Run around with ARS
Hello I am Robert Larson here in Roseburg, OR. I got a reinstatement. That went well Friday, funds transferred ok. Then the problem started with ARS. ARS is closed over the weekend and your staff informed me to call ARS at [protected]. At 6AM pacific time. That person said that there was no record of a Repo... or info on my vehicle and put me on hold for 38 minutes! Then they came on and said they found me and to hold on... I called the impound lot that ARS told me in Eugene, Oregon... No vehicle, no information. So I called GM back... told then what was going on that I was upset that my vehicle was missing! I Found LeadFoot Recovery... so I called them... got thru at 9:50AM PDT... They said they did not receive any release and i'm not going to be able to get my vehicle back... I got an Unidentified call from ARS (Asset Recovery Service) wanting me to send them $3,500 using an Amazon or I Tunes Card?...
Desired outcome: Apology from ARS and I lost 4 hours of work!!!!!
GM Financial is inefficient
I made an updated about my bank account information at June 22, attached with bank information screenshot. Unfortunately, GM Financial didn't updated my account until currently (July 28). The email sent to them and I received the reply successful, they lied that not get it when I asked GM Financial. Meanwhile, they gave me lots of troubles to update the bank information. And didn't update now. I feel shocked about GM Financial's professional and efficient.
FRUSTRATED AND UPSET ABOUT GM FINANCIAL!
Crooks, liars and predators
My car was repossessed with 10 dats to pay $4418.10 after 4 days of getting the complete run around and getting all kinds of wrong information I finally was able to get the complete payment made and they transport my darn car to auction anyway. Today I here the payment was to keep it from being sold not transported.
GMC you are the worst of the worst. I will be putting my story everywhere I can. I asked rep#26769 if I could speak with supervisor it request my calls pulled and listed to. I was told she was in a meeting when I heard her in the background.
You are liars
You are crooks
You are predators
My title
My car was paid off in Feb. I have called GM financial more than 8 times asking where my title is. I have also talked to two supervisors, in which one told me that it would be sent to me in the mail over night. That was 3 months ago! I called again yesterday and was told for the 6th time now, that it wasn't released and it will be sent to me and I should receive it in 7 to 10 days. This is illegal as it should be sent out within 30 days of the payoff! It should not take 5 months to still be waiting on title for a car that I have paid for. Something needs to happen as this is someone's livelihood and should not have to deal with such stress as this. They should be held accountable and do their job. Supervisors should be taking care of this situation in a fast, timely matter. This is unacceptable!
Desired outcome: My title sent to me NOW.
Repo of vehicle even with being over paid for one month
I spoke to erica (team leader) in the commercial collections
Pam, sandy
Per erica no one else can help me and she makes the choices.
Now I am doing my best to get help I asked for a spanish speaking supervisor and was told gmc financial doesn't have any in her department. And ended nap hanging up on me.
I would like to file a complaint. I will get an attorney to help me if I need to.
1st a lie about a paper that was sent to me. No record of papaer sent
2. I payed to the end of july 2023 with understanding at that time I could and would completely pay car off or extend the lease...
I am not the most educated in writing I am educated enough to get a lawyer to help me file a discrimination suit also for all fees nfor my car get repo all fees and losses from work
Desired outcome: CAR returned FEES WAIVED AND ERICA TEAM LEADER TO BE LOOKED INTO
Vehicle 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer
My son purchased a vehicle in 2017 a brand new 2017 Mitsubishi lancer. Shortly after that he went into treatment at a veterans hospital in Milwaukee. At that time I was power of attorney for him and still am. He has never missed a payment. He has been late due to being locked out of his online account. He always pays more because I make most of the payments for him. It is almost impossible to get through to somebody and when you do you have to give up your first born child to get a customer service person. We just made another $470 payment. And I keep getting calls seeing I have had the calls forwarded to me because in the stress that it causes because he has PTSD is overwhelming. I am so tired of these rip-off artists. They keep adding interest my son informed me that they threaten to repossess and he has never missed a payment. The overage is interest payments from when we couldn't get in the account when they were updating the system which was a long time ago. We have receipts of payments. They keep asking for more payments to take it out of default which is BS. They should be put out of business.
