Good Ranchers Not worth it!

Not worth it! They take couple people at a time and do their quick pitch at the back of a rental truck out of earshot and view. If we could of seen and heard while waiting in line we would of left. The 20 for 29 you think is in one box, its not there are only 10 in a box So if you get the package for 289 and free what you think is 20 fillets its 10. The 2 t-bones are half an inch at best. They got me, I should of known. No comments anywhere on facebook page, No information on website other than vague info and coming soon with no real info. And in the end even though the portions are a few ounces and I now know I got scammed the quality and taste of the beef, chicken and pork is not very good at all. If only I could of posted to social media to warn others, another warning sign this was bs, So buyer beware! If it sounds to good to be true...

I restarted my subscription, ordering $139.00 box. I got an email last night announcing it had come. We were home at 9:28 when the email came in and went straight to the front porch, but there was no box, and we've received nothing. I've contacted the company through their "contact us" form and have received NO response whatsoever. My next move is to stop payment through my bank or have them pursue the company for restitution. Good Ranchers I absolutely love this product, however, my husband and I subscribed to the family box for 229$ every four weeks

I absolutely love this product, however, my husband and I subscribed to the family box for 229$ every four weeks. the first box shipped and arrived on time, the second box has charged my bank nearly a week ago & I still have yet to receive any information that they have shipped that out. I am getting really frustrated with this company I have wrote 3 emails and all of them has gone unanswered. I want to know why they charged me for the second box four weeks later but I have still yet to see it. I had to come on ComplaintsBoard.com to even get a phone number which I just called and left a message because they have the line go directly to voicemail. I am starting to lose patience and I want to know where my 2nd box of family feast meat is and why they went ahead and charged my account nearly a week ago and still have yet to see any product. frustrated is an understatement

Simply AMAZING! the best beef my family has had in years. No more guessing at the market. Having eaten through our first delivery we are anxious for the next to arrive. Every cut was tender and tasty. No regrets! And their price is spot on.

I paid $203 for beef and got ripped off. Con man selling the steaks. Told me there were 20 steaks in a box and there were 10. Filets were 2 oz and filled w fat and chewy and filled with veins. Could not eat any of the filets and used for pulled beef sandwiches. Totally deceived. Would never buy these again. $203 is a lot of money.

The meat was fair. It did take forever to get it but with everything going on in the last year and a half, I understood. But when the last box came all the chicken was defrosted. I email them and their response was to just put it in the freezer. "It would be fine." The meat was not even cold anymore. I wasn't going to risk our health on bad meat. I threw it out and canceled my subscription.

Good Ranchers I originally was skeptical of the offer of 20 steaks for $29 but decide I would go and check it out, I ended up purchasing the 20 steaks for $29

I originally was skeptical of the offer of 20 steaks for $29 but decide I would go and check it out, I ended up purchasing the 20 steaks for $29 and their smaller bundle, one box of steaks a box of chicken is included (40 breasts) about 10 days ago from Good Ranchers. We enjoyed several meals and I thought I had missed my opportunity to fill my freezer up. When I got up this morning, I saw they were still in our area and because I was so pleased with the quality of their product I went back today and purchased 1/2 beef. I love the packaging and portion size, very little fat or waste on any of the cuts of meat, and the meat itself is delicious. I have sent several friends and family members there to purchase product also, it is an easy location to go to in Las Vegas at the Meadows Mall (Macy's side) and their staff is friendly and very helpful. Thank you Good Rancher!

Good Ranchers My husband and I had seen the Good Ranchers truck several times at the Baybrook Mall before we decided we would give it a try

My husband and I had seen the Good Ranchers truck several times at the Baybrook Mall before we decided we would give it a try. I am SO glad we finally took a chance and gave it a try. With COVID 19 going on, sometimes the grocery stores don't have the cuts of meat you want, so we figured we'd give Good Ranchers a try. When we went, they were running a huge deal on their "Ranchers Choice" box that gave you $100 off the original price! The box was full of quality and delicious meat, plus with the deal you also received a free box of several differently seasoned chicken breasts and a box of filets! Also, did I mention that they work with and donate to the local food bank?! Absolutely amazing and friendly people working there. The guys who assisted us obviously enjoyed their jobs and work hard to bring their customers great product with fantastic customer service. If you have a chance to purchase from this organization please do!

