Issues with e-Rewards Surveys: Expired Messages and Discrimination
I've been a member of e-Rewards for many years now, and I've always enjoyed cashing out my "money" for points on a motel. Over the years, I've accumulated a lot of points, but lately, I've been having some issues with the surveys. Since the end of May, every survey I try to take says that it has expired! I used to be able to get 1-15 surveys a day, but now they've all expired. I've never even seen that message before. I've tried emailing them twice, but I keep getting the same auto message telling me to clear my cache, that I took too long to do the survey, and a bunch of other stuff. I haven't done anything wrong, and my computer whiz son has tried to fix it, but I still get the same expired message.
I'm just going to wait until August when I have surgery, and then I'll decide if I want to stay with e-Rewards or not. It's frustrating because I don't even get the "$.25" for trying anymore. Peanuts Lab on MyPoints also suspended me, and when I asked why, they permanently banned me. Now on e-Rewards and Valued Opinions, I get SSISURVEYs, but they won't let me do them and say I'm not in the country I said, I did the survey already, I lied... I can only do a few surveys a week on those sites now.
I think it's because I'm poor, old, Republican, Christian, not gay+, or they just didn't like an answer because I am all of those. It's discrimination, isn't it? That's probably why they don't tell us why we got kicked out. It's frustrating because I've been a loyal member for so long, and now I feel like I'm being punished for something that I didn't even do. I hope they fix this issue soon because I really enjoy taking surveys and earning points.
Yes, They are Scam
E-Rewards Suspended My Account and Refused to Pay Rewards
I've been a member of e-rewards for a good 3 years now and I've managed to redeem a fair amount of air miles in exchange for the surveys. Recently, I moved to a new area and got a higher job, so I started answering surveys with my new job title and location. I always made sure to answer the surveys honestly and spent a considerable amount of time on them. I had around ?50 worth of points in my account, but without any warning, I suddenly stopped receiving any surveys. I thought that maybe it was linked to the covid situation, but a few weeks later, I tried to redeem some of my points for air miles and received an error code.
I decided to email support to find out what was going on, but all I received was a generic cut and paste email that said my account had been suspended indefinitely due to "accuracy and attentiveness". They refused to provide any further information or evidence for their decision. Just like that, I had lost the ?50 I had been building up to pay for a holiday. I wouldn't recommend using this company as you're at risk of them refusing to pay your rewards without any reason. I know for a fact that I wasn't at fault because I still have the individual survey creators emailing me directly for follow-ups.
In the recent year, it has been difficult to qualify for surveys after spending a considerable amount of time providing data, essentially for free. I would advise you to avoid this company at all costs. It's not worth the risk of losing your hard-earned rewards for no apparent reason.
Yes, they did mine as well
E-Rewards: A Deceptive Scam That Collects Your Data Without Rewarding You
E-Rewards is a company that claims to offer rewards for completing surveys. However, my experience with them has been nothing but a big scam. They collect all of your data without giving anything in return. It's a classic ploy that they use to deceive people.
The way they scam you is by contacting you about a survey that promises a $10 reward. You click on it, and it says it will take "approximately 15 minutes." You start the survey and answer a ton of questions that take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Suddenly, you get a notification that says, "Sorry, your survey has already received the required amount of participants!" It's a classic bait and switch tactic that they use to deceive people.
Another thing that I find very suspicious is that they now require you to give them your cell phone number in order to redeem a reward. They claim it's for "your security," but they can't even come close to making this argument. Of course, they don't even try because they know they are full of it. I have contacted them at least 20 times, and never once have they explained the "security" issue. They just keep saying "it's for security" and "it's required" over and over again. I doubt any human being exists in their "customer service" department. At least I hope that's the case - otherwise, they are brain dead.
In my opinion, E-Rewards is a reprehensible and dishonest company. They are not to be trusted, and I would advise anyone to avoid them like the plague. They claim to offer rewards for completing surveys, but in reality, they are just collecting your data without giving anything in return. It's a big scam, and I would advise anyone to stay away from them.
