Greentec Auto had great prices for a re-manufactured hybrid battery. Their labor charges, installation time, and professionalism were really good! Auto repairs are never fun, but Greentec Auto made it as easy as possible!

Had a warranty issue, I emailed Greentec Auto on the weekend. First thing Monday morning, I got a phone call to schedule a visit. A guy named *** (who did the original battery replacement) from the *** office came that Wednesday and replaced the battery. He also checked numerous other things on our 2005 Prius. What great service! My wife wants to adopt *** now. A great example of excellent customer service. Highly recommend the Greentec Auto Folks.

I gotta say, Greentec Auto is the real deal. They know their stuff and they're not afraid to share it with you. I was freaking out when my battery died and I knew I had to replace it. I was thinking about going to my local dealer, but they were charging way too much. Greentec Auto was much more affordable and they walked me through the whole process. It was a huge relief to have someone who knew what they were doing help me out. I can't recommend them enough. Seriously, if you need a new battery, go to Greentec Auto. You won't regret it. Greentec Auto is awesome. I called them up and told them about my 2007 *** and its electrical issues with the hybrid system. They set me up with an appointment with their technician KC at their *** spot for the next day. KC scanned the computer and told me that the high voltage system battery was busted. It took about two hours to take out the old one and put in the new one. The price was way cheaper than what the *** dealer would charge. I was good to go. I totally recommend KC and Greentec Auto.

I liked the nice person I talked to when I set up the hybrid battery swap for my 2007 Camry. I had to change the appointment, but it was easy and fast, and they worked with my new schedule. The techs called me to tell me when they'd show up. I saw a video on YouTube about how to replace the hybrid battery, so I wanted to watch. The techs were cool with it and told me what they were doing as they did it. They were both nice, polite, and fast. It was a good time, and the people were great.

Greentec is great! Me and my wife have two 2006 Prius cars, we love them... they've been really good, served us well for 180k each. Eventually, both cars' batteries had to be replaced. Greentec's Hayward branch replaced the batteries in both with new cells, and a 4 year warranty. Very good price. They take less than 2 hours to finish the job, it was really handy to have the second car done at our home. The technician, Casey, runs a really clean shop, and when he did the work in our garage, he answered all questions I had while he completed the job.

I had to get a new battery for my 2012 Prius c, so I looked online and found Greentec. I called and talked to a specialist named ***, who was really helpful and set up an appointment for me. *** was really professional and even offered to replace the battery even though it was almost closing time. He swapped out the battery in just 20 minutes. Thanks to *** and Greentec for the great customer service. I hope my new battery lasts a long time! Now I know where to go for any Prius problems. I'll update this review in a year and let you know how the battery is holding up.

The web site is easy to use and has clear options. The guy who helped me was nice and patient. The main guy who did the work at the store in *** was really good. I paid for him to come to my house in Santa ***. He came on time, had a mask and gloves on, checked the old battery, told me what was wrong and what to do, and then put in the new battery. He drove the car to make sure it was working and told me how to keep it from breaking again. The guarantee is easy to read. Greentec Auto is a good company.

I had the "wrench" light come on in my 2007 *** Escape Hybrid. I took it to the local *** dealer, who charged $150 to tell me I needed a new hybrid battery--$800 in labor + $9000+ in parts. Not something we wanted to do in a car with ***+ miles. So we got on the internet, and found Greentec. Called and got an appointment the next day. Took the car in at 8:30 AM, had a diagnosis and proposal for a replacement battery by 9:00 (still free), and the work was done by 10:30--all for $4200, labor included. Note that we could have had it done for as little as $2000, but we opted for all-new cells in the battery. So, now we have a battery with a 36-month warranty, and who knows how long we'll be driving this thing? Fantastic service, and a ginormous price savings--who could want anything more?

