Hello, so I’m writing this complaint in regards to my experience lately I’ve been having with the department of children and family in regards to my services. I currently am a single mother of four with a special-needs son before I have never had an issue up until recently. I have called over 100 times and can’t get through. I have gone in person over 10 times to provide documents that was requested by me several times only to be turned away each and every time in the total weight when recertifying, the hotline says applications are processed within 30 days that is untrue. The staff is very very rude and not helpful at all no matter how nice you are or your tone of voice it’s like these people are miserable like they hate their job and I get it I understand sometimes, how is it to deal with people in the population however, we are still people despite of what you may think I’m at risk of losing my benefits and I am terrified. It was listed that I did not provide information that was requested by me which was false. They asked me to write a certified letter in regards to me, not receiving any child support from the father of my children which I did because it’s the truth I’ve had this document scanned in person and I’ve uploaded on the website as well. One day I was in line I had until August 3 to submit this letter since then I had already uploaded it prior to that 17 times still was getting the same message so I went in person again on August 3 while in line I received an email stating that I’m about to lose my benefits for not providing the proper documentation however, it was still August 3. It was 9 o’clock in the morning and I was in person the agent read the letter she said it should be good enough she upload it told me to wait a week or two for a response. What is spent three weeks I want to a office close to me first I was told I never turned in the document I was adamant insensitive to the person that’s not true showed her. My proof show her the stat date on the certified letter from Dcf then she all of a sudden magically saw it then she told me no you turned in the paperwork too late after the third I Vanaken said to her that’s also not true, I showed her the letter I received from Dcf that said I had until August 3 and August 3. The document was received in person by Dcf. Not to mention I had already uploaded it on the portal however it is now August 23 my case I’m supposed to lose my services August 31 for supposedly not complying again not true yet I can’t get anyone on the phone. The people in the office seems overwhelmed and I am at risk of not being able to feed my family. I’m so confused to why this is happening to me.

Desired outcome: I really would appreciate it. If I can, please get some resolution to my services without being any disruptions for assistance for me and my children I would like a supervisor to please reach out to me to please