Very True, Stop this website making free money from selling others data.
Beware of e-Rewards: Accused of Having Multiple Accounts, Suspended for No Reason, and No Help from Customer Service
I gotta say, after reading a bunch of reviews, I ain't the only one who's been screwed over by e-Rewards. I been a member for over 10 years, I'm a Diamond member, and they just straight up accused me of being a liar and having more than one account. Ain't no way that's true, but they don't care. They stopped sending me surveys a couple months ago when I tried to cash out, but I was having trouble 'cause they only accept phone numbers and my only number is a VOIP number. Other survey sites didn't have a problem with it, but not e-Rewards. So I been emailing back and forth with them, trying to get it sorted out, but they ain't been no help. They just wanna keep my money, I reckon. Then I noticed I ain't been getting no invites from their sister site, Valued Opinions, so I emailed them too. This guy named John said he'd look into it, but the next day he emails me and suspends my account for no dang reason. Now I reckon the same thing's gonna happen with Valued Opinions 'cause I was close to cashing out there too. Don't waste your time with these sites, y'all. They used to be good and actually paid you, but not no more.
I found out that e-Rewards got taken over by Dynata (Research Now Group LLC), 5800 Tennyson Pkwy, Suite 600, Plano, Tx ***-3992. I just filed a complaint with BBB.org and I reckon y'all should do the same. The more complaints they get, the better our chances of getting our money back. Don't let these big companies take advantage of us regular folks.
Yes, Mine too... I had points in there, They are totally SCAM!
E-Rewards Review: A Complete Scam That Cheats Participants and Clients
E-Rewards is a website that offers rewards to people who complete surveys. However, my experience with this website has been nothing short of a complete scam. They lure in clients by telling them that they are paying participants to take surveys, but in reality, they are cheating both the participants and clients.
The website has a habit of telling participants that they have a survey, but only after they have completed it, they say that they are not qualified for it. This is a complete scam because they only pay a trivial amount instead of the full amount or they simply fail to pay at all. It is frustrating to see that E-Rewards has 99% of the qualification information already in their database, so there is no excuse for having anyone take a survey and then telling them that they aren't qualified due to age, gender, or occupation that was already in the e-Rewards database.
Even when the qualification is something that they need to ask, they have a habit of putting such questions at the middle or end of the survey so they have already collected a ton of responses before they suddenly 'discover' that you "don't qualify" for the survey they just had you take. This is a clear indication that they are not interested in paying people for their time and effort.
E-Rewards claims that they pay $2.50 to $7.50 for taking a 20-60 minute survey, but this is far from the truth. The reality is that they pay less than fifty cents per hour, which is a complete waste of time. If you assume that your time is worth less than fifty cents per hour, then E-Rewards is a fine way to collect rewards. However, if you value your time and effort, then this website is not worth your time.
In conclusion, I would not recommend E-Rewards to anyone. It is a complete scam that cheats both participants and clients. They are not interested in paying people for their time and effort, and their claims of paying $2.50 to $7.50 for taking a 20-60 minute survey are far from the truth. If you value your time and effort, then stay away from this website.
E-rewards: A Time-Stealing Website with Unfair Practices
E-rewards, or as I like to call it, stealingyourtime.com, is a website that promises to reward you for your opinions. However, my experience with this site has been less than satisfactory. I have spent countless hours doing surveys, only to be told at the end that I don't qualify for the points. It's frustrating to spend so much time on something and get nothing in return.
To make matters worse, there are often network errors or errors with the survey itself, which means that I don't get any points for my time. And now, they don't even give you anything for attempting a survey, even if you've gone almost all the way through it! It's like they're stealing my time and not even giving me a penny for it.
Even when I do manage to complete a survey, I've noticed that they don't always give me the number of points that they promised. It's like they're trying to cheat me out of my rewards.
