This company is very unprofessional, for almost 2 months I have been trying to get in contact with DNF associates in order to pay off my debt. Everytime I call or email them I never get a response; I even tried to make a payment through their phone line option and the phone just hangs up each and everytime. It’s like they want you to keep your debt just so they can sue you. I am frustrated with this company and this is by far the WORST collection agency. No customer service and poor in all other categories. If this prolongs I will be in contact with my lawyer.

From DNF Associates, LLC., I received "COPIES" of a letter from the original creditor, one statement from the business (Younkers)that was claiming an amount on a credit card that was owed to them and two pages of information on how to make a payment on this account. There was no direct communication from DNF. Associates, LLC. personnel at all. My response was written on 06/13 and sent with accompanying materials to DNF Associates, LLC. The complete package was sent by Certified mail on 06/14. The included materials (approximately 20 pages) were delivered to DNF on 06/17 at 9:52AM. This was and is a case of identity theft and most of the information sent was proof of the illegal use, by another person, using my personal information. It is now 07/20 and there has been no response from DNF Associates, LLC. How long does one wait for an answer.

You send a letter of explanation to the Financial Protection Bureau with no valid reason why you sent a validation letter to an incorrect address. You were validation is actually voided and null. I provided you with a police report letting you know that my mail, my identity and all my paperwork were stolen.Please read my police report. I filed a complaint against PayPal as well. during covid-19 2020 without any validation or any proof that you've been in contact with any contact with me you reported this and verified collection on my TransUnion credit file. Since you are claiming that you received incorrect information from PayPal and you are ignoring the police report and you are claiming that you purchased this account pennies for a dollar. according to my attorney there are many violations and this account with your collection company as well as PayPal. you have a choice to delete the invalid account from my TransUnion credit report and return my file back to PayPal for

I have observed that this company has been reporting fraudulent and inaccurate information to the credit bureaus which is a violation of my consumer rights, the FCRA, and the FDCPA. The account numbers are # ***. The first dispute to the bureaus, the company responded by stating the account ts were mine. They then sent me a letter asking me to provide them with my personal information to verify the accounts were mine. How can they report this inaccurate information to the credit bureau but ask me to provide information they should already have when verifying the accounts with the bureaus. What they have done is illegal and subject to civil litigation in the court system. However, I will give them one last chance to provide mw with the contract to these accounts which will hold me contractually liable to pay them for said accounts. Hello, My motorcycle loan defaulted from *** bank and was sold to DNF, no one picks up the phone there. The only thing they told me is that they will not take payment from me. I have to call *** LLC *** Ste *** Amherst, NY [protected]. *** went against FDCPA practices also(im pursuing that the legal way). DNF Alexis stated that they will not give me anymore information and talk to ***. After following DNF/Diversefunding's protocol to pay *** and *** took a $2500 dollar payment to get a clear title. DNF will not respond to any of my emails or voicemails ever even after showing proof of payment from ***. I was working with DAVID the general manager of *** but he has given me a million excuses but yet to get anything from DNF/Diversefunding signed. DNF stated that they own my loan but yet to get me a title or lien release after payment on 7-30. I will attach emails and copies sent from *** and Dnf. I received a call from DNF regarding a debt from 2016, I could not find any proof of this debt. I explained to the gentleman I would be happy to pay what I owe but would like proof. He told me it would be on my credit file which it was NOT. I tried to call the company directly with the account number he gave me and when I did they had not record of that number with my SSN. The total was $700 but the statement he sent me stated $300. I asked if he had a website to I know his company was real and he stated no, I asked him to send me something with the company information where he worked and he could not. He told me he could take $433 today to clear it up and then if I could prove it was fraud I could get my money back. I told him if I owe a debt i will pay it but I really needed something more. Especially when I call the bank of missouri and they say that account number and my SSN do not match. I am frustrated as i spend allot of time trying to track down proof on my own to come up emp

