Expedia review: Fraudulent charges that need to be refunded by Expedia and Days Inn by Windham in Kerrville, TX.

I was told I could pay upon arrival. Well this was a work trip and the job was cancelled the day after I made reservation. So I immediatly called to cancel the reservation, and I also purchased the travel gaurd plan, which was a waste of time and apparently hard earned money! While I was trying to cancel my reservation, my account was billed for the full amount of a 2 night stay and I never left my house. Ive called expedia so called customer support lol, as well as days inn by windahm in kerrville, tx. To no avail, im at a total loss, is this what is to be expected, I am more than willing to pay the booking protection fee of $9.00, even th $19.76 in taxes, but no way im paying $171.74 for a room I was told I pay upon arrival. I need my money refunded asap so I can pay for my next out of town job in 2 days, im an industrial radiographer and will most definitely put the word out all over the internet to not use either of these businesses ever again, possible boycott if resolution cant be made today.