One time, I was invited to a follow-up survey that promised to award me 2000 points. I received several reminders before the survey, and I made sure to log in on time. But 20 minutes later, I was told that they had received enough people for the survey and I wouldn't be getting any points. It's not fair to waste my time like that. I had to make sure I was home, logged in on time, and had enough time to complete the survey. It's disrespectful to treat me like that.
If a company didn't pay me for my time at work, they would be in court! How can E-rewards steal people's time and give them nothing in return? It's not right.
E-rewards used to be a decent site, but now they're abusing us and treating us like slaves. I think companies like this should be fined for their unfair practices. I wonder who came up with this new way to rip people off? They must be a psychopathic narcissist. I hope they get what's coming to them.
Overall, I feel like E-rewards is like a shark that comes into my home and takes from me. They're no better than a common thief. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
Stay Far Away from e-Rewards: A Decade of Frustration with the Worst Survey Company
I've been a member of e-Rewards for a whole decade now, and let me tell you, I'm absolutely fed up with them. They are, without a doubt, the WORST!
First off, they spam your email with an insane amount of messages - we're talking 2 to 5 emails every single day. It's enough to drive anyone crazy! And even if you do decide to take the surveys, it's not worth your time. The $75 e-rewards currency they offer is only worth $25 in "real" money on a gift card, and there are very few options to choose from. Your best bet is to redeem for airline points instead.
But here's the real kicker - they trick you with survey invitations that promise $20 to $30, only to kick you out after you've spent 15 to 20 minutes answering questions. Either you don't qualify, or they've already received too many responses. And what do you get for your time? Maybe 25 cents if you're lucky. The average survey pays out $4 to $5 in "currency," but when you divide that by 3, you're left with a measly amount of real money. What a waste of time!
And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's absolutely terrible! If you have a problem, expect to wait a whole week for a response, and even then, you'll likely get a canned copy-and-paste answer that doesn't actually help you at all.
One thing to watch out for is accidentally clicking the Unsubscribe button on their emails. If you do that, your account will be deactivated IMMEDIATELY, without any confirmation that you actually wanted to deactivate it. And then, when you try to reactivate your account, customer service will make you jump through hoops and wait for weeks to get it sorted out. It's a nightmare!
My advice? Always cash out your currency as you go. Many people have lost thousands of dollars of their currency on these surveys because e-Rewards is run by crooks. I never left more than $75 or $100 in my account before redeeming for gift cards or airline points, and I suggest you do the same.
In conclusion, I'm so glad I cashed out my currency and am done with this BS company. Save yourself the headache and stay far, far away from e-Rewards.
Stop their website, They are scam,, stop making free money
E-Rewards Opinion Panel: Unreliable and Untrustworthy
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with e-Rewards. I mean, I'm not the only one who's had issues with them. I was actually invited to join by another survey company that was shutting down earlier this year. At first, everything was going great. I was doing surveys left and right and getting gift cards like nobody's business. But then, in August, I tried to get a gift card and it just wouldn't work. So, I emailed them about it and their response was to terminate my account! Can you believe that? They said it was because of some email or account issues, but I know that's not true.
Anyway, that was a few months ago. Just recently, I emailed them again because I noticed a discrepancy in my account. I had been doing surveys on my tablet and suddenly they were saying that wasn't allowed. So, I asked them about it and they sent me this canned response:
"Hello Andrea Abernathy,
Thank you for your email. Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account.
As a member of our program you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses. You must also be thoughtful and attentive in responding to our surveys. When we have concerns about any of these program rules we are obligated to take steps to investigate and unfortunately suspend accounts.
We do not take account suspension lightly and do so only when account issues have been identified. At this time your account has been indefinitely suspended and you will no longer be able to participate in surveys or claim rewards from our website.
Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards,
Carlo
E-Rewards Opinion Panel"
I mean, come on! All I did was ask a simple question and they suspend my account indefinitely? It's ridiculous. And what's even worse is that I can still sign on to their website and update my profile. So, what's the deal? Are they just trying to scam people out of their time and information? I wouldn't be surprised.
