1. Errors on statement – several stakeholders involved

1.1 Title holder’s name on Erf 53 statement –name inaccurate (one of the Neighbours)
1.2 Address displayed – was not that of P189 – inaccurate address.
1.3 Dipaleseng Municipality noted that only they are entitled to attend to amendments to personal information on statement – for several years this has not yet been attended to
1.4 In view of aforementioned errors on statement, it is absolutely conceivable that several individuals are being accountable for costs incurred on this account, and further investigation desirable please.
1.5 Johan van der Westhuizen's account (in excess of R 45 000.00) was added to P189 - issues yet to be resolved

2. Interests

2.1 The amount of R41 834. 28 was calculated – can you please reveal the time frame (date FROM versus date TO)
2.2 Consistent delivery of statements per house hold were executed by Eskom staff (this was halted next to take-over by Dipaleseng Municipality, although it remains the responsibility of the client, receival of monthly statements crucial

3. Water charges

3.1 Please could you clarify between the diverse charges below - BOTH stating water?
3.1.1 Water – 1st amount of R8 213,68
3.1.2 Basic Water – 2nd amount of R5 879,76

TOTAL of: R 14 093.44

3.1.3 As previously indicated, NO water readings have been taken for several years due to meter buried extremely deep under the soil (metering point was only established very recently and dug open, to be exact, on the 12th of April 2022) Vusi, I think you can understand why these figures are in question and could have been merely an estimation for many years?

4. Sewage / Septic suck

4.1 Please could you elucidate in terms of the calculations towards the amount of R17 477,24 (cost per month versus time period, date FROM and TO) note that payments towards this account were executed and makes it impossible to conclude to amount stated on account?
4.2 Please also note – NO septic tank on property

5. Electricity

5.1 Please could you clarify between the diverse charges below - BOTH stating electricity?
5.1.1 Electricity – 1st amount of R1 152,29
5.1.2 Basic Electricity - 2nd charge of R19 064,07

TOTAL of: R 20 216.36

5.1.3 Please note that Pre-paid meters were installed for Eskom staff subsequently to take-over by Dipaleseng Municipality (it was required by Eskom for all accounts to be cleared prior to installation of pre-paid meters)

5.1.4 Again Vusi, you can appreciate the concern and charges in question (possible monthly estimations CONTINUES, although pre-paid meters were installed)
5.1.5 Only Corrie resided at this property, and as a single person limited charges could have incurred
5.1.6 We will have to request further investigation in this regard as well please

Dipaleseng have currently 3 (three) systems, but can not provided detailed info as to why no meter readings have been taken

Desired outcome: 1. Detailed statements since take-over of Eskom Grootvlei by Dipaleseng municipality2. Write-off of amounts during several years of no meter readings taken3. negotiations in terms of outstanding balance
