Dillard Department Store review: Being racially profiled

To whom it may concern,

My name is Julia Fossett I am a card holder and a faithful shopper of your store.

On Saturday January 13, 2024, me and my sisters, neices, and daughters were

shopping in the store in Pineville NC, now understand it was about ten of us and because of

Our race I feel like that was one of reasons we were targeted. The incident was embarrassing and offensive we were watched by two security workers the whole time we were shopping. At this time, we were not the only large party shopping, but we were the only group to be singled out. (race) I always felt very relax and comfortable while spending my money in Dillard, I was very disappointed and uncomfortable with being profiled. So decided to make our purchase and left the store. I don't know if we will shop at that store again and I do realize a few less loyal customers wouldn't be missed but I will feel better knowing I am welcomed at other retailors.