All in all, I would definitely not recommend e-Rewards to anyone. They're a lost cause and it's not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other survey companies out there that are much more reliable and trustworthy. So, save yourself the trouble and steer clear of e-Rewards.
Disappointing Changes to e-Rewards Survey Compensation Policy
I never wrote a review for a website before, but I think it's important to share my experience with e-Rewards. I've been a member for almost 15 years and I used to enjoy taking their surveys. They were short and sweet, and I felt like I was being fairly compensated for my time. However, things have changed in the past 5 months or so, and not for the better.
The screeners, which used to take no more than 5 minutes, now take anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes. And even after spending all that time, you might not even qualify for the survey. It's frustrating because you've essentially completed a full-length survey, but you're not being compensated for it. This has been happening on a regular basis, which is disrespectful to e-Rewards members.
To make matters worse, e-Rewards recently changed their policy regarding compensation for disqualified surveys. They used to pay 20 cents for a survey you didn't qualify for, but now they're not paying anything at all. I'm not sure why they made this change, but it's not fair to the members who are spending their time taking these surveys.
I used to love participating in e-Rewards surveys, but now it feels like a waste of time. I'm not sure who benefits from this arrangement, but it's certainly not the members. After I redeem my current e-Rewards, I don't think I'll be participating anymore. It's just not worth spending a long time doing something for which you will receive zero compensation on at least 50% of occasions.
It's surprising to me that e-Rewards is still a "by invitation only" survey company. Why would anyone want to accept the invitation when they're not being fairly compensated for their time? I hope e-Rewards takes a closer look at their policies and makes some changes that benefit their members. Until then, I can't recommend this website to anyone.
E-Rewards Review: Pros and Cons of Taking Surveys for Gift Cards
I used to think e-Rewards was a great company, but recent changes have really made me reconsider. There are a few things you should know before deciding to take surveys for this company.
First of all, they used to offer partial compensation of $0.25 for any surveys that were not completed. However, now they only offer $0.20 for up to 5 surveys per day. After that, you get nothing, even if you spent a significant amount of time on the survey. This can be frustrating, especially if you end up not qualifying for the survey after spending a lot of time on it.
Secondly, the e-currency you receive is only worth about 33% in real dollars. So, if you complete a survey for 3 e-currency dollars, it will only be worth $1.00 when you redeem it. This means that you will need to accumulate a lot of e-currency dollars to get a decent gift card.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you earn more than $600 in real dollars between January 1st and December 31st, it will be reported to the IRS. This means that you will end up paying both federal taxes based on your tax rate, PLUS, you will be assessed social security taxes. This can result in a significant tax bill, so be sure to take this into account before deciding to participate in e-Rewards surveys.
Finally, there have been many reports of accounts being shut down for "infractions" without any notification or explanation. This can be frustrating, especially if you have accumulated a lot of e-currency dollars that are now worthless. I have personally experienced this issue and have not received any response from customer service regarding my missing gift card codes.
Despite these issues, I have earned over $7,000 in gift cards over the past 3 years. However, it takes a lot of time and effort to accumulate enough e-currency dollars to redeem for a gift card. Additionally, you will need to reduce this amount by 1/3 due to taxes being paid, which can be a significant amount.
Overall, if you decide to participate in e-Rewards surveys, be sure to keep these issues in mind. While it is possible to earn gift cards, it takes a lot of time and effort, and there are some significant drawbacks to participating in this program.

E-Rewards: A Waste of Time and Frustration
So, I was invited by my favorite grocery store to join e-Rewards and I thought, why not? I mean, doing surveys for rewards points sounded like a good idea. I took my time and answered the questions as honestly as I could, and I was able to earn up to $230 in e-Rewards points. However, my account was suspended for some reason that they wouldn't tell me. I was confused and frustrated, but I contacted them and they reinstated my account.
After that, I was more careful and made sure not to rush through the surveys. I'm a fast reader, so I had to slow down a bit. I continued to answer the questions as honestly as I could, and I was able to earn up to $300 in rewards. But then, I received another email saying that my account was suspended again, and they didn't give me any specific reason why. It felt like I was being treated like a criminal, and it was really frustrating.
