Hallmark of NJ Inc. did my roof, but it's still leaking in the same spot. I've called them multiple times about the leak, and they've sent someone to patch it up. But every time it rains, the same thing happens. I'm still paying off the loan for the roof, and it's still leaking.

I signed a contract with Hallmark on 8/26 for stucco work on my backyard walls and cement work in my backyard and sidewalk. I gave them a deposit of $5000, which was paid on 8/27 according to my bank statement. Neal told me that the work would start in two weeks, but several people came by and looked at the work without giving me a starting date. Until now, no work has been done on my property. I asked for a full refund of my deposit, but Al, the owner, said that it's not going to happen. He keeps telling me to be patient and that the work will start soon, but no starting date has been given. As a single, senior *** American, I feel like I've been taken advantage of, and Hallmark hasn't been any help. I just want my money back. I'm frustrated and tired of waiting.

I got beef with Hallmark of NJ, Inc. They're located at 454 West Shore Drive, Brigantine, NJ 08203 (***. I hired them in early October to do some concrete work at two rental properties I own: *** and *** in Philadelphia,***. They asked for $2000 upfront and I paid it. They came two days later and did the excavation part of the job. But it's been over a month and they still haven't come back to pour the concrete and finish the job. I've been calling the owner (Allen) on *** every 2 or 3 days and he keeps telling me they'll be back the next day. But they never show up. The real problem is the trenches they dug for the concrete pouring. They're right next to where my tenants walk to get to their cars. I'm worried someone will trip and get hurt. My tenants have already complained to me and they're mad. This is hurting my business. I've asked Hallmark a bunch of times to put caution tape and plywood over the trenches, but they haven't done it. So yesterday I hired another contractor to finish the job. They came today and are pouring concrete. This will fix the trench problem. But now I want half of my deposit back because Hallmark only did half the job. That's $1000.

I picked this company 'cause Justin F, the salesman, said they could start the earliest. But, they changed the start date by 2.5wks, which was a bummer. Then, everything changed, from the crew to what they could do. It's hard to talk to them 'cause they don't return my calls and when I do talk to them, they rush me and make empty promises. The workers show up one week and then disappear the next. It's frustrating and unprofessional. They haven't finished any of the services I contracted them for, except the roof, which I didn't like, but they said my neighbors loved it. The customer service and workmanship is totally subpar!