Do not buy from this company they are not legit. I ordered on line and paid $179.00 for 10 lbs. and was sent the wrong meat package which was the package that costs less than I paid. I paid for the Cattleman package and received the Ranchers classic instead. No phone number to call, no email response so I am stuck with out a refund or refund for the difference. Never order from a company that has no phone number and does not have addresses and customer care. Beware!

Good Ranchers Went to Torrance, CA Del Amo pop up

Went to Torrance, CA Del Amo pop up. The banner says choice and prime USDA. They only sell in premade boxes but somehow they ran out of certain cuts out of these premade boxes. They swapped a few things out and we decided they advertise choice to prime and donate to a good cause let's try it. Biggest mistake ever. We got home we are putting meat in the freezer and 90% of the steaks were select grade which wasnt even advertised anywhere. 1 pack was choice. 1 pack wasnt even graded! Just labled as "premium". I was hesitant to even cook it but i finally thawed a couple things out to cook. Worst quality I've ever seen. The hamburgers had little pieces of bone and gristle. The steaks were butchered so poorly with so much gristle and some of them were multiple small pieces just vacuum packed together. You can't tell since its frozen solid when they show it to you. Stay away from this company. Reading the reviews I wasn't the only one scammed.

Based on a sponsored ad broadcast on the *** radio program, regarding the high quality meat offered by GoodRanchers, I was interested in exploring what the company had to offer. On their website we found a Popup Tent location near us in Conroe, TX. I drove there and the salesman explained to us the meat quality was either Prime or Choice and proceeded to open an assortment of boxes he obtained from his refrigerated truck. The frozen meat looked good, however, we observed the filets were rather small and the T-bone steaks were very thin (it would take two of them to make the thickness of an average sized steak). The salesman convinced us we would be very happy with the quality of the meat and if not satisfied we could contact them and we could return the product for a refund. I have sent three emails to the company and have yet to receive a response. This past weekend I prepared a T-bone steak (medium rare) and was extremely disappointed since it was tough and chewy, not what one would expect from either a Prime or Choice steak. I would like a refund of my $291.00!

Good Ranchers Not very impressed

Not very impressed. I responded to a 20 Filets for $29 radio ad. To get THAT deal, you have to buy a bigger package. The guy showed me a package of T-bones (maybe 1/2 thick), sirloins, 4 ribeyes, a few larger tenderloins, and told me $189 for all, including the 20 filets. There was nothing in the package he showed me that was ground or pre-seasoned/marinaded.. I thought, what the heck. Bought it, loaded up, mentioned to him there was only 10-count box of the filets, and he told me the others were in my larger, unopened box. I shouldn't have taken his wird for it. Got home, did an inventory, 10 missing Filets, no ribeyes. There was however chopped beef (hamburgers) and peppercorn steaks- So missing 4 ribeyes and 10 filets. I would not have bought this stuff. I did the math. I got 11.53 lbs of beef at a cost of (not counting tax) $16.39/lb. I would have been better off to go to the local meat market. Have not tried any of it yet. Hopefully it is better than some of these recent reviews show, or I will really feel taken advantage of, which is when the word of mouth advertising will come into play.

