In November of 2010, I missed my court date with Gamache and Myers and had a judgement against me, it was around 800$ or so that they were sueing for. In November of 2011, I began making monthly payments of $50 to pay them off, I figured whatever, $50 a month isn't a lot, but it would keep them off my back. In December 2012, I lost my job and was in contact with Gamache and Myers about this, they asked me about 4 times when I'd be able to make a payment, I told them I didn't know and they promised that if I called them and kept in touch with them, everything would be fine and I could continue making payments when I got a job.
It's April, 2012, and I still haven't found a job yet, my phone is about to run out of minutes and I was counting on the $51 in my bank accounts to get more minutes in order to keep calling up on my applications, well, to my dismay and sheer horror, I logged into my bank account to see both my savings and checking accounts were negative around $536.99 each... each one had been charged the same amount in order to clean me out. I had spoken with someone at Gamache and Myers in March and they didn't even hint to or allude that this was going to happen, "Just check in with us every month and let us know what's going on, and if you can make a payment." BTW, I'm still fighting for my unemployment benefits, but without a phone, I doubt I'll be able to do that now...
I called Gamache and Myers today, apparently they had begun Garnishment proceedings before the conversation in march even took place... Gee, don't ya think they should've mentioned something like that? ya know, give me a little fair warning? But no, here I am, -$1077.98... I should sue them AND Capital one together for emotional damages, and I'd probably win too.
I paid them about $600 from Jan 2012 to December 2012, the debt was for $800~, you think they'd leave it alone after that, eh?
Anyone know a lawyer that would sue them Pro-Bono? Seeing as how I have no money now thanks to the unethical practices of Gamache and Myers, and apparently, i'm not the only one to suffer from their injustices... If anyone knows a Lawyer that would sue them Pro-Bono my email is [protected]@yahoo.com, thanks!
An Update, I called them today to find out where the extra $350 came from, and they couldn't give me a straight answer, in fact, they all but beat around the bush trying so damn hard not to call me a deadbeat... I called them out on it. They can't be allowed to get away with that, I need help from SOMEONE, PLEASE!

A) I'm trying to find someone to sue them Pro-Bono, you know what that means? They only get paid if we win... I don't have money to go and sue them, hence why i'm trying to find someone to sue them Pro-Bono (it's the 21st century, learn some legal terms, jeez)
B) I'm unemployed because some little 19 y/o little girl that got wrongfully promoted to be my lead didn't do her job when she said she'd do something, Seriously. I was fired because something wasn't done the night before, I had asked her to help me out, 3 times, she said "kay, i'll do it" and when I wanted to check to see if the work was done "No, i did it, sign out." was the response, imagine my dismay when I found out she, [gasp] didn't do it! Imagine that? A Biased 19y/o girl that's gone on a power-trip with her new position, said she'd do the job I asked for her help with, she already didn't like me personally, she saw this as her way of getting me fired, and BTW, she was almost immediately demoted after I was fired, and about a month ago, she was fired for not doing her job. Imagine that?
Tldr, I'm not a "lowlife" as you put it, I'm a hard working American that's been out of work for 3 months and been wrongfully denied unemployment benefits with which I WOULD pay my bills with... Add to that the mental anguish that, even if I DID get a job, my accounts would be so horribly in the negative, I would be working for months to catch it up... I only owed them $200~ when I lost my Job, the fact that they don't have a reasonable excuse for the extra $350 leads me to believe they're just money-grubbing [censored]s who love getting paid to squeeze people for money and call them deadbeats... I bet you anything I do more work in a single day physically than they do in a damned week...
I don't pay for Internet - I don't have a car, I have to come up with money each month to keep my phone active in order to call jobs back for interviews.
And no, Faking my death wouldn't solve the situation... Looking for a bit more adult responses than "Pay them LOWLIFE" and "Fake your death" ...Jesus...

It's not excuses, you know how to find a job in this day and age? THE INTERNET! about 95% of the workforce has moved their hiring process online, get with the times and stfu.
And uh, did you miss the part where the 19y/o girl got FIRED FOR NOT DOING HER JOB CORRECTLY?! At least I knew ALL aspects of the lead position which she got, and which she didn't, obviously, because she got fired for not knowing how to do her job...
Stupid little girls shouldn't apply for jobs they don't know how to get just because she brown-noses the boss like no one else... I was disqualified from the position on a small technicality, If I were still there, I would be lead now, I was the next-qualified person they could conceviably go to to replace her.
I'm being generous when I called her a 19y/o girl, physically, she was 19, mentally, I'd say she had the personality of a 10 year old brat... She couldn't even take voting seriously either... I don't trust anyone that SERIOUSLY (and I saw the phone pic) voted for "hello kitty" for president and "Jimmy Johns Sandwiches" for vice president of the United States...
As for your "excuses" do you know how many online applications i've called in reference of today? 15, and counting, go back to Hungary you 16 year old twirp...
@ Prince, yeah, I heard about that too... Shameful when the Justice system actually works for Criminals who admitted to actively committing a crime while sueing the victim... [facepalm]
Even still, this group's behaviour is still intensely negative.
@tasha, you obviously ignored the part where she later got fired for doing exactly what I said, she wasn't fit for the job... She didn't do her job... She had this little problem with being on her cell phone all night long at work instead of doing the work she needed to do...
@tasha, It's called Multi-tasking, I'm a very proficient Multi-tasker, I can sit here and argue with you while I fill out 4-5 online job applications, I can even talk on the phone to call people about my applications WHILE i'm sitting here arguing with you...
Just because you're a 16 y/o girl and live with your parents and have them drive you places doesn't mean the rest of the internet is the same as you...

BTW, when 19 year old women ACT like 10-year old girls, they deserve to be treated as such, BTW, she did get fired, I'm still in touch with everyone I worked with there (sans her) and they all say she was fired for not doing her job. It's kinda hard to argue with the facts, especially since I've met her replacement...
She was the lead in my building, basically, she was in charge, as such, she's supposed to help anyone who asks for it (BTW, the manager promised me that if I asked for help, i'd get it, lot of good that did) I asked her, THREE TIMES, if she'd help me out and take care of ONE LITTLE AREA that i didn't have enough time to get to, she said, three times, "Yeah, i'll do it" and at the end of the night, when I asked her if she did it, "Yeah, I did it, you don't need to check for yourself, sign out and leave" ...that has intent written all over it.
A grown woman doesn't act like a 10-year old brat, when my female friends were 18-19, they acted a whole hell of a lot more mature than this girl...
It's not that I don't respect women, I just don't like stuck-up twirps who don't do their jobs...

As for the situation at hand, I might have landed a job today (Surprise, even though I was arguing with a troll, I managed to make a good impression on someone! What are the odds [/sarcasm])
Even still, I might file a Ch.7 and start from scratch, I think it'd be better that way anyways.
You don't know the whole story you 16 year old brat. This 18-19 year old acts like she is ten years old. You know what she did she broke up my marriage. I asked her out on a date because I found her attractive. You know what she did she turned down. That is okay but then she told my wife that I asked her out. She taped me without my permission and then showed the proof to my wife. My wife found out I was attempting to cheat on her and she divorced me and she got money from me. I have to support my ex. This 18-19 year old brat ruined my life and she got fired for talking on the phone at night when she was supposed to be working. I don't mind her turning me down. But this brat did something a ten year old would do. She told my wife I was asking her out on a date. She did not need to do this. She ruined my life. She ruined my marriage and I want to sue her. If that is not acting like a ten year old what is.
