was very professional and also respectful and understanding to my situation. She always got back to me with answers very promptly and it happened like how she said it would. I felt immediate relief as soon as I met her. It is a difficult and emotional process to sell a house and this makes it so much less stressful, and being able to leave things behind was a huge burden lifted. My parents had lived in their home for over 60 years and upon their passing, i needed to address disposal of the home. I worked with several companies including Homestead Road. Sunil B, their representative, was a pleasure to work with. While I did not end up selling to Homestead Road (for reasons other than price and service), Sunil was totally professional. He was on time, communicated directly and clearly, answered all questions completely and followed up with me exactly as he said he would. In the future I will refer anyone I know or talk to that has a property to sell to consider Homestead Road and specifically to ask to deal with Sunil B

I contacted Homestead Road several years ago. The person who answered the phone told me that they only paid "wholesale" for homes and that my home was worth $100,000 less than the value from the county assessment. Homestead Road told me that so many changes need to be made because "millennials" didn't like what was in my home. Our home was built only 20 years prior to our call at that time. The owner at that time left me a voice message saying I was asking for the "retail" price of the home and that they could give me $20 thousand to move, and said the home would be worth $40 thousand less than the county assessment. They continually send me advertising despite being on the do not mail list.

I would never dream of using a company that is so incompentent at even managing their mailing lists, much less one of the most expensive financial transactions of anyone's life (buying/selling a home). I travel a lot and can't have my mailbox jammed up with junk mail signaling to thiefs I'm not home. For years I would email or call Homestead Road to please take me off their mailing lists and permanently opt out of any/all future mailings. And everytime they assured me they would take care of it. And today, right on schedule (every 3 months) I just got another junk mailing from them! Steer clear of this firm - there are plenty of other professional, reputable firms that can provide the same (or better!) services.

Homestead Road was exactly what we needed. We are in our 70’s and neither had the energy or money it would take to fix up our older home. DiAnn *** was very professional and easy to talk to. Everything she told us that would happen came to be. The quote came quickly and was very fairly priced. They gave us all the time we needed to pack and exit our home. We had a young lady named Rachel contact us weekly to see if we needed anything. She sent out free boxes when we requested them. We were able to leave all the things we didn’t need any longer and they would take care of it all. Closing went smoothly and then we were all done. What a nice treat! They deliver all they promise. It was time for my 94 year old "independent" mother to leave her 93 year old home. She had not been able to properly clean or upkeep it for years and would not accept help. She had received many mailings from companies wanting to purchase her home. Homestead Road had the most professional mailing and were very helpful and respectful when I contacted them. They promised to make the process hassle-free and they did an amazing job at that! If we had run into any glitches, mom would have used that as an excuse to move back. I am so thankful that the sale was quick with no issues. Mom is now comfortable, safe, and happy in my home. She is totally satisfied with her decision to sell her home to Homestead Road. Her old home will be renovated by them and will become a wonderful home for someone new.

I am Jim H and I want to share my experience with you. I have lived in my home in Tampa, Florida for 26 happy years. I wanted to relocate to Kentucky and needed to sell my home. Moving from Florida out of state to Kentucky was going to be a huge venture, in itself. I knew that in order to list my home for sale in the market , this would be quite an undertaking, because a lot of repairs and upgrading appliances would be necessary if I was to get any buyers. I really needed to sell my home fast and without any hassles. One day, I received a postcard from Roads about selling my home and promised quick action and no hassles. I would definitely recommend Homestead Road for homeowners in our position. We'd been in our family home for over 30 years and were moving outstate and downsizing. We are seniors & did not have the energy it would take to prepare our home for sale the traditional way. We had a lot of possessions we were not taking with us. Homestead Road provided us an easy, stress free way to sell our home. Kim *** worked with us & was very professional & personable. She genuinely took interest in our situation & not only walked us through the process to sell our home to Homestead Road but also introduced us to ways we could easily sell some of our furniture online. We did leave behind many items in the house and did not have to do the heavy lifting to clear them out of the house. We were able to set our closing date and felt we received a fair price for our home. Communication with Kim and the Homestead Road and closing people was good throughout the process. There were no surprises. The process was as easy as we have been told it would be.