Good Ranchers Husband had seen the trucks and advertisements for years

Husband had seen the trucks and advertisements for years. I finally went on 7/3 and got convinced to buy a package. Yes, it looks like a lot of meat and worth the deal because he opens everything up in front of you. However, once you get home and start unpacking, you realize how little it actually is and that the box he opened was far different than the box he gave you. First off, I was promised that I was getting two boxes of the filets and didn't get any. Then the steaks- there were only two. Nothing is labeled once you take them out of the boxes, so plan on having enough room in your freezer for the boxes too. We do like the taste of the meats, but everything is so small. I would strongly advise against going to them. We got taken for $300 when we could have used that money for more important things, like bills and actual groceries. Seems like there are many more scammers now that Covid is going on. BTW- I contacted the company the same day I got home about the missing box. They waited to respond until they were gone from my area. Then I emailed and they said they would send me a check for only $17.50. Seems like we should be reimbursed way more than that.

Good Ranchers 20 steaks for $35 not bad quality for the price

20 steaks for $35 not bad quality for the price. On the other hand, I went for the seafood box just to try them out since in the webpage they state: "Prime Seafood: Our seafood is wild caught, cut and packaged at sea. Green rated for sustainability." Well, that statement needs to have some small letters somewhere that I didn't catch up because this seafood has never seen the sea. The package came with four different products: salmon, snapper, trout, and shrimp, of all four products, two of them specifically state in the package that they are farm raised (salmon and shrimp), the other two omit this and have no labeling. I decided to give the salmon a try and found that it still had pin bones all over it and the quality of the cut was not the best. With my experience I suspect that the trout is also farm raised due to its fat content from being fed high-fat foods and having less space to swim to burn said fatty food. For the snapper, most likely wont even try since the fillets look like tilapia, which is a highly farmed fish. In conclusion, the seafood box is not worth the $132.87 that I was charged due to the misleading and scarce information that the company gives the customer to base its decision.

Good Ranchers I responded to an ad and placed an order on Aug

I responded to an ad and placed an order on Aug. 15. The ad said my order would be shipped the week of Aug. 31. I sent an e-mail asking about my order and was told that they are in Southeast Texas and due to a storm they wouldn't be able to ship until the week of Sept. 14. Still no delivery. I inquired again and was told that due to another hurricane they couldn't get the supplies to ship. After that I didn't get responses to my e-mails. In the meantime I saw that Good Ranchers was selling out of trucks in the Houston area. I find it odd that they couldn't get the shipping boxes to send me my order but they could sell from the trucks. On 09/26 I sent an e-mail stating that if my order had not been shipped then I was cancelling. I called my credit card company and disputed my charge. I still didn't get a response. On 10/05 I received an e-mail stating that my order was complete and had shipped. Obviously they didn't read my e-mail and cancel my order. When I did receive my order it was shipped out of Illinois, not Southeast Texas. To this date, 10/12, I still have not received a response. I asked in my e-mail how to return the order. Due to the pandemic I don't know if they want me to return my order.

Good Ranchers I went to the Greenwood Mall parking lot in Indiana and purchased a package for $336

I went to the Greenwood Mall parking lot in Indiana and purchased a package for $336. The guy Jed cheated me out of one of my boxes. He also added a $30 tip to the bill. I went back to the tent and he said I got a crowd, can't help you. He also told me if I am going to rude than I can have a nice day. I was not rude, I wanted what I paid for and it would have been a simple to just give me the box that I paid for earlier. During the demonstration, he said if you heard about us on the radio than you get the filets free, if you buy the package. He never said only 10 or half of the special. I asked if I could buy another special and he said I can sell you half of one for $15. He moved the boxes around during the demonstration and was using distraction to trick people. I purchase the package and the extra 10 filets. I cannot believe that I fell for this trickery. I went home and put my meat away and noticed that I did not have one of my boxes. So I returned to the tent where Jed was still demonstrating to the crowd. When I returned he tried to be slick and change what he said to me. Wow, why wouldn't you want to make it right for $15. The meat is so small and the filets were tough to eat. So buyer beware... This company should watch out for who represents them. I will never buy from them again.