I've come to the conclusion that e-Rewards is just a site that wants to collect your information. They claim that it's for the protection of the company, but I think that's just a bunch of bull. They don't seem to care about their users at all. So, I would advise you not to waste your valuable time on e-Rewards like I did. It's just not worth it.
E-rewards Review: Decent Way to Earn Rewards, But Customer Service Needs Improvement
I've been doing surveys on E-rewards for a while now and I gotta say, it's pretty decent. They tell you how long each survey is gonna take, but sometimes they'll say it's gonna be shorter than it actually is. And sometimes you'll answer a bunch of questions and then they'll tell you they don't need your responses anymore and only give you partial credit. It's usually only 25 cents, sometimes 50 cents, but it adds up over time.
It does take a while to earn enough credits to redeem them for rewards, but I didn't get discouraged. I redeemed my credits for magazine subscriptions and never had a problem until my last order in June 2017. The magazine never arrived, so I contacted E-rewards in September and they told me it can take up to 12 weeks for the subscription to start. I waited, but still no magazine, so I sent another inquiry in November. The response I got on November 17th was to contact the magazine's customer service. What a waste of time! And the customer service rep gave me an UNBELIEVABLE answer. She said no credits had been deducted from my account, but I knew that wasn't true. I didn't wanna argue, so I just canceled my account.
Overall, E-rewards is okay, but they could be more upfront about the survey lengths and not give partial credit after you've already answered a bunch of questions. And their customer service could use some work too. But if you're patient and don't mind waiting a while to redeem your credits, it's not a bad way to earn a little extra cash or rewards.
e-Rewards Review: Rewards Aren't Worth the Risk of Account Suspension
This company, e-Rewards, is a bit of a tricky one. They promise rewards for filling out surveys, but the value of those rewards is only about a third of what they would be in cash. That's not great, but it's not the worst part.
The real problem is that sometimes, after spending a lot of time on a survey, you'll get a message saying that the survey is full and you won't get any rewards. That's frustrating, especially if you've done hundreds or even thousands of surveys and redeemed several thousand points.
But the real kicker is when your account gets frozen. That's what happened to me, and apparently, I was on some kind of double-secret probation that I didn't even know about. I transgressed some unwritten rule, and suddenly my account was suspended.
The worst part is that I had over $2000 in rewards that I couldn't access anymore. It's like they just disappeared into thin air. I remember reading a review before I started doing these surveys where someone said they lost over $200 of rewards when their account was suspended with no explanation. I thought, "That won't happen to me; I'll be careful and answer each question to the best of my ability." But apparently, that wasn't enough.
So, be careful if you decide to use e-Rewards. It's not a scam exactly, but it's not exactly a great deal either. And if you do decide to use it, be prepared for the possibility that your account might get suspended for reasons you don't understand.

E-rewards Review: Is it Worth Your Time and Effort?
E-rewards is a website that offers gift cards in exchange for your opinions. However, it seems like they are not completely transparent about their process. The surveys take much longer than they are advertised to take, which can be frustrating for users. For example, a survey that is supposed to take 5 minutes can actually take up to 15 minutes. This can be a waste of time for users who are looking to earn rewards quickly.
Another issue with E-rewards is that the rewards for surveys in dollars are not actually what you get. Instead, you have to exchange $70 for a $25 gift card. This means that you are actually getting less than half of what they are telling you that you are getting per survey. This can be misleading for users who are trying to earn rewards quickly.
In addition, users often take a survey that wastes 5 or 10 minutes and then don't qualify. This can be frustrating for users who are trying to earn rewards quickly. Furthermore, users must wait 72 hours to redeem after sign up, and frequently the site won't let you redeem more than once per day. This can be inconvenient for users who are looking to earn rewards quickly.
Despite these issues, some users have reported receiving several gift cards from E-rewards. However, there is a concern that these gift cards may not work. It is important to be cautious when using E-rewards and to be aware of the potential issues with the site.