This car was purchased from mad City Mitsubishi and then shortly they are there after they had to stop selling vehicles. I don't know for eligible for part of the class action suit but we certainly should be.
Desired outcome: Relief of the rest of the payments and the interest that they say is behind taking off and stop harassing phone calls because we've never missed a payment
Auto lease
Auto lease extra charge for over mileage when extending a lease, which is only waived if I purchase another GM vehicle but not if I leave the GM car company
This is a copy of an email that I sent to the CEO of GM, Mary Barra. They told me that it is not their responsibility (seems to be the mantra of GM) and it is the responsibility of GM financial. I have gotten no where with GM financial, hence my complaint. GM has no cars for me (I understand that this is COVID-19 related.). I was forced to extend my lease as a result. When I spoke with GM financial they did not inform me that this extension in my lease would not include an extension in the mileage used and so am being kept on the original contracted mileage amount for 36 months, although, I will likely have the care for 42 months. 2 plus months into my extension I received a letter stating that mileage is not included and will be charged at the return of the car unless I lease/purchase another GM vehicle.
I called GM financial to see if they would waive this fee, especially since the dealer states that you may not even have a vehicle for me at that time and I may need to go with another company. GM financial, essentially told me “tough luck” and if I have issue with it, then so should call EV concierge and they would help me. I called EV concierge and you told me that you have nothing to do with GM financial. This feels like extortion to force me to lease another GM vehicle or I will be forced to pay for over-mileage. I am saddened as to what has become of GM. I am a GM customer for over 20 years owning at least 2 GM cars at a time. Rhis seems to be the “new” GM and it is no longer acting American.
I have already purchased 2 Hyundai’s for my 2 daughters, due to the lack of vehicles available (I am amazed at their customer service, as it reminds me of the “old” GM service.
2013 captiva
The captiva has the same engine as the other vehicles you are already being sued over, it’s a known mechanic issue, I have already spoke with multiple captiva owners who attempted to get there vehicles fixed and was ignored so I assume this email is pointless and another lawsuit from those of us that already haven’t sued is the only way to accomplish anything but I figured I would see if you are willing to replace your defective engine and provide alternative transportation while it’s being done or exchange the vehicles prior to us filing a lawsuit
Desired outcome: Replace the engine or exchange the vehicle

I requested a payoff quote on 3/11/23. I mailed the check with a copy of the quote like it said to do on the same day to the address on the quote.
P.O. Box 183581, Arlington, TX [protected].
I called today after 11 days and they are telling me they have not received it yet. The check was for $25,123.43 and the quote was good until today. I can't believe it takes that long to get to you in the mail.
Desired outcome: For someone to find this check and cash it and send me my lein release.
Release of Title
I purchased my leased car in December of 2022. It is now March of 2023 and I have yet to receive my title. After several calls to customer service, conversations with Supervisors, being led every which direction, being lied to that the title was shipped when it was in fact not, I am still running into issues getting MY title sent me. A title that is rightfully MINE since I paid off the vehicle.
This has to be borderline illegal, I will be looking further into this.
Will never recommend GM Financial, in fact I will go out of my way to make sure none of my friends, family, or acquaintances get involved with them.
Desired outcome: I want my title
Credit reporting
Hi
I am asking if you go in to my account and take a late payment off to my due to having a financial hardship. It case my credit score to tank in a down ward spiral. I am in process of trying to secure housing for myself and my son at the end of the month. And due to this mark on my credit I will not be able to get housing so we will be homeless. I did also submit a letter to you account service department. And everyone I spoke to is unwilling to help me.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response this is a matter of importance
Account
I have been lock out of my account for three weeks now. Do to your system update. Know one has called me back when they said that they would. You guys want me to payment but. I can't get log into my account. I will be going to the news with this and then I'm going to sue you guys. Everyone from customer services to mgr has lied to me. And all I want to login to my account. You can reach out to me Traci [protected]
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and apologize to what I have experiences this is absurd and ridiculous because it shows me that GM Financial doesn't care about their member's just the car payment
If this is not done soon I will see you in court!