We went to the mall in Cleveland Tn on July 3rd and seen the good rancher signs and tents at the back of a rental Ryder truck, thinking we would get some steaks to grill for holiday. Bad bad mistake for us stopping, the guy starts pushing the bigger package deal, he and his helper start unloading boxes of various their meats, proceeds to tell us how much we would be getting, plus 2 free boxes chicken, lead us to think it would fill up our freezer for $479.00 package deal, so we thought we give it a try...Well thats B.S. it would only fill freezer if you leave it boxes and have a small size freezer. We emptied meat out of boxes ,then find nothing is labeled. So on July 4th I get the filet mignon out to thaw to grill, upon opening them we very disappointed, they were all tiny pieces of some sorta something, sure wasn't filet mignon, and tuff as shoe leather, no flavor what so ever, even trying to sprinkle season on them still couldn't choke them down. So we tried 2 each of rest of the variety of meats, just to give a fair opportunity, thinking maybe the rest would be better, WRONG, all of it is awful. This is a total rip off, and false advertising. We could have taking the $479.00 plus the $10.00 tip my husband felt pressured into adding on and could have went to Food city for good quality meat along with all the other groceries we needed.. Then to top it off, they want to take our picture for their big 1st sale of the morning, and send to their boss. Again B.S. he only sent that to boss to show they fooled another customer. People beware, don't fall for this crap. Don't waste your money on Good Rancher meats. Never again for us.

Good Ranchers When I saw the ad for Good Ranchers on Facebook, I told my husband we should give them a try

When I saw the ad for Good Ranchers on Facebook, I told my husband we should give them a try. They had a pop up tent location and we went. We were very pleased with the friendly staff and the knowledge they had for their product. When we got home, we decided to have some of the steaks for dinner. Again, we were very pleased. We shared some of the product with our neighbor. After about a month, we went to the pop up again and told them how happy we were and wanted the same pkg we got the first time. We mentioned we had helped out our neighbor and they doubled my pkg at no charge. After some time, I saw they now had online ordering and decided to try it as they were unsure when they would be back in Vegas. Per my conversation with a Fedex representative, when the pkg arrived, they said it had been damaged in shipping and was unable to be delivered and therefore destroyed. I contacted GR immediately and not only did they send me a new pkg., they refunded my money. After about 4 days, my pkg arrived. The product was completely thawed but still cool to the touch. The bottom of the box as well as the individual boxes were wet as if it were sat in water. I immediately contacted GR and they told me to go to the pop up tent and pick up a pkg there. I got the pkg and was given a box of their Kobe burgers at no charge. We decided to have the burgers for dinner and were very happy. The burgers were huge. They were not only delicious, they didn't shrink up like the store bought burgers. The customer service has always been satisfactory. Whenever I had a question or concern, I was able to contact GR and get a reply the same day. Many times within an hour if not minutes. I have recommended GR to my friends and family.

Was told we would be getting a side of beef for $799.00 and what we got was 40lbs of meat, went back to the tent to get it corrected and they gave us some ground beef and a case of breast. In the email they sent me they said they would make up the weight difference for a side of beef and they didn't. A side of beef has ribs and roasts to it and we didn't get any if that.

This was advertised on the internet as a tent sale in the parking lot of ***, thus no specific address came up when I did the search in ComplaintsBoard.com. I was sold a 1/4 of a cow and 2 boxes of chicken. I left with 2 boxes of beef and 2 boxes of chicken. I paid 499.00. When I got home, and opened the boxes, I received less than 25 lbs of beef and 30 lbs of chicken. They told me it was 1/4 of a cow, which is totally false advertising. I did some research after and discovered that I got about 160.00 worth of beef and chicken. So, in other words, you start with a 1200 pound steer, which has a dressing percent of 63%, so that you have a 750 pound carcass. From that you will get about 65% of the carcass weight, or roughly 490 pounds, as boneless, trimmed beef. 1/4 of that should be 122.5 lbs and I got less than 25 lbs. I should received 4.9 times the amount I got. I was also told I was being given one box of chicken. but I wanted more than one box. The rancher added 100.00 for the second box of chicken, bringing the total to 499.00. I also think that the cost of the 2nd box of chicken was outrageous. I also watched the rancher who sold me the beef, get really mean and nasty with another possibly unsatisfied customer. On top of all of this, we waited in 100 deg heat for well over 1 1/2 hours and there was only 9 people in line in front of us. Several people including my wife got heat stroke and had to sit in our car. We were totally taken advantage of

