And then there's the donation thing. I don't mind supporting a good cause, but it's a bit annoying when they ask for money every few screens. Like, let me actually learn something before you start hitting me up for cash, you know?

But despite all that, I have to say that the community on FreeCodeCamp is really great. When I used the site a few years ago, I got a lot of help and support from other users, which was awesome. But when I came back recently, I was a bit put off by all the trash talking and general negativity. I mean, I get that people like to joke around and stuff, but it can be a bit much sometimes.

And to top it all off, I actually got banned from the site a few months ago. I won't go into all the details, but basically I got into an argument with someone who was harassing me, and I ended up getting banned instead of them. It was really frustrating, and it kind of soured my opinion of the site as a whole.

All in all, I'd say that FreeCodeCamp is a decent resource for learning coding, but it's not without its flaws. The community can be great, but it can also be a bit toxic at times. And the learning style and donation requests can be a bit off-putting. But if you're willing to put up with all that, you can definitely learn a lot from the site.
