I'm not too happy with Goodrx Gold. I've been paying $9.99 for a few months now and I haven't seen any discounts on my prescriptions. It was easy to sign up, but now I'm not sure how to cancel my subscription. I'm thinking about canceling it altogether.

I tried out Goodrx Gold and I gotta say, it's not worth the money. You pay for a subscription but you don't even get a good discount on your meds. Most of the time, the free version of the service is cheaper. So not only are you paying for the "gold" service, but you're also paying more for your medication.

Honestly, save yourself some cash and just stick to the free version. It's way better than the "gold" one.

Was this a phishing scam to get my card info? It certainly looked like it to me.

Also, it would be helpful if the app could acknowledge when I'm already a gold member and show me the pricing without asking me to become a gold member again. Lastly, I've noticed that the app doesn't always keep track of the meds I've looked up, and I'm not sure why.

Another time, I needed a really strong antibiotic that had to be ordered. Kroger was going to charge me $99 (using GoodRxGold), but the GoodRxGold website showed that CVS had the same med for only $36. That's a savings of $33! So, once again, I transferred my prescription over to CVS.

But here's the thing: sometimes CVS charges more, so you really have to check the price for each med. And sometimes the actual cost at the pharmacy is a little different from the website coupon. But it's usually only a few dollars off, so it's not a big deal. And sometimes my insurance is actually a few dollars cheaper than the GoodRxGold price, so I don't always use it.

Overall, though, I've been really happy with GoodRxGold and I recommend it to everyone. It's saved me a ton of money and made my life a lot easier.