Overall, E-rewards could be a decent and legitimate site if they were more upfront about what users are actually earning and how long it takes to earn rewards. It is important for users to be aware of the potential issues with the site and to use it with caution.
E-Rewards: Disappointing Rewards and Tedious Surveys
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with e-Rewards. I mean, I spent hours and hours taking surveys, only to find out that the rewards I earned were worth way less than I thought they were. And let me tell you, it was a real bummer.
So here's the deal: let's say you earn $50 in rewards. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, not so fast. When you go to redeem those rewards for a $50 Amazon gift card, you find out that it actually costs $150 in reward dollars. That's right, you heard me. $150. And that's just not cool.
But that's not even the worst part. The surveys themselves are a total drag. Most of the time, you won't even qualify for them, which means you've wasted several minutes of your time answering questions for nothing. And even when you do qualify, they're just so tedious and boring. It's like, come on, can't you make these things a little more interesting?
And let's not forget about the pay. I mean, sure, it's nice to earn a little extra cash on the side. But when you break it down, you're really only making a few bucks an hour. And when you factor in the inflated prices of the rewards, it's more like a couple bucks an hour. Not exactly a great use of your time, if you ask me.
So yeah, I would definitely recommend staying away from e-Rewards. It's just not worth it. Unless you're completely unemployed and have nothing better to do, you're better off finding another way to make some extra cash. Trust me on this one.
I have not received a reply when I mentioned that there are points involved that I earned very much so.. It was fine when the rep was asking for info but then no reply. I would appreciate my money for sure,
E-Rewards Disappoints: Frustrating Experience with Gift Card Issue
I used to have a pretty good relationship with e-rewards, but things went south when I had trouble with a Starbucks e-gift card they gave me. The code didn't work, so I contacted Starbucks, but they sent me back to e-rewards. That's when the real trouble started.
I got a bunch of frustrating emails from e-rewards that didn't really help me at all. They just sent me a generic response that didn't address my problem, and then asked me for information they already had. It was like they weren't even reading my emails! After a few back-and-forths, they finally put some money on the card, but then they tried to blame me for the problem. They said I was trying to use an old card or something, but that wasn't true at all. It was really frustrating and kind of insulting that they would try to blame me for their mistake.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with e-rewards. I used to trust them to give me rewards for my time and effort, but now I'm not so sure. If they can't even handle a simple gift card, how can I trust them to give me anything else? It's a shame, because I used to enjoy doing surveys and earning rewards with them, but now I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.
Mixed Feelings About e-Rewards: Decent Rewards, Frustrating Customer Service, and Account Closures Without Explanation
I've been a member of e-Rewards for a good 4 and a half years, and I have to say, my experience with them has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Recently, they closed my account and took away all the points I had accumulated, without giving me any explanation whatsoever. It was a real bummer, and it took me a good three weeks, several emails, and even a phone call to finally get a vague explanation from them. And I wasn't the only one who was targeted for this practice, which is really disappointing.
One thing that I think a lot of people don't realize is that the reward currency they use is only worth about 20% of real money, or even less. I was able to get a small amount of real money from them by redeeming for US Bank Flex Points, which can be redeemed for $50 from US Bank. But the limit of $20 per quarter meant that they were only a third or fourth rate survey option in the first place. So, if you're thinking about spending your time with e-Rewards, just keep in mind that they might eventually disappoint you too.
The way they close accounts without any explanation is definitely a negative. It's frustrating to spend so much time accumulating points, only to have them taken away without any warning. But, on the bright side, I did learn that if you have an issue like this, you can file a complaint with the BBB right away. They might not cover your issue unless they find a pattern of this behavior, but if enough people speak up, we just might get our just e-rewards.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about e-Rewards. On one hand, they do offer some decent rewards if you're willing to put in the time and effort. But on the other hand, their customer service can be pretty frustrating, and the way they close accounts without any explanation is a real downer. So, if you're thinking about joining e-Rewards, just be aware of the potential pitfalls and decide for yourself if it's worth it.
