From start to finish, I gotta say, Empire Solar Solutions was top-notch. They were super patient with all my questions and really knew their stuff. They handled everything like pros and made sure all the nitty-gritty details were taken care of. You could tell they genuinely cared about making their customers happy.

I got charged extra without knowing or agreeing, but I still paid even though I didn't want to. I requested to get my old information back, but they ignored me. I also asked for accurate monitoring, but they didn't respond. This company is not trustworthy and they cheat people. I want a refund and I want them removed from my property. Next, I'll go all out and contact all the TV and print media.

Empire Solar put solar panels on my roof in July . I asked the installer if my roof was good for the panels, and he said it was. This week, three different roofers told me the same thing. They said my roof needs fixing and the panels shouldn't have been put on it in this condition. They also mentioned that it couldn't have deteriorated so fast. I called Empire, and they said I'd have to pay to remove and reinstall the panels unless I used their roofing company. But since the panels shouldn't have been installed until the roof was fixed, I shouldn't have to pay for their removal and replacement.

We hired Empire Solar Solutions LLC to install solar on our house. They did the site survey and signed a contract to produce *** kWh a month versus the ***kwh that should be at $0 cost. So, according to the person doing the site, we should pay around $60.00 a month. That, combined with the loan we are paying, would be over $100.00 a month savings from what we are paying our local utility company. The system, since installation, has not produced over 900kwh of electricity. This is 300kwh short or more each month with our power production, so we have had no savings to our utility *** at all. We have called multiple times, with one of the owners telling us he will stop by and review the layout. He has never come, they do not answer our calls, and we are still underproducing. I am going to take legal action against them for breach of contract at this point.

I've been tryin to get in touch with this company for a while now. I've called all the numbers I found online and on their social media, but they're always busy or don't work. I even messaged them on Instagram, but no response. The person who signed us up for solar panels hasn't been responsive either. I've sent texts but no reply, and when I call, it says they're not takin calls. It's really frustratin because I can't reach them at all.

The point of contact did text me sayin they have $500 for me as a referral bonus once the panels are installed. I referred my neighbors, and I know their panels are already installed, so I should get the $500. I want my money and I think this business should be punished. Empire Solar installed solar panels on my house in February and never closed out the job. When I started selling my house in 2022, it was discovered that the job was never completed. Empire Solar took from October 2022 to January *** to fix the building issue. During this time, the solar panels were turned off and now they are not producing any electricity. As a result, I received an electrical bill from the power company. I have tried to contact Empire for them to pay for the energy used during the period when the solar panels were inactive, but I have not heard back from them. I have called multiple times, but there has been no response from the customer service office or anyone from the company. Empire Solar has provided terrible customer service and their excuse is COVID, which was not an issue until 2022. Empire Solar needs to take responsibility and pay the electric bill that was incurred due to their negligence in completing the work in 2019.

I bought solar panels for my house in early 2020. I knew that due to the pandemic, things would take some time to settle. However, in the two years since I got the panels, they haven't produced the amount of energy promised in our contract. They were supposed to generate *** kWh, but I've only seen about *** kWh per year. I've tried reaching out to my sales representative, but it's been nearly impossible to get in touch with them. Instead, I've been communicating with *** to get the system fixed. They offered me four additional panels to compensate for the energy shortfall, but it's been over a month and I'm still waiting. It's been really difficult to get any answers. All I want is someone who can keep me informed about the progress. If they say something will be done by a certain day, I expect it to be done. And if there are any changes, they should call and let me know instead of ignoring a customer.

On March 18th, Empire Solar couldn't fulfill their contract obligations of the type of panel and KW size installation on my home. They showed up with 30 larger panels, which had a different pattern and non-typical clearance layout compared to what they designed and submitted to the building authorities. I asked them to certify the installation's safety, and they provided an architect letter. They also offered to make amends with a 3-month installment payment totaling $873, but later they refused to pay, stating that they are done handing out money. I have never asked Empire Solar for anything outside of the contract. The system they installed had fewer KW than what was contractually obligated (2 inverters less), and I didn't complain. Empire Solar was very dismissive and didn't fulfill their promises, even after being paid for the installation. Please don't let them tell you they went out of business because this happened after my installation took place.

I agreed to buy solar panels from Empire Home Solutions. They did a long interview about my family's energy needs and recommended a certain number of panels to fully meet those needs without paying anything to NYSEG. They even said we might produce more energy than we need. They told us the roof had to be replaced before installing the panels, so we agreed to that too. The roof got replaced, but the workers left a lot of garbage on our property and damaged our gutter guards. Pieces of the roof fell off shortly after installation. I contacted Empire Solar and showed them pictures. They said sorry and sent someone to look, but nothing happened. They promised to replace the damaged gutter guards if I sent a quote, but they didn't fix or replace them. Finally, the solar panels were installed. The installers left cigarette butts and metallic dust in our driveway that cut my child's foot and wouldn't wash away. In July, the solar panels stopped working. I contacted Empire Solar, but they haven't replied. The most worrying part is that our energy bills have actually gone up since installing the panels (our energy usage with NYSEG). On top of that, we have to pay Empire for panels that don't work and a sub-par roofing job. Empire Solar has been awful—they say sorry a lot but do nothing. I've been in touch with ***, who was supposed to be a project coordinator or customer care coordinator, but she stopped replying to my emails and calls. At this point, we're extremely frustrated and will have to hire another company to fix the roof and solar panels because Empire Solar doesn't have good contractors and they were unprofessional and disrespectful to my property. I want a refund of 50% of the contract/financed price so I can hire a more reputable company for the repairs.
