I hired Ercolano Cleaning & Restoration to get rid of mold in my attic on June 3
I hired Ercolano Cleaning & Restoration to get rid of mold in my attic on June 3. They went up there and took stuff out, sprayed and fogged the area, and told me not to go up there for a few hours. After 24 hours, I checked and saw mold on the beams. I emailed them about it and they sent workers back on June 8 to fix it. They did the area I was talking about and I thought they did a good job, so I thanked them. But when I went up to the attic on July 3 to check it out, I saw a piece of insulation crammed into a corner that had mold on it, and it looked like the piece they were supposed to remove. I had to hire another company to come and do the work that they didn't do. They also didn't vacuum after scrubbing the mold, which I found out later they should have done according to health guidelines.

On 8/12 we had a flood. Ercolano C&R came out and agreed do the mitagation and repairs, and work with the insurance company to help handle the claim. My ins, rep had to contact me multiple times because they did not send him the appropriate paperwork. When we told them that we did not want to refinish floors right away, they said that would have to either charge us more for the rest of the repair job or we would have to find someone else. We decided to part ways. They completed the mitagation, but work was subpar (per other contractors): left site a mess; promised to leave it in excellent shape. Did not complete content manipulation (left items for us to put back); 2 people worked 1 hour ea. but charged insurance company for 8 hours. Left damaged walls and said it wasn't their problem. Removal of ceiling and walls sloppy and we have to pay other contractors to fix what they left. When I spoke with the owner about a resolution, he was highly unprofessional and verbally abusive.