Unfair Account Suspension and Reward Withholding by e-Rewards: My Experience
So, I've been a part of e-Rewards for more than 2 years now, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with how things turned out. Recently, they suspended my account without any explanation and kept my 285 points. I mean, come on, does this sound familiar to anyone else? It's like they do this to everyone eventually.
The worst part is that you have to go through hundreds of surveys just to find out that you get a big fat zero at the end. And then, one day, you get hit with this message:
"Unfortunately, the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account.
At this time your account has been indefinitely suspended and you will no longer be able to participate in surveys or claim rewards from our website."
I mean, seriously, what kind of explanation is that? There's no recourse, no way to contact them for a better explanation, and they keep everyone's payments. It's just not fair.
I really think that e-Rewards should be held accountable for their actions. They can't just keep suspending accounts without any explanation and keeping people's hard-earned rewards. It's just not right.
e-Rewards Review: Redeemed Rewards Failed, Customer Service Disappointing, Possible Fraudulent Activity
I've been a member of e-Rewards for more than a decade now, and I must say that I've never had any issues with redeeming rewards until June of this year. I redeemed 150 points for a $25 gift card from Target and another $25 gift card from Home Depot. However, when I tried to use them, I was disappointed to find out that neither of them worked. The Target gift card showed an "invalid number" error, while the Home Depot gift card had zero balance.
I immediately contacted e-Rewards customer service, and they asked me to clear my cache, cookies, and other browsing data and resend my rewards. I did this four times, but the gift cards still didn't work. They then offered to reinstate my points, which I agreed to, but after waiting for three weeks, they told me that they couldn't do it.
I was frustrated and disappointed with their response, so I continued to email them back and forth for over two dozen times. Finally, after two months, they told me that the gift cards had already been used, which I found to be outrageous. This is outright fraud, and I've read other reviews where the same thing happened to other users.
I've repeatedly asked them to escalate the issue to someone in the corporate office, but they just refuse to address it. It's frustrating to deal with their abysmal customer service, and I've noticed that qualifying for surveys after spending more than ten minutes answering questions has gone downhill.
I'm hoping and praying that someone will start a class-action lawsuit against e-Rewards. I've documented and saved all my correspondence with their customer service department, and I'm willing to join any legal action against them. Overall, I'm disappointed with e-Rewards, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Similar situation happened to me. Gift cards were not issued and when they were after complaining numerous times when I tried to use them the balance was 0. Twice my account has been suspended without any explanation or cause.
Beware of Junk Mail: My Experience with e-Rewards
E-Rewards is a website that offers rewards to its users for completing surveys and other tasks. However, there is a downside to using this website that many people may not be aware of. If you sign up for e-Rewards, you may find yourself inundated with junk mail.
I, for one, was a victim of this. Shortly after signing up for e-Rewards, I started receiving junk mail in my mailbox. This was strange because I am very careful with my personal information and don't usually receive junk mail. I knew that e-Rewards was the culprit.
To make matters worse, I was subscribed to three magazines that I had no interest in. These magazines were offensive to me because of their low-brow, low-IQ, hyper-sexualized content. I later found out that these magazines were chosen for me because of my last name, which suggests a certain racial background. The subscriptions were placed by Universal Subscriptions, a junk mail company that collects people's personal information and uses it to spam them.
I was able to cancel the subscriptions by emailing the companies sending the magazines. I also found out that Universal Subscriptions has a specific form that you can fill out to request that they stop sending you junk mail and remove your name from their database.
I decided to email e-Rewards to ask if they had provided my information to anyone. However, I received no response from them. This was very telling and made me realize that e-Rewards may not be as trustworthy as they claim to be.
In conclusion, if you don't mind receiving lots of junk mail in your mailbox, then go ahead and sign up for e-Rewards. However, if you value your privacy and don't want to be bombarded with unwanted mail, then you may want to think twice before using this website. E-Rewards may be happy to sell all your personal details to the highest bidder!
