Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Des Moines review: I need help finding my purse or to be reimbursed for the cost of the bag and wallet at the very least!

I checked in with our softball team on Wednesday, July 6. One of our group members had a gun left in her room by a previous customer. Police came and she had to leave dinner and come back to the hotel to deal with that. Another member of our group had a door that wouldn’t work. Complained about it twice. They did nothing for her. Two of our rooms had no air conditioning. I complained 3 times and was told they went into the room and it worked. I asked for her to meet me in the room It was 79 degrees in the room and she couldn’t get it to work. They finally moved us. But upon moving I left my purse in the bureau/closet. Once we got back from the fields the next day I asked about my purse. We went to the room that they had cleaned and rented to someone else who was then complaining about the heat. Women acted like she didn’t know that. They still haven’t found my purse. They have to know who cleaned the room. I keep getting the run around. The elevators weren’t working. There was water coming from the ceiling. I am supposed to call again today (Sunday) and talk to a manager. Every day that goes by they will not find my purse. No one seems to care. I will not stay at this Holiday Inn again (nor will our team). I will complain to the softball tournament who recommended this hotel. Can anyone there help?