Eugene, Acquisition Manager at Homestead Road, was a joy to work with on selling our home. He promised to make it easy for us to downsize. He even arranged for us to stay in the old home after closing so we'd have time to move to the new home without rushing. We actually sought out offers from other companies before our appointment with Homestead Road. Unlike the other companies, Eugene promised us and delivered a fair offer we thought was justified, given the state of our old house and current sales market in our area. Eugene and Homestead Road made it possible to have our dreams of moving to a home that better fit our needs, as seniors. Eugene showed up for our first visit with delicious cookies from a local charity Homestead Road supports. He and his lovely assistant, Chanti, kept us informed and up-to-date every step of the way. Closing was smooth and careful. He even had an artist paint a portrait of our old house as a keepsake for us. We can't say enough good things about our experience. Homestead Road is 5-Star all the way. We initially contacted another similar organization and had a horrible experience. We then saw an ad for Homestead Road and our experience was the complete opposite. Everyone we spoke to and dealt with were nothing but kind, thorough, knowledgeable and so understanding of our situation - selling of an old townhome so my elderly parents could move into senior housing. We signed with Homestead Road in the Fall, but did not close until Spring due to waiting for a place in senior housing. However, due to COVID-19 and my Father being diagnosed with a terminal lung disease, all our plans changed. Homestead Road was there to help in anyway they could. They patiently waited for us since Fall, and when life turned upside down they did everything possible to make the sale of the townhome and the transition as easy for us as possible. There are not enough words in a simple review to express all the praises Homestead Road deserves. They're truly an organization with a mission to help others; and they do it with a huge kind heart.

Selling my home was as easy as the Homestead Road folks said it would be because of their dedication to me, their customer. The personnel of Homestead Road is amazing. The professional and knowledgeable folks at Homestead Road are also really nice people! Every concern that I had was addressed and I was very much in control of the sale of my home including the closing date. As it turned out, I found another home two months before the closing date that I had originally set. No problem for the Homestead Road folks. They accommodated my new closing date with speed and accuracy. Also, when they told me not to bother with any of the issues that can and will pop up in a move as swiftly as mine, including cleaning, painting, fixing minor repairs and hauling away anything that I didn't want moved to my new house, they meant what they said. Homestead Road took care of everything. Talk about a stress-free move! I even received a moving allowance and also packing boxes. Everything was so easy for me and I will recommend Homestead Road to everyone and anyone who would love to have a stress-free move. Call Homestead Road and you will be so glad that you sold your house the Homestead Road way.

I've contacted and reported this company like 3 times to tell them to stop sending me post cards in the mail. Me and my Parents ain't selling our house and they also reached out to the same company. We both got a card in the mail on 3/18. Last time I complained, they said sorry and sent gift cards, so I figured the issue was fixed.

I got put on Homestead Road's marketing lists without my permission and I've been trying for months to get taken off. They tell you to go to a website and enter your info to be removed, but I did that three times and nothing happened. I talked to one of their employees in November and she said she would take me off, but now I'm not only getting mailers, but also a magazine. I've signed up for every "do not mail" list I can find, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've never even done business with them, so I don't understand why they added me and won't let me go. I'm hoping that if I involve the ComplaintsBoard.com, they'll finally pay attention and remove me. This is a really sketchy way to do business.

We had a deal with Homestead Road to buy our crib for $197,500. We put our John Hancock on the agreement back in January , and they said we'd close the deal by August 31. About 3 weeks ago, Homestead hit us up, asking us to sign some cancellation papers. We were cool with being flexible on the closing date, so we didn't sign those papers and we told them straight up. But then, crickets. We had to reach out to our old contact to find out what's up. Turns out, he got the boot and gave us the name of a new person to talk to. When we got in touch with this new dude, he dropped the bomb on us - our contract got axed.

I bought the house at ***. After the closing at Title Smart, I was sent home with a closing packet. When I got home, I opened the packet and found some papers that weren't given to me during the closing. One of them was about an unpaid assessment that would be added to my 2021 taxes. It cost $109. I called Title Smart and they said they had sent me an email about it before the closing. I don't have a computer, and the lady from Homestead Road said she would inform the title company about this. They said they were never informed, and that Aksana had received a copy of their email. If Aksana had told me about this, I would have had the chance to dispute it. Overall, Aksana was okay, but sometimes she seemed impatient to end the call when I was trying to tell her something. I left a message for Aksana on the Monday after my closing, but I never got a reply. I've told her to call back when the line is busy.

I bought my house in 2013. I didn't know about Homestead Road until October . They started sending me fake condolence letters in handwritten envelopes, urging me to sell my home. It seems like they search for probate notices in newspapers, which are required when there's an estate. But they got the address wrong. It's my house, not my mother's who passed away there. I called to complain, but nothing changed. They kept sending me these letters for six months. I contacted the company multiple times. After the second call, they said they would remove my address from their list. The solicitations stopped for a few months, but then they started again in 2019. Now, instead of letters, I receive postcards every now and then. The latest one was on June 16. I'm fed up and want to enjoy the next 30 years in my forever home without Homestead Road bothering me. I'm reaching out to the ComplaintsBoard.com because I see other complaints on their site, so I know I'm not alone. This is pure harassment. My family has realtors, so I have help if I ever want to sell. This is my forever home, and I find these advertising tactics heartless.
