You can't polish a poop, but it seems like Eonnext is trying to do just that. They've got a fancy new name, a shiny new logo, and a different phone number, but don't be fooled - it's the same old useless people working there. It's almost insulting how they think we're as dumb as they are.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to someone at Eonnext who clearly had no clue that it's just a new subsidiary under the Eon umbrella. I tried to explain it to them, but I didn't have the time or the crayons to break it down for them.

After enduring 11 frustrating phone calls and wasting a whopping one hour and 40 minutes of my precious time, I finally gave up. I figured that when they see the thousand-pound debit hit my account, they'll surely reach out to me. But who knows when that will be? They're probably too busy twiddling their thumbs and scratching their heads.

It's a shame really. You would think that with a new name and all, they would have improved their customer service. But nope, it's the same old story. They're just as useless as ever. So if you're thinking about signing up with Eonnext, I'd advise you to think twice. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually knows what they're doing. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

After a whopping 117 days of bidding farewell to Eon Next, they still insist that my wife and I devoured a mind-boggling ?656.58 worth of electricity during a mere 12-day stretch in November of yesteryear. Now, let me tell you, this is a staggering 17 times more than our usual energy consumption in our cozy 2-bedroom abode. Can you believe it? I certainly can't. As a result, they have been hoarding our hard-earned credit of ?383.76 for a grueling 4 months, while audaciously suggesting that we cough up an additional ?192.82 to line their already bulging pockets.

I must say, this whole situation is nothing short of a preposterous farce. And let me tell you, their customer service team has gone above and beyond to transform this ordeal into a nightmarish labyrinth of bureaucracy, reminiscent of the works of Kafka himself.

Let me be crystal clear: steer clear of Eon Next as if your very existence depended on it. Trust me, you don't want to get entangled in their web of deceit and despair.

Eonnext, where do I even begin? Let me tell you, they are just plain incompetent, arrogant, and uncaring. It all started when I had an issue with my 1st Generation smart meter being updated. The night and day rates got all switched up, and let me tell you, it was a long and frustrating story.

Now, I've had this meter since it was installed back in 2013, and I never had any issues with it. But then Eonnext took over my supply from "n power" in January of this year, and that's when everything went downhill. First, they didn't even bother to bill me for the night rate on my e7 2 rate meter. It took them a whopping 3 months and 3 phone calls from yours truly to sort that mess out.

But that's not all, oh no. The DCC (whatever that is) decided to update my meter and reactivate the smart function, but guess what? They switched the rates around. So now, the night rate became the day rate, and the day rate became the night rate. Can you believe it? And what did Eonnext do about it? Absolutely nothing. They didn't even acknowledge the issue.

And let me tell you, they have been constantly messing with my account without any explanation. They do things and then undo them, it's just unbelievable. And guess what? They have now failed to respond to the ombudsman who ruled in my favor. Can you believe the audacity? In fact, Eonnext has actually been persisting in messing with my account even more since the ombudsman ruling. It's absolutely shocking how incompetent they are.

I mean, seriously, they must be as thick as a brick (and I'm sure they're making a good wage too). It's just so depressing and plain wrong.

Now, I know they have many good reviews out there, but let me tell you, when things go wrong and it's not on their "how to deal with list," they are completely lost. They either ignore you, pass you on to someone else, or make false promises. It's just a mess.

So, my fellow humans, take my advice and steer clear of Eonnext. They may seem all nice and dandy at first, but when things go south, they'll leave you hanging. Trust me, you don't want to deal with their incompetence and arrogance. It's just not worth it.