My 2007 Prius hybrid battery needed replacing after 14 years and 120,000+ miles. I did a lot of research looking for a new high-quality hybrid battery with a good warranty. I found that Greentec Auto had a new battery with a 4 year warranty for less than any similar battery I could find, locally or online. I spoke with a representative on the phone, who placed the order and said I would be contacted about installation, as I needed mobile installation at my home, which is 4 1/2 hours from the nearest Greentec location in N.J. The store manager called me the next day and we set an appointment date. The technician arrived on the day and time scheduled. After a long drive, he was still friendly and helpful explaining it would take him approximately 1 hour to complete the job. He got to work immediately and 1 hour later had the new battery installed and the old codes cleared. The car drives great now, with much more power and the gas mileage is excellent again. Everyone I dealt with at Greentec was helpful and professional & I would definitely recommend them.

I recently purchased a reconditioned hybrid battery for my Honda. The staff of Greentec Auto was polite and knowledgeable. They arranged to have the work done in a timely manner. I am pleased with their service and would recommend them to others., Francis D.

Greentec totally relieved my stress after a ~$2,700 quote from the Toyota dealer for my 2005 Prius hybrid battery replacement. Before I called, I was trying to figure out how to replace the hybrid battery myself by watching Youtube videos and reading all of the blogs. When I called Greentec, I learned that for the same price as shipping the battery to and from my house (give or take), I could have them come to my house (5 hours away) to install it and have the labor warranted! Easy decision. The technician showed up at my house on time and in under an hour I was out on a test drive. John and Bruce were nothing but professional. They really are hybrid experts. I will definitely call them again if I have any trouble with my hybrid system.

I bought a battery from Greentec Auto on 07/15. They said it had a 24 month warranty and that they would replace it at my house. Chris, the tech, told me that. But then Austin said I had to pay $200 for the installation. When Daniel from Livingston called to schedule the work, he said "why are you paying if it's under warranty, this is new to me". I asked for Paul to call me, but he didn't. I haven't had a car for 2 weeks now. I don't want to do business with them anymore. I want my money back for the battery, $1706.00. They promised me something and now they're not delivering.

I went to Greentec Auto in *** on 10/20 to get a new battery for my 2009 *** Camry. The boss, ***, charged me $1,000 and put in a battery with a 2 year warranty. But now the battery doesn't work and I went back to Greentec Auto to get it fixed. They told me that their boss was taking parts and putting them in without the company knowing and he doesn't work there anymore. I called the main office and they said they won't replace the battery I bought. But I got it from their store and their worker sold it to me. As a customer, I think the company should be responsible for what their workers do and replace the battery like they said they would.

On 10/05, I asked Greentec Auto to check my *** Civic Hyprid. I told them what was wrong with the car and they only found codes P1601 and P1435 on their machine. On Friday 10/08, I drove a little further than before and the same problem happened again, even after the $2000 service. The car started hesitating like it was going to stop, so I pulled over and tried to call them, but the warranty person didn't answer. Today, they told me to take it to Auto Zone and their diagnostic machine gave me codes P0122 and P0700, which are Throttle and Transmission codes. I think their diagnostic machine only reads codes that will help them sell Hyprid Batteries and ignores other codes. If I had gotten a transmission code and a Throttle code on a *** car, I would have thought twice about the battery. They fixed the problem, but I had to pay a 20 percent restocking fee and something else, so I'm out $400.

me because it's been too long since the install. I'm disappointed with the lack of customer service and follow-up from GreenTec Auto. The installation seemed to be done properly at first, but the subsequent issues and lack of assistance have left me frustrated. The diagnostic fee was an unexpected expense, and I feel that GreenTec should have taken responsibility for the faulty installation. Overall, I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I bought 8 Valence U27-12XP batteries from Greentec Auto in December for my home in ***. The batteries arrived on December 28 and were installed on February 1. However, one battery was not working properly and was draining the other batteries, causing the system to shut down earlier than expected. I contacted Greentec, but they didn't respond until 5 days later, after I had returned to the States on February 7. They told me to return the battery for a replacement, but I couldn't do that since I was already back in the States. They then asked me to video the batteries so they could see the setup. I asked for a replacement to be sent and for them to charge me until I returned to ***. The replacement battery arrived and was shipped to ***, but when I arrived, 4 more batteries were faulty, making a total of 5. I am really upset and want a refund so I can find other batteries. I am disappointed and shipping back to the States is not worth it. The warranty was only 3 months. I sent photos and videos of the batteries to Greentec.