Customer service and payment
Ok November 10 and the 12th of 2022 a payment for 752.13 was taken from my bank since it was a double payment I had one payment stopped. Now, I have never missed a payment or been late. The next month I go to make a payment and the app tells me my bank account is blocked because of a stopped payment. I used a second bank account to make a payment that looked like it went through only to find out the payment didn't clear and the app is telling me oh this bank account is blocked too. Not a bounced check, but the app couldn't find the bank account. So now I have a late charge with no notice till January 2023. So, please explain how to resolve this issue other than me having to open a new bank account because of an error that was not mine.
Desired outcome: unblock my bank account and allow me to pay my payments in peace
Loan satisfied
I contacted customer service after my loan was satisfied of 72 months. I was informed that I requested an extension on payments for two months in 2022, although I never signed or accepted the extension to my knowledge or my documentation. I continued to make scheduled payments. Sometimes I would be late but would include my late fee each time I was late. I caught all of my payments up sometimes doubling and tripling payments if needed. Now that my loan is satisfied, I am told I owe an additional 1000.00 for the extension but it is not adding up. My monthly payments are $602... When I called to inquire about the release of my title the representative immediately sent me a late notice via email that evening, changed and reported the account to the credit bureau as delinquent for 2300 + dollars. The next day I called back, I was placed on hold for over 45mins without a resolution or a single care in the world from the representative. The next I checked the account hoping that maybe someone had listened and just resolved the account; however, I was sadly, mistaken and truly disgusted instead of 100% satisfied on the account, the account had now been updated to 99% satisfied with 1 payment of 1055.00 owe and marked overdue. Now today it's 1066...everyday it is increasing and adding undue stress that is not needed.
Desired outcome: I would like for this account to be satisfied and my title released I have paid all monies owed. Further, I think I am owing an apology for the rude and crude behavior of the staff.
Account Login: 10/03/2022
Tried more than several times to login in, but no success even after working with an agent.
I want to pay my car lease using Auto Pay like I've done on previous leases. Agents can not set this feature up and personally I'm frustrated with your online process.

10/07/2022: I have no idea what additional information you need. Your complaint system is as frustrating as what I've already dealt with trying to use the Financial site or phones.
Desired outcome: Link the current lease with the previous one so auto pay will work or use other source to provide this feature.
Help with changing the auto pay checking account
GM Financial account #[protected] Rosanne E. Miller
My husband passed away on 8/21/2022. I called GM 8/24/22022 last week to have his account (6639) taken off the auto pay, and mine (2701) added on the auto pay.
The representative walked me through this process. She guaranteed that this was corrected.
Unfortunately, the auto pay tried to pull from the 6639 account today 8/29/2022.
The representative I spoke to today was not very helpful. when I hung up, I realized that I could delete the old 6639 auto pay and set up a new auto pay for 2701. I think now there will be a auto pay today and another one on 8/30/2022.
Please explain?
Thank you

Late payment reported on lease payment
At the end of my previous lease (Sept 2021) I called GM Financial to confirm the dealership should make the final payment on the lease since I was going to return the vehicle and start another lease. Whoever I spoke to at GM Financial confirmed this was true so I did as instructed and did not make the final payment. GM Financial then called me after the due date and I explained what I was told and that the dealership would make the payment and they said fine. The dealership took a while to make the payment (2 weeks late) and GM Financial then reported a late payment for me to the credit bureau. I called GM Financial to have this removed and I was told there was no late payment reported and they would send me a letter confirming. When I received the letter it did show a late payment which contradicts what the representative from GM Financial originally told me. I then called GM back to discuss and they said there was nothing they could do about removing the report of the late payment since I was responsible for the payment. I explained why the payment was not made, but they still refused. I have not once made a late payment in the 4+ years I have been a customer.
Desired outcome: The only solution is for GM Financial to send a correction to the credit bureau removing the late payment reported last year.