I purchased a the Rancher Pack with the understanding, based on the advertising at the location and on Facebook, that there were also 20 fillets for $29 available for purchase - no qualifications or other restrictions. Upon returning home, I discovered that they had only packed 10 fillets in the order. I attempted to call the company, but the phone number went unanswered, to voicemail, and I have not heard anything back from them at this point. I would like to return my order with a full refund of $292.50, based on deceptive advertising and not receiving what was promised.

Good Ranchers I purchased $200 worth of meat products from a pop-up location

I purchased $200 worth of meat products from a pop-up location. Their *** and the sales man falsely advertised the quality and the weight of the product. For instance, I was told the filets are 4 oz, when in fact only 1 or 2 of them are that weight. The rest are 2.5 oz I was told "thick restaurant quality steaks" and told that when defrosted ans out if the wrapping, the NY steaks and TBones would be a think cut. They are Not. They so thin that the middle of the steak is well done before the meat near the bone is past rare, not to mention a weird sludge that appears on the meat.

At the Glendale, AZ pop up location I was told that I purchased 3.25 lbs of pork ribs, 2 lbs of t-bone steaks, 2 pounds of chopped beef steaks, 2 lbs of beef tenderloin tips, 1.75 lbs of beef tenderloin steaks, and 2.19 lbs of thick cut beef filets all in total for $189 before tax and credit card fee. There were numerous problems with this order when I returned home. 1) Thick cut beef filets weighed a total of 1.13 lbs, almost half the weight of what I was sold. 2) I was told the t-bone steaks were thick cut, instead they were thinly cut and poor meat quality. 3) the beef tenderloin steaks were discolored and had a sludge on them. After these very big issues with my order I don't feel comfortable with the rest of the meat.

Good Ranchers ON 5/6, I visited a Good Ranchers LLC pop up store at the Harford Mall in Bel Air, Maryland

ON 5/6, I visited a Good Ranchers LLC pop up store at the Harford Mall in Bel Air, Maryland. I was intrigued by the sign that advertised "20 for $35 Filets" and decided to stop in to see what all the hype was about. I got a quick sales pitch from the salesman who opened up a big box to show me all the smaller boxes inside totaling "1/8th of a cow". Should've known then it was too good to be true. I got home to find out that they sell by "serving size" rather than pieces or cuts of meat. The 20 for $35 filets were only 10 to a box, and so small my infant could eat one whole. Furthermore, I bought an 1/8th of a cow that turned out to be only 10 pounds of meat. Absurd. Tried to return it, got a bunch of grief from the salesman, conveniently off their camera. Spoke with 5 different people within the company. All offering no solution other than going back to their hostile salesman to return their product. Total scam, and absolutely terrible customer service.

Good Ranchers On August 31st I order online the "family feast bundle" in the amount of 229.00

On August 31st I order online the "family feast bundle" in the amount of 229.00. According to the website the product would ship within 3 to 5 business days. On Sept 3rd I sent an email to inquire when the package would be shipping out, seeing the status online was stating in process and they hit my credit card for 229.00. I received a response that day stating, "We do apologize for the delay. We're trying to get everything out this week." Then I sent another email on 9/5 and they changed the original date to "we are working to ship out as soon as possible. September 14th at the latest." Seeing i needed this by the 19th I sent another email on 9/10. The email stated, if you cannot send this out by no later than 14th, please refund me my money. I received another prompt reply, "it will ship by the 14th. Now it's the 15th and the site still states "in Process.". I sent an immediate refund request and now they are ignoring me. This company is dishonest and untrustworthy. I just want my 229.00 refunded back to the credit card.

Good Ranchers This was advertised on the internet as a tent sale in the parking lot of ***, thus no specific address came up when I did the search
