This breeder does not provide any medical care for the puppies before selling them. She continually breeds female dogs with well known hereditary medical problems - inguinal hernias. Within 2 days of getting the dog, took to the vet and the vet said this dog had no prior care and the hernia was so bad the dog needed to be operated on at 10 weeks old. $800 later the dog is alive. Made breeder aware. She made up a story about going thru a divorce and not having any money. Stated I could "trade" dog for a different one and she would not do anything about dog with large life threatening hernia (either resell it or let it die- or breed it)
DO NOT DEAL WITH JESSICA AT GRACEFUL HEARTS DOG FARM IN BEACH CITY OHIO. She is a liar and a poor care taker of animals. I feel bad for the new litters she currently is advertising.

Your right I should have traveled 300 miles back to trade the dog so that the one I had chosen would die in her care with no medical attention. Think before you speak.

I have a few dogs from this breeder and couldn't have asked for better dogs. I have personally seen all of her dogs and look very healthy.. You should have traded the dog in if this was such a big deal to you. It's not the breeders fault the dog got a hernia. It's happens, it's not like she would have known the dog had a hernia or not. She obviously gave you the choice to get a new dog, and you chose not to.