This company calls me everyday and is now resorting to calling several family members whom by the way are elderly and ill. I do not answer numbers I do not know and they seem to be calling from differant numbers everyday. Derek keeps calling and when I did call back on 5/12 at the number he gave he did not answer. I got transferred to two other people whom wanted my address which I verified and my social to discuss this over the phone which I did not give as I did feel comfortable giving that over the phone. I told the gentlemen that he obviously has my information which he clearly stated and I told him to send the documents then. I have not received anything in the mail from anyone and do not know what this is about. I think it is pretty *** a company is doing this during a pandemic when they don't know people's situations. My husband if furloughed and I am the only one working we have kids and I only get paid twice a month so looking for money is not an option. This is harassment.

This company is a third party which has purchased a debt thatI settled in my bankruptcy years ago. I had a "private investigator" show up at my door with a civil suit paper. My husband refused it and when I called to find out who it was for, they directed me to DNF and to *** law firm. When I called the law firm, they said it was an attempt to collect a debt from my bankruptcy. I asked them if it was for the company directly or if they were a third party who collected the debt and they did not answer me. After I told them to contact my bankruptcy lawyer with any questions, Rose hung up on me and I have not heard anything since. I've asked them to quit contacting me as this is a debt which has been settled. Today, the private investigator showed up again at my door being aggressive ringing my doorbell and knocking. I had already sent him a message stating this was already taken care of with the law office and to not come by. He still came by and threaten my husband as a refusal to the civil suit notice.

The issue is with a predatory credit collection company that operates under different names out of Ney York. DNF Associates is also known as *** Services. DNF purchase debt from credit card companies that has charged off. DNF places contact information that not DNF Associates as indicated in their letter but they are *** Services. When you take care of the debt you must contact them to have them send a letter to you showing its paid in full and to ensure they report the debt paid in full to the Credit Bureaus. It takes they 30 to 60 days to process both actions. It has been about 60 days and I am still seeing the debt on my credit report. When an individual contacts *** Services about requesting a letter, and reporting to the credit bureaus, *** informs the individual to contact DNF Associates, which the contact information for DNF Associates takes you to ***. When you request to speak to the supervisor the supervisor is DNF Associates. The run around continues.

i received this email today and i have never had this credit card. I have had fraud over the years where my life was compromised including ID, SSN and DOB . they are threatening me over and over and it not mine. I received some texts and phone calls from family members that someone was contacting them and were asking for me by FULL name. That is problem #1. Debt that does not include any other person shouldn't be involved. I felt so embarrassed receiving these phone calls from people I know. I am well aware that I am not perfect and I have had my share of mistakes. I proceeded to ask for telephone numbers so I can contact "whoever" it was calling them. I came to find out that it was DNF Associates. I called to find out what exactly the phone call was about, only to find out it was an attempt to collect a debt. I was SHOCKED to find out that an old credit card company, which the account had been "closed" as of march, sold my account to these people. The Rep is spoke to was highly rude during this conversation. At no point and time did I say I wasn't going to pay anything and he pretty much demanded I pay. I told him that I needed to dig into old statements because i know for a fact that I DO NOT owe that much money on the credit card. He then stated that there is nothing that can be done and that I needed to pay in full or if I wanted, I was able to put a $300 down payment and then pay monthly installments. I told him I needed to check old statements and he was rudely adamant about me paying. He gave me the last opportunity to pay and I told him I needed time. He said that today was the only day I can do it. I then asked him what if I didn't pay and he said that he was going to send the company a statement saying that i was "refusing to pay", then proceeded to hang up. Apparently this company is in dire need of money and is willing to do whatever and say whatever to get it. Especially during a pandemic. They are taking advantage of customers during these hard times and should be highly ashamed of themselves. This was a very unpleasant and poor mannered FIRST phone call! I tried calling the original company that DNF Associates bought my account from and they said they were unable to help me with any information as the account was sold to DNF Associates.
