I am complaining about an order i placed online from the oneonta store on 07/07/2023 for a upright freezer.I placed the order online order# WJ36222857. I had a 25.00 dollar discount from the pro dept that i wanted to use but had a problem applying it to my order.So i cancelled the order after it was ordered. I called and had a person help me reorder the freezer and apply the 25.00 discount.The new order number is # CM39861016 . The new order was delivered and i am very pleased with the product.However,my credit card was billed for both the cancelled order and processed order.I called the Oneonta store and was told to wait 5 business days and the refund for the cancelled order should be posted on my discover account.I waited 6 days and called back since my account was not credited. I explained the problem to the employee who answered the call. This employee told me i would have to come into the store for a refund, that it was impossible to refund the cancelled order over the phone.They told me there is a glitch in their computer and it could not process the refund.I explained that i ordered this online because i could not make it into the store and that i wanted the refund processed because i could not get into the store. I was told that it could not be done and i would not receive a refund until i appeared in the store.I then asked to speak to the store manager. When the store manager got on the phone he was briefed by the employee about the problem. He told me that the refund could ONLY be processed when i come into the store.I told him i ordered it online cause i could NOT make it to his store,its over a hour's drive from my house to the store . The store Manager then told me,"You live in Sidney Center that's only a 40-minute drive not an hour". First, i did not like the way i was spoken to by your manager and second, the address that he referred to was my billing address Not my home address, He was so rude to say this to me ,i did not tell him that he was wrong because he was very abrupt and rude and i did not want to have an argument with this person.I asked for a way i could get in touch with his boss.He told me to look on the website.He said i could not get a refund unless i show up at the store with id and prove who i am. At this point i hung up and called my credit card company to intervene.I was so very upset that i ordered this online and i have the cancelled order and i can not get the refund for a purchase that was cancelled. The reason i could not get to the store was that i am 65 yrs old and just had hip surgery...i cannot walk to get to the store i did not tell the manager this because it is none of his business but i wanted you to know that the was a reason i could not get to your store and besides i ordered it online cause i knew i had weeks of rehab before i could drive again. My discover card was alerted to this problem and is working on it. Then on 8/22/2023 i was called by the oneonta store by a woman who i assume was the bookeeper, i didn't get her name but she had a language accent and her English wasn't always clear. This woman was SO rude. She must have been contacted by my credit card company cause once again she told me i had to come into the store to get my refund and gift card refund. I once again explained to her that it was not a gift card..it was a 25.00 credit from the pro dept for spending a certain amount and the price of the freezer. The total amount of refund should be 674.84,that was the amount that was on my credit card.She could not understand what i was saying and was arguing with me.I told her i just wanted my refund that was on my credit card in the amount of $674.84. She then told me ",Oh you do not want the 25.00 dollar gift card, we will keep it then in our register".At this point i was done explaining that i reordered with the 25.00 credit from the pro dept.I could not get my point across to this woman. I told her again i just wanted the amount of $674.84 refunded to my card.She then say ok i will figure out how to do this and refund and we will keep the 25.00 in our register. Within 10 minutes i got an e mail that said my account was refunded 674.84 to my discover card. It also stated that 25.00 was refunded by a mc ? I have no idea what this is all about.

Desired outcome: I just wanted you to know the problem i had and how i was treated. I do NOT want to be contacted by the Oneonta store .
